Triumph has updated the Street Scrambler for 2021. And the biggest part of the update is the BS6-compliant 900cc, parallel-twin engine. This motor churns out 64.1bhp at 7,250rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,250rpm. It is linked to a five-speed gearbox. As for the other components like suspension and brakes, the 2021 model is the same as before.
It comes with 41mm telescopic front forks and twin-sided rear springs that are attached to 19-inch front/17-inch rear spoke wheels. Its braking setup consists of a single 310mm disc at the front and a 255mm disc at the back along with dual-channel ABS. The list of electronic aids also include three riding modes, switchable ABS and switchable traction control.
Moreover, the Street Scrambler also boasts of a key-fob incorporated immobilizer and USB charging socket as standard fitment. Triumph has also kept the styling and features unchanged. It sports split seats, a round headlamp, single-sided twin exhausts, and knobby tyres. However, it does get new colours- Urban Grey, Jet Black, and Matte Khatte/ Matte Ironstone.
As for competition, it goes up against the Ducati Scrambler Icon, and Scrambler Nightshift in the country.
