The 2022 Triumph Street Triple RS has arrived in the Indian market and the latest iteration of the middleweight naked roadster gets a new colour scheme. The latest iteration features a Carbon Black paint that is complemented by bronze wheels and bronze ‘RS’ graphics on the fuel tank. The company will also retain the Matte Black and Crystal White paint schemes for the motorcycle.
The changes are limited to styling upgrades in the form of a new paint theme. The design, on the other hand, remains unaltered and the motorcycle continues to feature a twin-pod headlight with eyebrow-style DRLs, a body-coloured front cowl, muscular fuel tank, rear seat cowl, and a compact exhaust canister.
The specifications, too, remain unchanged. Thus, the motorcycle continues to use the BS6-compliant 765cc, inline-three cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 121bhp and 79Nm of peak torque. This top-of-the-line variant benefits from Brembo M50 monobloc callipers and fully-adjustable Ohlins monoshock at the rear, and Showa forks up front.
The Triumph Street Triple RS rivals the likes of Kawasaki Z900, BMW F 900 R, and Ducati Monster in the Indian market.
