The Triumph Tiger 900 range received minor updates for 2024 and the line-up includes two variants – Rally Pro and GT.
Design
The Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro and Tiger 900 GT appear similar and have the same design. The fascia consists of twin LED headlights, adjustable visor, and a front beak.
Triumph offers the Tiger 900 Rally Pro in three colours – Carbon Black, Ash Grey, and Matt Khaki Green. The Tiger 900 GT also comes in three paint options – Graphite, Snowdonia White, and Carnival Red.
Features
Triumph has equipped the Tiger 900 Rally Pro with a seven-inch TFT screen with My Triumph Connectivity for call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, cornering ABS, traction control, emergency braking warning lights, all-LED illumination, six ride modes – Road, Rain, Sport, Rider Configurable, Off-Road, and Off-Road Pro, illuminated switches, tyre pressure monitoring system, centre stand, and engine protection guards.
The Tiger 900 GT comes with four ride modes – Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road, all-LED illumination, seven-inch TFT screen with My Triumph Connectivity for call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, cornering ABS, traction control, and emergency braking warning lights.
Engine
Both models use the same 888cc, inline three-cylinder motor that makes 106.5bhp at 9,500rpm and 90Nm at 6,850rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slip-and-assist clutch. The Tiger 900 Rally Pro also gets a quickshifter.
Hardware
Triumph has equipped the Tiger 900 Rally Pro with Showa 45mm upside-down forks offering manual preload, rebound, and compression damping adjustment. Its rear end gets a Showa monoshock that features manual preload and rebound damping adjustability and 230mm wheel travel.
The Tiger 900 GT comprises Marzocchi 45mm USD forks with manual rebound and compression damping adjustment and 180mm travel. The monoshock comes with manual preload, rebound damping adjustment, and 170mm wheel travel.
Both trims get dual front and a single rear disc. The Tiger 900 Rally Pro rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels with 90/90 front and 150/70 rear Bridgestone Battlax Adventure tyres, respectively.
The GT Pro uses a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel with Metzeler Tourance Next 100/90 front and 150/70 rear tyres.
