I have been using this bike for the last 15 years from 2009 to now the bike has been a great experience for me I purchased it amount of 67 K(on-road price) a few days before I re-registered it from RTO after 15 years. I am still getting 40 plus mileage in one litre and my bike engine is still not getting reopened now even though the clutch plate is original I am not joking its true, In 2017 my bike crossed 99999 km bar but still my bike running great on roads.

It was a very good experience with the dealer of TVS bikes Kishore TVS in Sambalpur city. Salesmen are also well-behaved and have a good knowledge of bikes. The bike has very low maintenance. The cons are that speed after 60 km, the bike gets throttled. One of the problems that the earlier generation Apaches and to an extent the RTR is the engine roughness. The performance was never a problem. With the addition of Fuel Injection that problem seems to have gone out of the window. The power delivery is very smooth and the throttle response is very crisp. The gearbox too is precise with positive shifts every time you tap the lever. The first gear is a bit weak and you don’t feel the true potential of the 150.7cc mill. Shifting while in the power band, I began to feel at home and was excited enough not to resist the urge to go faster and faster. That said if you shift the gear in lower r.p.m then you feel a tremendous loss in power and it takes quite a while to hit the power band again. So correct shifting is the key if you are riding the bike in day-to-day traffic. Personally, I don’t have any complaints about the character of the bike.

Do not buy if you respect you hard earned money. I made mistake don't do it

1. Buying was good but I got delivered late due to a delay from rto hsrp plate.2. Riding is good on good roads and speeds between 40-50kmph.3. Looks are simple and good, but performance is below average.4. Servicing is not good and required maintenance. 5. Pros.A) simple and decent look.B) posture is good.ConsA) engine is not good. Rpm settings are required many times.B) gearbox has issues.C) very high vibration above 55kmph you can not enjoy riding above that speed.D) seat is worst.E) rear disk brake is not good. You can not rely on that. So drive slow.F) cheap accessories and body parts used. G) headlight is worst, not visible if the vehicle coming from the front. Kindly change halogen into led.If you are die-hard crazy about apache then buy its 4v but my personal experience suggests going for the honda sp shine bs6. It is 125 cc but much better than apache 160 2v.

Tips for other riders
Always change the oil after 500-800 kms rides. Always clean the chain and apply the lubricant at 100 kms. Always use quality spares. Check tyre pressure at 10 days intervals. Use premium quality petrol. Do not accelerate instantly. Press the full clutch while changing gears. Stop the engine at a traffic signal. Always wear a good quality helmet if you can afford to buy shell approved helmet. Wash the bike and apply wax or shiner after cleaning the bike. Do not use a high beam when the vehicle coming from the front is within 100 mtrs.
