This bike is very powerful to bajaj pulsar 150.This bike is driving to national highway road sheri is smooth and no noise from engine and no vibration i am very like this by my lovely bike apache 160 rtr look and performance is very nice my favourite bike apache 160 rtr racing edition. Service and maintenance charges very low i am satisfied with this bike.

my buying experience is normal but i was excited for my first bike it is pretty in look front mask sheet and also a good quality grip tyre but brake light portion is noisy on breaker and suspension make ride easy and comfort and design of front portion is killer and bike bike sporty and servicing should be on time tell them to check oil and tight bolt and part oil on chain and tight chain because it has one issue of chain loosening so it make unwanted sound which also heart check paper and ask all your doubts and clear all issue thank you.

Buying experience: i bought the bike at 10.12.2019. The buying experience was quite good and the sales manager are very kind they have a many options to buy a bike. I bought it from sbm tvs motors, ayyanavarm .I know it via bikewale. Com.Riding experience : the riding position on the rtr isn't much sporty but it isn't that comfortable either. It has an average size fuel tank. It gets viby at high speeds(high rpms) which compromises its stability at high speeds. And the motorcycle seems quite small to mount saddle bags on it.Like i said one could cruise on rtr 160 but it wasn't meant for long distance touring.I get 45kmpl mileage in a city conditions and 47kmpl in highways. Looks& performance:the motorcycle is designed with a racing approach and features muscular and edgy design. Up front, the apache 160 gets beast-inspired headlamps which give the motorcycle an aggressive look.The tvs apache rtr 160 also features muscular tank with extended shrouds, chiseled engine cowl and stylish tail design. The motorcycle gets racing graphics decals. The rear end looks sleek and sharp thanks to the led tail lamp. The engine was very well. My top speed is 112kmph. The engine pickup was quite slow. It's suitable for city commute. The 5 speed gear box was very smooth while shifting the gear the exhaust sound was very nice. Servicing&maintenance:1st service 500km/1 month cost rs.726(chain sprocket lubrication, oil filter change) 2st service 2500km/3 month cost. rs.685(oil change, spark plug, chain sprocket lubrication) 3st service 5000km/6 month cost rs.726(pinion gear change, engine overhauling) However the maintenance & service cost is quite lower. But the bike has some problem in speed meter.Pros and cons:Pros :-The rtr - racing throttle response. It lives up to its name. The instant response with the throttle encourages you to push further (with caution).Decent mileage in the city. It consistently gives me 42 kmpl to 45 kmpl in spite of running it a higher rpms. Seems like the fastest in its class.It's light and easy to maneuver.Lesser maintenance costs.Decent seat height. Neither too high nor too low.And finally - the sound.Cons :-Not suitable for riding long distances. You may experience back pains.Mediocre tvs tyres. You can't rely on them during the monsoons. Got them changed to mrf zapper series. Rides better now.Vibration at certain speeds. Fades away once you cross that speed range.If you have a pillion rider, then it struggles a bit to pull. If riding solo, then no issues at all.

The bike is very decent for city riding. The bike is suitable for middle class people... first I have decided to buy.. pulsar ns 160 ... optionally tvs apache rtr ... this bike has very sporty look ... Power is awesome.

I am very excited to buy the TVS Apache 160 2v version. Now it completed and it's very comfortable to ride and it's looks awesome for everyone. No maintenance charge and servicing is good. I love this bike. It's awesome mind mind-blowing very easy to ride. Go for it and buy Apache 160 2v's pickup is very high.

I was happy buying the green and black colour scheme version when this model was 1st launched in 2012.

Now coming to its riding experience i got to say that the best part about it was the power it had back then.

I have used it in every condition and every terrain and for nearly 40,000kms now.

Still do about 150-200kms daily.

Pros:

The controlling of this bike with the rear disc is awesome and stops well quickly.

The tvs tyres are the best if compared to the mrf ones.

I loved the digital console the most, big readabe under direct sunlight.

The headlight has a good wide spread throw.

It has helped me see in the darkest of roads.

The exhaust note- superb?? i loved it and revv to hear that.

The bike body panels and parts are well put and you don't need any maintenance for at-least 5 years. After using it for 5 years is when the bolts and screws now have given way and i had to replace them, the body panels loosened up also.

It's a maintenance free bike.

* the seats are very comfortable for the rider and pillion and are soft too.

Cons:

* one thing i always had a complaint about is the riding posture.

* this bike isn't meant for tall riders with long legs and hands.

You'll literally cry while taking it on longer rides.

* i have taken it for long rides but had to stop every few 100kms due to the backache, wrist pain and neck pain.

* plus the vibrations, now that's something so bad about this bike you'll vibrate after getting down from the bike.

* the shorter gear ratio and just 5 gears is a big time harassment while taking it for longer rides even for 25-30kms.

Because the 5 gear is the longest one ranging from 45kmph to the top speed of 128kmph that was shown on my speedo.

Wish they could add a 6th gear and let the bike smoothed up a bit.

*it's a city bike and meant for small distances of 25kms at max after which you and the bike surely would be tired.

The engine stresses out a lot after a long distance.

* there's no wind blast protection and so the bike takes a toll on you.

* the worst part about this bike is the light weight and god knows what's the other reason but if there's a strong wind from any side and you are above 70kmph the bike suddenly tilts and sways away and you tend to lose balance and this is what scares the rider the most.

* the bike easily achieved the top speed of 128kmph but then it cried till it could reach that speed. I lost about 2 litres of fuel in a go while attempting for the top speed mark.

No doubt the bike is good but then these issues actually need to be rectified in the upcoming apache 160 and 180 models.

But yes i am never buying a tvs bike again after the vibes that have taken a toll on me.

But mostly of all i bought this bike only for it's looks and its demon eyed led drls

Apache bike led light so attractive & gorgeous.When i got out of the house, everybody asked me how great your bike looks. Riding experience-: apache 160 riding experience is so good. When i got to dehradun then i riding this bike. When i riding this bike then this bike shocker is very smooth and provide to good performance.Apache bike front shocker is so good and small bumps do not know every ride. My apache give me highway millage 58-65 km/l that's so amazing performance.Details about looks, performance:- apache likes to look away from. Apache led light is so awesome. Apache 160 front look killer. Apache bike performance is very smooth. Apache bike handling so smooth and easy turn.Servicing and maintenance-: last time i to do apache servicing. Apache servicing cost is very low. When i was servicing my apache 160 then servicing cost only 452 it's so awesome. Apache 160 maintenance cost is very low. Apache bike every parts gives super performance.Pros-: apache 160 bike every govt job worker& private job work because his bike performance so good.Cons-: apache bike 160 chain set cheap. I bought tvs apache rtr 160 bike because of its muscular looks and also it offers very good features at an affordable price. According to its price, its an easy maintenance bike and perform well. Its engine is not so powerful but fine enough. Also, its price is low according to its features. It has a very impressive design and looks and is very comfortable to ride the 159.7 cc engine provides great performance and acceleration.
