Style i wouldnt say my choise fits yours, but looks decent. Not flomboyant.Led lights in the new model makes it look agressive.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox i got my apache rtr 160 in nov,2014.Power packed performer with a decent mileage and a bit messed up gear box. The best thing in the apache is its engine.Rtr-race throttle responce as it stands for, will leave you astonished with its stunning performance. It appears as if the engine literally speaks with you.

    But

gear box has been the problem with apaches over the years. I dont think tvs has done the best they could do to improve that. Lets hope this gets resolved over the years as it did form the old model to new model.Yes, i have rode both new and old models, the new one looks better.

Ride quality & handling i have to admit , the design suits best for solo ride. I am imressed with the control apache offers while maneuvering through trafiic of hyd.I wouldn't say its the best in the segment, but with the kind of pick up apache give you, makes you feel 'everything comes at a cost some thing else'.And with the second person it takes away even more of your control and comfort.

I have heard many people say apache has problem with its vibrations. But, trust me you would want to physically feel the speed.Though, vibrations are not intended, i felt them more advantageous rather than a limitation. Overall if you are passionate rider and dont mind a little discomfort. Go for it, you will never regret.

Final words i have bought the apache after considering fz.Gixer,unicorn. Every bike has its pros and cons. Apache is one of a kind bike, which can overshadow its limitations with its impressive engine performance and throttle response and leave you with no regrets.

Areas of improvement gear box and riding comfort can be improved.

    Pros

    power,performance,control

    cons

    gear box

Tvs apache is cheap and best bike overall than other bikes. This bike ride is very cool and smooth and comfortable .Looks like a monster bike design, servicing cost is very minimum and for middle class people it is affordable thing. This bike is the most favourite bike amongst Indian youth. This bike is all Indian and they love it. I suggest the bike title as "youth bike"

I bought it in 2018 November. Bs4 model. After riding 35000 km I am writing this review. It's a wonderful feeling with this machine. Performance and maintenance is very good and mileage also. I am getting 52 km/l. Sound effect is very nice after Dominar bike but one thing it's vibrating 5 to 7000 rpm this is only bad thing about this bike, Others wise go for it guys.

  • Okish bike for 80k

    Harsh

Bought this bike on nov 2014,

style styles is pretty good, you may get alot of attention in rural areas etc. Looks good from all angles.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox engine refinement is below average, quite much vibration around 4000rpm and in footpegs above 70-80 km/h, though the pickup of bike is amazing. I achieved top speed of 113 km/h @ 8200rpm (speedo indicated).

Ride quality & handling ride quality is good, you can corner the bike at 100 km/h, but before that one should consider changing those poor tyres provided by tvs, riding position is aggressive so you might get some back pain in long rides.

Final words its ok bike for 80k for a daily rider, can give milage around 40-45 kmpl easily, the body frame is rust prone, so avoid putting bike outside in monsoon season.

Areas of improvement refinement of engine, better quality body frame and other parts, after sales service.

    Pros

pickup, looks, powerful front disc brake,

    cons

poor quality tyres, unrefined engine, vibration in handlebars and footpegs, rust prone body frame.

This bike is fully comfortable for me. 3 people can ride comfortably. This tvs apache RTR red colour is awesome. Bike power starter is very good. This bike pickup is also very good I run this on highest speed at 113 km/h with solo ride. In this bike mileage is also good at 45-50 km/l. Maintenance is also not very costly.

  • RTR 160 2V performance

    RTR 160 2V RM BT
Initially, when I visited the showroom to buy this bike, the executives didn't tell me the features of the bike properly. Thanks to the Bikewale website. I got better info about the bike here. Then I received a bike after 1 week of booking.
When I took my bike for the first ride, I went for 65 kms in a single stretch. I didn't change the riding modes. I rode it in Urban mode, max speed 60kmphr, until 1st service. Then I was surprised that I got a mileage of 62Kmpl! After the 1st service, I rode it in Sports mode at 70 - 90Kmph. Not bad that I got mileage of 52kmpl. But after the 1st service, bike pick-up has decreased a bit. Then after 2600 Km, I left my bike for 2nd service. After that, I took it for 80-90 km in a single stretch. Riding is smoother in Sports mode than the other 2 modes. But I can experience vibration at of bike handle at above 100Kmph speed. Back pain is common in this!
The look of this bike is crazy. Very aggressive. But the quality of some parts is poor. Front forks & mudguard has to be improved. Overall performance of this bike is Awesome.
Free service costs are a bit high!
    1st service(660km)- 1220 Rs
    2nd service(2000km)- 1275 Rs
This bike is a classic option for middle-class boys. Great mileage. Superb performance. Aggressive look. Budget-friendly.

  • King of the mid bike segment...But gets cranky sometimes.

    Nagendar

Areas of improvement gear box and riding comfort can be improved.

    power,performance,control
