Reviews of TVS Apache RTR 160

I got my apache rtr 160 cc bike in mar-2012 by paying 72k rupees(yes there was a time). The meter now reads 39, 168 km covered. It has been with me for the past 6 years and is still in very good condition. Previously i had bajaj discover. Please read my experience and views about the bike:visual appeal:it has decent looks. Back it 2012 it was one of the most sought bikes along with bajaj pulsar. I opted for apache because of its proven tracker record. But now a days there are better looking bikes are available in the market. Having said that, it doesn’t look that bad too:-)mileage: usually don’t keep too much tracker of the mileage. But i have observed that it varies from 40 to 45 km/ltr. Not great but not bad too considering it is a 160cc bike. If you are too concerned for the mileage better go for 125 cc bikes.Comfort:comfort-wise it might not be the best bike. Its neither high on comfort nor the worst either. In the short trips you find it quite ok but you would feel the difference once you drive it for longer distance.Performance:it is a beast with a powerful battery. Pick up is nice and breaks are pretty good. Only cons is it vibrates once you increase the speed over 70km/hr.Maintenance:there are bikes like yamaha fz or bajaj pulsar which are high maintenance bikes. As compared to them, tvs apache’s maintenance won’t cost you too much.Well that’s it from my me i wish you have wonderful and safe ride! one last word…a request…please wear a helmet for your safety!

At first i was thinking to compare this with suzuki gixer and honda hornet, i went to suzuki showroom for test ride but its engine was not smooth and in hornnet control was not up to the mark plus it is very broad.. Everyone suggested me apache over pulsar and i buyed it. Till date i have travelled 25000+ kms including many tours like leh-ladakh, manali, nainital, kashmir etc. And this bike gave me the performance which it is famous for..The rtr (racing throttle response) in mountain areas..And i loved that pickup. Coming to services its the cheapest servicing bike, no extra cost of maintenance... Nothing...Every thing is pros in this, no cons.

When went to showroom i thought i want to take any scooter but after i have seen this apache premium version i really liked it. I bought it in December 2016.After buying my apache, when i ride it outside every one would appreciated even unknown people also at that time i really proud myself. My office colleagues also really liked my apache. Coming to looks, it's fabulous and beautiful. I have chooses blue. It looks fantastic in that colour. About service, i have found good showroom and experienced people. So i didn't get any issues with servicing.I have found one issue with that bike that is, when i ride it at 120 kmph the handle shakes a little bit. Once after servicing it was fine.

I have purchased this bike 7 months before and i just loved it its wow amazing ride for this bike fantastic road gripping and superb strong bike at all.. I love all tvs bike some great bikes are there and they have great mileage at all.. My personal opinion is this bike is amazing and also for u love it.

I like pickup and the power of the bike the. Design of is too good and the bike is turn easily on sharp turn without any problem the bike is too heavy and so powerful so during driving be careful and the disc break is very good it stop the bike very easily and the best thing is that the mileage is too good.

I also use apache 160 for daily commuting bike superb its performance and built quality and its throttle response is amazing superb it such a rtr bike for feel some sporty and powerful Compare to the 150 and 160cc segment bike not an other bike to compete it and its long lasting durable engine is such a good thing.

Best bike under 1 lakh.You know i like one thing it's pick up and mileage but ever it's give you speed which you need at little bit busy road . what you need as a common person,As like a teenager when can't afford ktm or any sports bike then get it , it'll give you a best ,But you don't go to over 95 because it's not an abs man .But it's best in handling i love this so much I'm riding everyday and i feel it ..Make a chance and take it.And maintenance is so easy and not too expensive ....One more thing i suggest to company something heat between sit and fuel tank so i'm say that make it comfortable. When my father gave a surprise that he had brought a bike i was excited to see i left my match and ran to my home .When i saw my bike i felt very excited and i took a ride of 42 km that was my best ride .It looks awesome.It performance was better than duke also. I also do services every 500 km after.My best bike .My heart romy.

My brother brought this bike for me as i insisted ..Riding experience is brilliant .. You feel less tired as compared to other bikes after riding this bike..Looks are good, performance is high..Maintenance cost is same as other bikes Mileage of 45 kmpl. Best bike to ride on busy road and traffic as per my experience....Smooth handling.. Even on highways it's good..All together best bike in this price range.
