Buying experience was great bought it from nearby dealer got extra bit of accessories.
Riding this bike means attracting everyone on the road with stunning looks feels great.
Performance wise gives extra power when overtaking on highway and in city as well.
Service and maintenance affordable as it is Indian bike and easy.
Pros :

Cons :
If you are considering this bike for mileage it will give you around 40 on highway and 35 in city which
I don't like.

I bought it from chennai. Its working fine as well as having great look front as well as back also.It performing so smooth and mileage also quite good..I crossed my 2nd servicing also very much good looking and fantastic performance also..I am suggesting that for daily use and pick up purposes this the best bike

An awesome commuter when you go with your family... And and amazing sport when you are on a race... And this bike is the best performer of 150cc segment, the only problem with this bike is maintaining the chain... Its gets loosen soon... So shift the gears properly and don't over oil the chain. Have a awesome riding experience.

Very low maintenance
Superb comfort & smoothness
Great design
Very good for long drive
Only thing you should consider is the mileage which is a bit less then some other sports bike

And seat comfortable and 2 person can easily sit with comfort to this long drive bike .

The true beauty of speed & style

Its an awesome experience from the time of purchasing till now a very beautiful journey, the dealership has completed all my documentation on same day and within a week i got my rc. I had took a tour to haridwar , riding is amazing, great pickup , nice mileage and non-stop thrilling experience apache gives me.

The price is reasonable and not high prices compared to its performance.
The feel of riding is good can travel tours.
Looking is very dynamic and coming to performance simply superb no words but slightly slippery in water.
There is low maintenance and servicing is normal.
Pros:
Good for racing and pickup is good.
Looking is superb and dynamic.
Low maintenance.
Lighting is awesome.
Cons:
Slightly slippery in water and rains.
Travelling so far is not comfortable due to step setting.

Change the engine oil for 2500kms. Use normal grip tyres for better millage. Air filter and carburetor for every 3 months of use. Oil filter should change during change of oil.

Excellent and timely delivery from tvs on buying. They will follow up on each of the free and paid services in the first year itself. Never had any major complaints with the performance. Have used it for 1 year and all parts including fuse, tyres, lights still original. Very sporty looks. Best bike, i have not buying experience but i have 2 years riding experience. It have too good look. All model are good but rtr160 model is most popular. Tvs is most popular in India. Apache bike performance is very good.

Tvs apache 160 rtr is the best in the 160 cc category, in terms of performance, mileage and speed. With an aggressive build and aerodynamics this is the best in its class.
The rtr 160 has been a decent looking motorcycle with proportionate design and styling. The latest iteration of the rtr had its tryst with aggressive styling.
Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox
The 160cc 15.4bhp mill has been doing its duty on the rtr pretty well. The over square engine is free revving and revs cleanly upto the red-line of 9000rpm for the stock engine. Though there is no rev limiter, you can feel the power dip beyond 9500rpm. The power delivery is progressive through the rev range and the racing throttle response system helps the bike performs well in the mid range. One thing that dents the rtr experience are the engine vibrations that creep in near 5000rpm and are felt right up to the red line.
Ride quality & handling
The racing inspired two-piece handle bars are well positioned giving the rider an aggressive posture. The ergonomics of the motorcycle are track oriented and the power delivery of the bike does justice to it. The motorcycle design is bang on target giving the bike a proper balance and stability on straight line as well as around corners. In city traffic, in spite of the two-piece handle bar, the bike is very easy to maneuver and the good mid-range response makes it a delight to ride. The vibrations peak between 5000rpm to 6000rpm, which is sadly the normal riding rev range in India and hence long rides on this bike make your palms go numb. The seat is soft and more comfortable in comparison wit its competitors. The brakes are pretty much enough for the bike but the tvs tyres do not inspire confidence.
Final words
The tvs rtr 160 is a small, puny and powerful bike which is a great package for on road as well as track riding. The engine is a gem in terms of power delivery and longevity. The fuel economy is good. If tvs can work around the nvh of teh engine, the motorcycle will be a true piece of art.

Buying experience was great bought it from nearby dealer got extra bit of accessories.
Riding this bike means attracting everyone on the road with stunning looks feels great.
Performance wise gives extra power when overtaking on highway and in city as well.
Service and maintenance affordable as it is Indian bike and easy.

If you are considering this bike for mileage it will give you around 40 on highway and 35 in city which
I don't like.

I bought it from chennai. Its working fine as well as having great look front as well as back also.It performing so smooth and mileage also quite good..I crossed my 2nd servicing also very much good looking and fantastic performance also..I am suggesting that for daily use and pick up purposes this the best bike

An awesome commuter when you go with your family... And and amazing sport when you are on a race... And this bike is the best performer of 150cc segment, the only problem with this bike is maintaining the chain... Its gets loosen soon... So shift the gears properly and don't over oil the chain. Have a awesome riding experience.

Very low maintenance
Superb comfort & smoothness
Great design
Very good for long drive
Only thing you should consider is the mileage which is a bit less then some other sports bike
You would definitely love its sound

Its an awesome experience from the time of purchasing till now a very beautiful journey, the dealership has completed all my documentation on same day and within a week i got my rc. The price is reasonable and not high prices compared to its performance.
The feel of riding is good can travel tours.
Looking is very dynamic and coming to performance simply superb no words but slightly slippery in water.
There is low maintenance and servicing is normal.
Pros:
Good for racing and pickup is good.
Looking is superb and dynamic.
Low maintenance.
Lighting is awesome.
Cons:
Slightly slippery in water and rains.
Travelling so far is not comfortable due to step setting.

Change the engine oil for 2500kms. Use normal grip tyres for better millage. Air filter and carburetor for every 3 months of use. Oil filter should change during change of oil.

Excellent and timely delivery from tvs on buying. They will follow up on each of the free and paid services in the first year itself. Never had any major complaints with the performance. Have used it for 1 year and all parts including fuse, tyres, lights still original. Very sporty looks. Best bike, i have not buying experience but i have 2 years riding experience. It have too good look. All model are good but rtr160 model is most popular. Tvs is most popular in India. Apache bike performance is very good.

Tvs apache 160 rtr is the best in the 160 cc category, in terms of performance, mileage and speed. With an aggressive build and aerodynamics this is the best in its class.
The rtr 160 has been a decent looking motorcycle with proportionate design and styling. The latest iteration of the rtr had its tryst with aggressive styling.
Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox
The 160cc 15.4bhp mill has been doing its duty on the rtr pretty well. The over square engine is free revving and revs cleanly upto the red-line of 9000rpm for the stock engine. Though there is no rev limiter, you can feel the power dip beyond 9500rpm. The power delivery is progressive through the rev range and the racing throttle response system helps the bike performs well in the mid range. One thing that dents the rtr experience are the engine vibrations that creep in near 5000rpm and are felt right up to the red line.
Ride quality & handling
The racing inspired two-piece handle bars are well positioned giving the rider an aggressive posture. The ergonomics of the motorcycle are track oriented and the power delivery of the bike does justice to it. The motorcycle design is bang on target giving the bike a proper balance and stability on straight line as well as around corners. In city traffic, in spite of the two-piece handle bar, the bike is very easy to maneuver and the good mid-range response makes it a delight to ride. The vibrations peak between 5000rpm to 6000rpm, which is sadly the normal riding rev range in India and hence long rides on this bike make your palms go numb. The seat is soft and more comfortable in comparison wit its competitors. The brakes are pretty much enough for the bike but the tvs tyres do not inspire confidence.
Final words
The tvs rtr 160 is a small, puny and powerful bike which is a great package for on road as well as track riding. The engine is a gem in terms of power delivery and longevity. The fuel economy is good. If tvs can work around the nvh of teh engine, the motorcycle will be a true piece of art.
