Got mileage of | 30 kmpl |
It was love at first sight, the looks were just amazing, had a thought to buy the 180 abs version in view of safety, but to be honest the looks of the current one (no offence to its owners) and no monoshock suspension made me shoo away from it.
This on other hand was very daunting and i had got the bike in a week after booking as the colour i'd asked was readily available, the performance is just awesome for city driving and the name apache holds good for the bike, the low and mid-range torque is just good and puts all competition behind in cities, the power delivery is linear and the usp of this bike is handling where you will love this bike, since it's heavier in nature does awesome job in cornering and you never cease the opportunity to corner it with ease. The top speed is where the bike misses it's spot to top position, the average top speed is around 135 to 140kmph but safe speeds i recommend it is below 120kmph as there is tyre wobbling in higher speeds which is a risk factor. Upgrading to better ones will be good option if you're a regular highway rider.
The bike has 5 speed gearbox which falls short of 6th one and many owners has definitely felt the need of it in lieu of fuel economy, the current fe figures are at 30kmpl to 35kmpl average.
The seat is a comfortable place to be in, however the rear seats needs some circus to sit in as it's positioned quite high and one has to literally jump onto the bike to sit. There are minor issues like chain needing frequent lubing because it's exposed to air without any covers, but there's nil vibrations whatsoever when you drive the bike.
Tyres given are remora ones which does decent job, the side stand given is too small and positioned off set, which needs to be carefully parked because the bike leans very much and stand feels very weak.
Tips for TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Lube the chain frequently and check engine oil levels in initial stages.

I've taken it to the Shillong Circuit, Menchuka for hardcore offroading, and Tawang. The bike works like magic.Found issues with the service quality, which makes me regret buying the bike sometimes.Negative things could be that the quality of the parts could have been better, and as I said, service centers could be better in terms of service quality and parts availability.

I bought this bike on Jan 21 up to 15-16 k km it was ok though its maintenance cost is high. But in the last 18 months, it was like a nightmare for me. Too many electrical problems with this bike. Low torque is very bad, from the beginning itself it has had a clutch short problem. I ride this bike around 24.5 k km and have spent more than 50k for its maintenance in the last 4 years.

I bought this bike on May 2022 ,at the time of buying this bike it took 1 week after booking and they told you will get bike on time but I didn't, after that for servicing whenever I go they say you have to book an appointment at least one week ago,and now after 2 years of usage whenever i go for services they add unwanted cost that you have to replace this and that all labour chargers and once now when I have given bike for servicing they say that you have to give some time that parts are not available we have to issue it and it took 15 days for that after that I just received the bike from servicing they made a bill of approx 9500rs and told me that there was a harness wiring issue that you have to pay for it I also paid and after receiving the bike I just ride the bike for 30min and again same issue was there so I again got there and they told me you put your bike here will check and now they say that you have a sensor issue that also need to replace and that cost also you have to give of 2500 rs so never buy tvs bike, worst experience never buy tvs models. They just fool you and you don't have other options because BS6 engine bikes have many sensors and you can't go to the local garage to repair them because the parts will be also not available with them, so never buy tvs bikes.

I just bought a TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and I really like it. This 200cc streetfighter bike is a lot of fun to ride. It's got sporty performance, a feature-packed design, and an attractive price point. I just had my TVS Apache RTR 200 4V serviced, and it was cheap! It cost me around 1000 rupees, including labor, for every 2300 kilometers. I use the engine oil that they sell at the showroom. I am getting a mileage of around 42 km/l.

Servicing is good and maintenance is also very low, comfort mileage, Pros - comfort, style, sound, slipper clutch, stunning headlight, and the front tire is not wide, but the only drawback is spare parts take time, Buying experience is good. Riding experience was excellent. The look and performance are excellent, if you want Apache, the better choice just go ahead.

I have not experienced any problems with the motorcycle, which leads me to conclude that it is entirely free of defects.

This is the best 200 cc bike .Highly recommended .The Apache 200 was always one of the best motorcycles in the 200cc segment and all the updates it has received for 2021 come together quite nicely to make it even better. The bike feels planted at highway speeds and is extremely sharp around the twisties.
