A perfect bike... A naked sport bike.. Good for Indian roads .. Great handling experience with a smooth clutch easy gear shifting.. Good brakes(abs will be a good enhancement) good power for a 200cc bike... Just 1 small drawback as the bike has 5 gear shift .. 6th gear would be better as the bike has the good power ..Best part is it is very budget friendly .. 1.10l is something that a middle class people can afford.. Overall a great experience and no regrets after the purchase.

Hi guys,I bot this bike in Oct 2016 .There are lots of thing to talk about.Buying experience was hassle free and delivery by rushab motors was on time.Smooth, powerful, edgy, good control. Pros Handling, power, throttle Cons Mileage, tvs stock tyres gets worn out pretty quick.Puncture prone.Good bike for power and long rides. All you got to do is take care of your bike and the bike will take care of you.Regular maintenance is required.Important:- the front disc has a known issue of being to lose. There is a kit provided by service station make sure you get that installed in front of you because service center cheated me and by that disc brake was jammed. Please be careful of even small details.Your bike is your life line and take care of it as your baby.

Decision to buy this machine was easy after the first test ride & getting any colour was not an issue as everything was available without waiting. The first thing that struck my mind after riding this bike was "this is it!!! this is made for me!"riding experience can't be shared in these pages as i will be completing lakh kms in near future & lots of memories are connected with my rides in different terrain.Anyone driving it once will admit about the fact that this machine is built to deliver performance. Rtr is a great bike within it's price range & similar engine segment. You can easily commute your daily needs of transport but giving a twist on throttle let's you know why it is named as rtr. A perfect balance according to Indian roads in all aspects, having a good margin for higher ground clearance adds to the benefit.I own this bike from almost 9 years. Driven it for almost 93k kms. And engine overhaul for 3 times, yes you read it right! i just had my full engine overhaul recently with every single part replaced inside my block. It depends on your riding habits & how you maintain your machine. Although parts cost & maintenance is not so high for a common man. Also, i had some bad experience with the company service centres. For which i had to suffer & end up with the final engine surgery. I have used my apache more as a tourer including daily commute. It is comfortable for long rides(driven for 25 hrs without sleep). Of course it was not possible just because the bike is comfortable but it also takes your will power to achieve the target.Everything in this world is not perfect & so is the case here. A more efficient performance could be drawn by using a fi system instead of carburettor for 180 model.Engine oil recommended grading is not sufficient for long rides as it lowers the level when driving continuously.Unwanted noise is encountered from the front cowl i have experienced in every apache. So these maybe some cons which i think are common with these range of two wheeler. The bike's a all-rounder, as you can race-tour-commute-off road(sometimes), etc. To end up we can simply say, you get a nice racing machine with this price tag which can stand apart from other bikes.

I had bought apache rtr 200 4v around 8 months back. To be honest this bike is the best in segment in terms of money, quality, and it’s rigid conditions. After riding it around 12k and more km i feel the bike still outs it’s power adequately (though there are a bit noises, riding it around for these much km’s) *never mind*. There are bikes of more power but for my use for a city commuter, the horsepower it provides is more than enough to take you along and i should say about the features that tvs has provided with rtr 200 4v, abs as an option is itself an upper hand in its segment, the exhaust note has made it attractive, stock rubbers are good enough though they have pirelli’s as an option too. I would simply suggest it to anyone who looks for a 200cc bike of a lakh money which has both the power and mileage well the stunning looks too.

I was one of those who got the first model of BS4 complaint engine in my locality, I used this machine for local commute and weekend ride's, look's are subjective but this machine is was better looking and does the descent job between power and mileage, as far as service and maintenance this is very pocket friendly and at around 22k kms i hot my chain sprocket and Tyre replacement, stock remora is not so good, pros to me is it's very pocket friendly , give good mileage, has decent power. cons would be lacks 6th gear where I can cruise at lower RPM.

1.Buying experience was good as it was my first bike excitement 2. Riding an apache is always a fun it is know for his low end punch thus 0 to 100 in just 8.5 sec which is to quick , controlling is best 3. Looks are great n performance is also punchy 4. Tvs service centres are useless i am never satisfied 5.Lack in 6 th gear so not so good in top end but mid range n low range is best comparing his rivals.

The buying experience was ultimate, riding experience is awesome. Looks are appealing and performance is undoubtedly upto the mark. The after sales services is quite good from the service centers. It requires very less maintenance.Pros can be it's slipper clutch and dual channel abs, as in this price range it's the best bike. Cons should be the missing of 6th gear & temperature indicator Suggestions should be the adding of the missing items.

The buying experience was good enough with 10 days of waiting time for the gloss black model. Only the financers are misleading and unaware of the policy. I have been riding this motorcycle for the last 6 months and I am satisfied with my purchase. It might be a little underpowered but its price range and mileage justify it.

1. The buying experience was pretty fine. The sales guy was behind me and my dad calling up everyday to keep updating us on the discount we'd get on the bike because we were planning to buy pulsar ns or the duke or but my dad wasn't allowing me to get my hands on ns or the duke and he liked hornet so i thought of the apache as my friend owned one and it was totally unplanned. But the tvs sales people are very lazy and don't care about the customers after the sales.2. I bought this bike during the monsoon and then it was first bike..Had been waiting for two years for my bike so i couldn't wait any longer. It is tvs so i was worried about the quality of this bike but it was better than i expected. 3. The bike looks really good and it turns quite a few heads because of its bassy exhaust and when you rev it hard it really sounds nice and different. The performance is good for citing riding and does the job well as it gives you the sporty feel. The only thing it lacks is in the 6th gear cause when you do high speeds you really miss the 6th gear.4. The first two services were cheap but the third one emptied my pocket because my rear disc brake had rusted so the charged me 2k for it which is fine but the real trouble started after they couldn't fix the problem.I still face the problem after three months of servicing after which i have decided now not to go to the service centre as those guys are least interested and just find ways of looting you.5. The bike is a really good package value for money bike and tvs has offered this bike with many features for such less price. The only issue is the service centre guys and they need to add a 6th gear on this bike and power it a bit more.

It is the best bike for long drive but you can change engine oil 500 km

Best in segment
Sharath Johnes
