  • Why 200 4v is best among its competitors

    Vishal Goel

Tvs apache was always a handsome looking motorcycle, and gladly the same sporty lines have been carried forward in the new bike. The lines are sharper and the motorcycle is much compact than its predecessor despite maintaining the familiar apache dna. The boomerang-shaped led drls look very nice, especially in the night, and many youngsters liked this detail. Other interesting details like the sharp fuel tank extensions, off-set fuel tank, matte paint finish and the batman logo-type grab rail play their part in distinguishing the rtr 200 from the crowd. My only grouse is the exhaust muffler that feels a bit oddball. The instrument console is an all-digital unit with white backlit and despite the plethora of information; it is easy to read on the go. That said, the shift light indicator should have been larger. The new apache rtr 200 gets two engine options -carburettor and fuel injection. Our long term bike is the carburetted version that develops 20ps at 8,500rpm and 18.1nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The first thing that strikes you about the new power plant is the reduced nvh as compared to the rtr 180. Acceleration is brisk with the gear ratios spread out to offer good 0-60kmph sprint while the throaty exhaust note gives good company. But the engine does have a tendency to get heated up when riding at crawling speeds in traffic. The 5-speed gearbox performs decently but doesn’t offer crisp shifts like its japanese rivals.

I own RTR Race edition 2.0 , Best bike in this segment Build quality and ride is pretty awesome , Tvs servicing is very cheap compared to other brands , needs frequent chain lubrication because of open sprocket . Best suitable for average height riders. Appearance is very good, in previous edition Visor was provided olybin FI version But visor is available in all variantas, Stickering work is pretty awesome.

  • Apache! not my choice its my passion.

    Manish N Singh

Apache rtr 160 was my first choice but when i visited the new model apache 200 4v then it becomes my passion. I bought this bike before 3 months. The bike is extremely memorable because i used it repeatedly. It is perfect for me and i like it so much. The look was awesome that i don't have words to define it. Really the bike was as special as i want to purchase. The servicing and maintenance are easy to handle. As it is new for me so that i don't know much about it. I visited lots of place and plan for several long drive with this bike and i never feel bored with this bike. My family is also love this bike due to its look. I love this bike more for its speed in a long drive. I think it is my first and last bike of my life.

    Nived Hareesh

Hi, I am giving you honest review of rtr . Completed 20k kms yesterday . The bike really awesome for short rides upto 500 km . You can rely on bike for its overall performance and quality . I got little issue from my gearbox . The downshift was very hard and also oil was dripping . This time i increased my oil grade company was recommended 10w 30 for my bike . But i go for 10 w 50 it's because of heavy outdoor temperature also to maintain viscosity at higher temperature and best part is the oil treatment that was added by abro. The bike easy reving upto 9k . Also i have returned my engine with force bleed system.

Good riding experience, pickup is so good, but gear sensors fails some time, rear is some what not comfortable for long journey . For single best bike . Millage is good, service cost is ok, max speed 135 km/hr.Good control over brakes.Suitable for men with 5.7 and more height. Its better to do service at company service centres.

Aerodynamic pressure is very high at first sight i loved the bike the way it looked it's lovely and street fighter look the aggressive drls are the awesome riding is never been this much fun i have used r15 pulsar 150 ns200 duke 200 but this machine is worth every penny overall good bike with some issues like gear indicator ,chain sprocket but that too not often value fr money.
