The tvs iqube is supposed to be a game changer for tvs in its ev debut but sadly it is let down by step motherly treatment by tvs itself. Buying was problematic as tvs as chosen only 4-5 showrooms in all of bangalore to sell iqube. For some reason, showrooms are not enthusiastic about giving test ride, following up, picking calls etc. All the push needs to come from the customer side till they get vehicle delivery. Looks like tvs itself in not eager about selling iqube in big numbers. The iqube rides very well in city conditions and like a very conventional scooter minus the petrol engine noise and vibrations. No complaints there. No hassles with pillion rider either.Build quality is not great ..Plastic feel throughout and not the nice kind as well. Gaps between panels are clearly visible. The key fob is a prime example of giving flashiness the upper hand over quality. Mine simply split into two after a few days.Charging time takes 6-7 hours for 10% to 100% and gives upto 75km riding distance. Good for short distance rides. Charger price is extra, which is plain dumb considering every ev should have a charger in its package. The most cheapest electronic product ships with a charger and tvs chose not to. Clearly the accessory pays more gimmick. Also charging point needs a good earthing presence else vehicle cannot be charged. You will not find this mentioned in showroom.Vehicle maintenance is not much, just keep tires inflated and use water to clean and that's all it takes. But the onus is on the owner to keep the vehicle problem-free because iqube service centers are very few and you cannot get it repaired in local garages. You are at the mercy of the tvs service center which can repair it. Tvs having so much local presence already should have at least ensured that iqube can be repaired at any service center. Again this feels deliberate. My nearest service center for iqube is nearly 15 km away but there are more than 8 tvs service centers on the way which do not deal with iqube. Also spares are not compatible with any of their other products.Another thing is that tvs itself seems perplexed with many of the random things that the scooter does. My vehicle shows up with a "close throttle warning" at starting and tvs has not been able to tell why that comes and what the solution is. The only so called solution is to twist the throttle and leave it and hope the warning goes away. Clearly the sensor calibration is what the issue is but they want customer to change the way they drive to solve their problem. I have heard another user say sometimes the battery indicator shows 0% even if there is enough charge and need to restart the vehicle.Pros:- decent ev for someone whose daily travel is 50km and has charging facilities at home.- very good motor. Zippy, zero noise, responsive.- great handling and suspension and good ground clearance.- not complicated to use at all even with lots of electronic features.- easy to maintain.Cons:- reliability - range anxiety of ev aside, you never know which sensor might get knocked off on the iqube and the vehicle gets bricked (keep towing services number handy). Tvs should do more customer interaction to know the regular problems faced by users and only then they can solve.- serviceability is poor. Customer service almost has no knowledge of the scooter working and their only response is to ask the service center to call you. - takes way to long to charge.- there is no concept of software upgrade. Awful app. There is a lot of work for tvs to do with iqube if it wants to be considered a serious ev player. Otherwise, this model will just be a footnote in the ev revolution.

Can just use it for short distance usage

Never go for TVS expecting the same standard as their petrol vehicles.Worst service and vehicle simply stop while driving and service people will make you wait for 4 to 5 hours on the road, if you on big town maybe you just need to wait for 3 to 4 hours like me The vehicle is not reliable, you can just use it for short distance usage like less than 5 km. Because we don't know when will it stop on the road. For women and elders, it is really difficult as it may stop at any time on the road. If you have more money to do some trial and error and you are always free to wait on the road, you may try Iqube

I bought iQube in Nov 2023. I’m writing this review after riding 2000+ kms.Pros: 1)No hassle for petrol.2)No noise makes it feel good while driving.3) 100 km per charge.4) It still drives even if the charging reaches 0% to reach our destination.Cons: Suddenly stops in between.1)No service center nearby.2)Sometimes, it does not start after servicing.3) The reverse button also does not work when needed after the servicing. Previously it was working fine.4)Needs to improve suspension as it does not feel smooth after running 1k kms.

Terrible Experience with TVS iQube S
Shanoof
After a year of using the TVS iQube S, I’ve faced constant issues that have made owning this scooter a nightmare. The battery started failing just a year in, when I took it to the Thrissur service centre in Kuriyichira, they kept the scooter for an entire month to sort out the issue. Shortly after getting it back, yet another problem arose. When I returned to the service centre, they assured me it was fixed, but just four days later, the scooter broke down again in the middle of the highway. I called the service centre for help, but they simply told me to bring it back myself, without offering any road assistance. This experience has highlighted the poor performance, excessive service delays, and lack of reliable support for this scooter. I wouldn’t recommend the TVS iQube S to anyone considering an electric scooter.

I bought Iqube on nov -23 , and within 2 months there was the issue of the scooter suddenly stopping in the middle of the road, went to the service centre they solved it by saying there was a loose connection, but after some time got another issue battery drains too fast but auto resolved, in September 2024 scooter totally stops, then I send it to the service centre by towing van, since my scooter is in the service centre, service centre team say there is a battery issue. I have 5 5-year warranty on the battery but the service team says that replacement batteries is not available with tvs company because there is a shortage of batteries, if there is a shortage how company sell new TVs IQube to customers where they get batteries for new scooters. Please don't buy tvs iqube is the worst scooter ever, and the worst service by tvs, go buy honda activa instead of this garbage. Almost lost my hard-earned money 150000/ on this garbage. After mailing many times, no proper reply from them.

Naveen
Totally value for the money but the range should be 100 is no problem, 5k or 10k rate increase but the 100 range is very good, but totally ok and totally great performance changing speed also good be the main thing is the range and the power mode. We have only 60b km not get 70 this a, lso includes a reason.

Last year I bought iqube s, one month ago its battery is gone and it is not charging after another month now its motor doesn't work and the rear wheel is not moving. I have contacted to service centre they said no to come home and repair it. So I have to send a vehicle to the service centre by RSA for that I have paid 1200 rupees. So make a wise decision just don't buy it.

The UG Vehicle zeros down the speed in the middle of the ride..! Even after one complaint was raised they said the issue is fixed but the technical glitch remain the same. Not up to mark I don't even know if they will fix the issue anyway the experience is not great. Also, the range is not as promised after 50% the range falls rapidly.
