The tvs iqube is supposed to be a game changer for tvs in its ev debut but sadly it is let down by step motherly treatment by tvs itself.
Buying was problematic as tvs as chosen only 4-5 showrooms in all of bangalore to sell iqube. For some reason, showrooms are not enthusiastic about giving test ride, following up, picking calls etc. All the push needs to come from the customer side till they get vehicle delivery. Looks like tvs itself in not eager about selling iqube in big numbers.
The iqube rides very well in city conditions and like a very conventional scooter minus the petrol engine noise and vibrations. No complaints there. No hassles with pillion rider either.
Build quality is not great ..Plastic feel throughout and not the nice kind as well. Gaps between panels are clearly visible. The key fob is a prime example of giving flashiness the upper hand over quality. Mine simply split into two after a few days.
Charging time takes 6-7 hours for 10% to 100% and gives upto 75km riding distance. Good for short distance rides. Charger price is extra, which is plain dumb considering every ev should have a charger in its package. The most cheapest electronic product ships with a charger and tvs chose not to. Clearly the accessory pays more gimmick. Also charging point needs a good earthing presence else vehicle cannot be charged. You will not find this mentioned in showroom.
Vehicle maintenance is not much, just keep tires inflated and use water to clean and that's all it takes.
But the onus is on the owner to keep the vehicle problem-free because iqube service centers are very few and you cannot get it repaired in local garages. You are at the mercy of the tvs service center which can repair it. Tvs having so much local presence already should have at least ensured that iqube can be repaired at any service center. Again this feels deliberate. My nearest service center for iqube is nearly 15 km away but there are more than 8 tvs service centers on the way which do not deal with iqube. Also spares are not compatible with any of their other products.
Another thing is that tvs itself seems perplexed with many of the random things that the scooter does. My vehicle shows up with a "close throttle warning" at starting and tvs has not been able to tell why that comes and what the solution is. The only so called solution is to twist the throttle and leave it and hope the warning goes away. Clearly the sensor calibration is what the issue is but they want customer to change the way they drive to solve their problem. I have heard another user say sometimes the battery indicator shows 0% even if there is enough charge and need to restart the vehicle.
Pros:
- decent ev for someone whose daily travel is 50km and has charging facilities at home.
- very good motor. Zippy, zero noise, responsive.
- great handling and suspension and good ground clearance.
- not complicated to use at all even with lots of electronic features.
- easy to maintain.
Cons:
- reliability - range anxiety of ev aside, you never know which sensor might get knocked off on the iqube and the vehicle gets bricked (keep towing services number handy). Tvs should do more customer interaction to know the regular problems faced by users and only then they can solve.
- serviceability is poor. Customer service almost has no knowledge of the scooter working and their only response is to ask the service center to call you.
- takes way to long to charge.
- there is no concept of software upgrade. Awful app.
There is a lot of work for tvs to do with iqube if it wants to be considered a serious ev player. Otherwise, this model will just be a footnote in the ev revolution.

I bought this vehicle on 8.1.25 in Indore m.p. and on very next day vehicle after charging it, it was showing no response. It was just like dead and was showing no response on turning the key On.
When complained to the company they replied we can make a complaint on your behalf and what the company will do we will let you know. It is the 5th day to day vehicle is with the service centre and no response. I am just thinking my money has gone to the wrong company that is giving a faulty product and then we need to go around their service just after one day of purchase.
Very disappointed by tvs and the after-sales response was too poor and felt cheated

The plate that it's an electric vehicle, with an excellent body design and excellent performance with a branded company and an Indian company with all India existing network with an ideal range available in each city of India with better service centers than new players in the market.

Worst after sales service

It's been a year since I purchased TVS in an iQube vehicle. It has been in the service center for 3 months in one year for battery replacement. Service centers are very very worst. Always small complaints will arise. Do not purchase this vehicle. No reply on the toll-free number too. Whenever I go to the service center they only waste time

very bad service provided

I have a Scooter Pep Plus with which problem with a part named ECU which frequently gets issues and as a result, the vehicle gets missing issues while riding I complained many times regarding this to my home dealer Darshana Automobile TVS Alwar Rajasthan.
This time also gave my vehicle for servicing but after approx 10 days they were unable to find the actual problem behind this and suggest to change the part while the customer already changed it two times within the range of approx 5000 kilometers running only. So kindly look into the matter and provide a proper solution for the same. I hereby why attach the job card of service for the same kindly resolve the problem ASAP .

good scooter in this price range and the stability to drive is awesome. mileage is 100km scooter is within 4 hours fully charged at home and is good for daily use we love this scooter and also its, Comfortable riding position, scooter has enough storage space. It has good suspension. TVS iQube driving in good pillion ride experience, its mirror looks good

Nothing premium about the battery, support or service. Avoid.

paid a premium for a worse experience. I bought it on Jan 24, from Jamnagar Aum TVS. First I checked their website and it said they have an extended warranty offer for up to 5 years instead of standard 3 years. The dealer had no idea about the same! I raised a query (TVS_Gr_20241278769) and they promised it to get resolved. To date no response whatsoever from the company or dealer. Last week after 9k+ KMs, battery issues started with the scooter getting off on the road! Despite having good charge! I am giving the scooter to the service station today. Got very pathetic reviews on their after-sales from people around. They take 15-20 days to resolve issues or replacement! Avoid paying premium to such a scooter, but a used ICE engine. I heard there is also no resell value to this toy after recent issues.

My iQube scooter is not displaying anything in its dashboard if I remove the charger. While the charger is connected the display shows 100% Charge. But if the charger is removed the dashboard goes blank. Called Service persons Arun and Varun (Bharath Automobile Jayanagar Bangalore) many times. But they don't respond. Very poor service. At least they could respond to our calls. And the problem is unlike regular bikes we can't show it to any nearby mechanic

The Iqube EV scooter is approx.3595 km run the speed complaints started now 3 times the same complaint reported in. Service center but it not rectified And repairing time front cover screws 4 nos missing found.Bad Service. I request for new purchase team, Please ask the scooter-using teams. It is better for new purchasers.

very bad service provided

I have a Scooter Pep Plus with which problem with a part named ECU which frequently gets issues and as a result, the vehicle gets missing issues while riding I complained many times regarding this to my home dealer Darshana Automobile TVS Alwar Rajasthan.
This time also gave my vehicle for servicing but after approx 10 days they were unable to find the actual problem behind this and suggest to change the part while the customer already changed it two times within the range of approx 5000 kilometers running only. So kindly look into the matter and provide a proper solution for the same. I hereby why attach the job card of service for the same kindly resolve the problem ASAP .

good scooter in this price range and the stability to drive is awesome. mileage is 100km scooter is within 4 hours fully charged at home and is good for daily use we love this scooter and also its, Comfortable riding position, scooter has enough storage space. It has good suspension. TVS iQube driving in good pillion ride experience, its mirror looks good
Good sales and service experience. Proven until now with no major issues. TVS iQube has 12-inch front and rear tires is good when we driving to comfort

Nothing premium about the battery, support or service. Avoid.

paid a premium for a worse experience. I bought it on Jan 24, from Jamnagar Aum TVS. First I checked their website and it said they have an extended warranty offer for up to 5 years instead of standard 3 years. The dealer had no idea about the same! I raised a query (TVS_Gr_20241278769) and they promised it to get resolved. To date no response whatsoever from the company or dealer. Last week after 9k+ KMs, battery issues started with the scooter getting off on the road! Despite having good charge! I am giving the scooter to the service station today. Got very pathetic reviews on their after-sales from people around. They take 15-20 days to resolve issues or replacement! Avoid paying premium to such a scooter, but a used ICE engine. I heard there is also no resell value to this toy after recent issues.

My iQube scooter is not displaying anything in its dashboard if I remove the charger. While the charger is connected the display shows 100% Charge. But if the charger is removed the dashboard goes blank. Called Service persons Arun and Varun (Bharath Automobile Jayanagar Bangalore) many times. But they don't respond. Very poor service. At least they could respond to our calls. And the problem is unlike regular bikes we can't show it to any nearby mechanic

IQube scooter complaint

The Iqube EV scooter is approx.3595 km run the speed complaints started now 3 times the same complaint reported in. Service center but it not rectified And repairing time front cover screws 4 nos missing found.Bad Service. I request for new purchase team, Please ask the scooter-using teams. It is better for new purchasers.
