User Review of Jupiter 125 by Johan

It's heartbreaking to put this review for tvs it has failed in the service expectations. I had logged the complaint about this bike on June 29 2024 it was just 7 months old when the LH TRIM AND RH TRIM were getting cracked. I called my dealer and made a note of it. They have failed to replace the parts to date I bought the bike from Mumbai and when purchased had they promised me that the service would be provided all over India I bought the bike in Udupi and found this crack occurred I also went to the Udupi tvs showroom they told they can't do above all they were asking to replace the parts with amount payment where else the crack on trim have been occurred due to negligence of the showroom which feeding the parts. Also when you call the customer service center they close the complaint even before it was attended. So funny when I called them they said the complaint was dissolved because we didn't answer the call when asked to check the call recorder they gave an old call recorder and tried to prove that we the customers were at fault. And so it is a closed horrible company and service center as well CEO and MD should give off their paper if they are not able to keep the customer happy.

Buying experience is okay. The riding experience is pathetic it looks okay performance is average. The mileage is 50 to 55 and under seat storage is good. The instrument cluster also looks good. Navigation isn't good.

I bought this from Aggarwal TVS Jagadhri. Its running is very smooth. Looks are so stunning & premium & its average is 43km/liter in local driving when you maintain a speed between 50-60. I always do its service after 2000kms. It's bigger & heavier than the Honda Activa but it's not suitable for a highly aged person.

The buying experience was excellent, and the TVS Shelar Sinhagad Road staff were accommodating.
The riding experience has been like a roller coaster, most of the time there is one or other serious issue with the scooter, but the ergonomic and ride quality are quite good.
Both looks and performance are very average, nothing to crib or bost about.
Servicing and maintenance is very high it's higher than my car.
Pros:- lots of useful features, smooth engine.
Cons:- Unreliable, had to use RSA 3 times in 2 years, side stand sensor malfunctioned from day one, have to change parts on regular basis, on two occasions almost met with an accident due to technical issues. Have tried contacting TVS about it but still no response from their end.

I purchased this vehicle from OM AUTO in the Pimple Saudagar, Chinchwad showroom about a year ago. From the very first service, I raised the issue of vibration with the showroom. To date, I have given my vehicle in for service four times, each time for around 5-10 days for a detailed inspection of the problem. Each time, the service center informed me that the R&D team inspected my vehicle and replaced parts like the rollers from the clutch, polished the fixed disc from the CVT, etc. However, the issue persists.
Additionally, within a year, my vehicle started having problems with starting. I had the throttle body replaced once, but there has been no improvement. My experience with the TVS team has been very disappointing. They acknowledged that there is a vibration problem with this TVS Jupiter 125cc vehicle, but to date, they have not shown enough enthusiasm to resolve this problem for customers.

Has lots of features
Look wise it looks great
The booth space is good
The engine makes noise while driving and doesn’t have a silent feature which is very irritating
The worst part is a Very low average of 30-32km in the city
The worst part Fuel tank never gets full as the new design

1. The vehicle was delivered within a single day. This was the only best thing since the last 9500 km. However, the accessories received were not up to the mark.
2. The vehicle runs smoothly even at 70 km/hr. And gives around 50 to 55 km/ltr when using only Shell petrol.
3. Now, after just 1000 km, the sounds from the front fork and rear break started. Now these two sounds are significant enough, that fellow riders on the road would look again at the vehicle. Even after regular servicing, the sounds keep coming.
4. The height of the vehicle is not suitable for persons below 5'4".
5. The pros I can say are the big space under the seat and the fuel tank that can accommodate 4 ltr.
6. The Cons are, heavier than others, the sounds in fork and rear wheel brakes are terrifying,

I bought this scooter 2 years ago because of its features like boot space and looks. But I regret buying this scooter. Lot of vibrations and you cannot travel on this bike peacefully your but rubs and your hands get cramps as well as your ears and legs. Worst built by TVs. I submitted my scooter to the workshop 3 times and they replaced clutch sets 3 times yet no resolution and they even couldn't figure out the resolution. Please test ride the bike at least 5 to 10kms then decide. I would not suggest this, better to go for a reliable bike present in the market. It contains hidden issues and most of them don't have a resolution if you buy it you have to bear it.

Do not purchase TVS Jupiter 125 smart connect, I purchased it on 21 July from Shubh Auto, Andul, Howrah. Today when I was going for the number plate, Jupiter was stopped in the middle of the road and not started. When the mechanic checked and said that the battery was discharged. It was shocking to me that the battery was discharged within 15 days. Upon contact, the Manager of Shubh Auto did not respond.
