I like the dual helmet space and I recommend people buy this bike on this budget. I recently bought this for my father. He has Activa 4g, He'll sell it soon. He has scooty driving experience. He never experienced any issues with his new Jupiter 125 Disk bike. The bike is looking good and the driving experience is also good.

  • TVS Jupiter 125: One of the Best in Its Segment!

    Suhas Shankar Gondukupi

Hey buddy, I’ve been checking out the TVS Jupiter 125, and I have to say—it’s definitely one of the best scooters in its segment! If you're considering a 125cc scooter, this one stands out with its practical features and value-for-money pricing.
It’s available in three variants—Drum (₹1,07,166), Disc (₹1,12,417), and SmartXonnect (₹1,19,983)—which makes it competitive against rivals like the Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125. What I really like is the easy access fuel lid at the front, so no need to lift the seat at fuel stations. Plus, the 33-liter under-seat storage is a game-changer—perfect for two half-face helmets!
The scooter runs on a 124.8cc BS6 engine, delivering 8.2 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque, which feels smooth and quick for city commutes. TVS has also ensured great comfort with telescopic front forks and a monoshock that make rides over rough roads much easier. The handling feels solid thanks to the 12-inch wheels.
Another cool thing is the USB charging port that comes standard, and if you go for the top-spec SmartXonnect variant, you’ll get Bluetooth connectivity too! Braking is handled well with a front disc/rear drum setup, or you can choose the all-drum version if you prefer.
Honestly, this scooter checks all the boxes—performance, comfort, storage, and convenience. If you’re in the market for a 125cc scooter, the Jupiter 125 is a solid choice and offers more than its competition at a similar price point.

New TVS Jupiter is continuing to set the bar high. They made their vision true - “Zyada Ka Fayda”. It has lots of space and design-wise also looks good. and with smart connect features, they killed others in the segments. you get what is promised. TVS can just think a bit about price, otherwise, overall it has everything to achieve 5-star ratings.

Good and required features were included with technology and good mileage and dimensions and ride comfort. In terms of looks, class look and it seems like an electric scooter and tail lamp and front Connecting DRL and with integrated indicators. The disc brake is also provided for better control while riding on rough roads and good stability more colors and mat and piano colors.

I was riding a Honda Activa for more than 20 years and then finally I decided to buy a new one. My first choice was Activa, but when I test-drove the TVS Jupiter 125 I just went ahead and booked the scooter. Have never regretted my decision. The best part is the comfort and the drivability. I will recommend this scooter.

It's exactly one year since we got the scooter. Religiously did all 3 services correctly...
On the second service, we observed the rear alloy wheel was making a sound and hence replaced under warranty.
Just some days before 3rd service found out the starting switch was not working properly and got it replaced under warranty.
3 services were carried out and since the scooter was completed one year ago, a PUCC test ( pollution control) was carried out and the result was 2.5 which is way far above. It should be less than. 5 carbon... Even the pollution control guy was shocked., a new bs6 scooter failing miserably.
Took the scooter to the service center and explained.
Kept the scooter there for 4 days... Fuel Sensor was replaced under warranty...
Again took the scooter pollution control and this time it was ok.. Less than. 5
But we noticed petrol consumption is very high. ( full tank petrol 5 ltr) and it is less than 100. The gauge which previous to servicing was showing 65 was now shuttling between ( when giving throttle it will show 30 to 34 and when we cut throttle it will show 65 - 70 )
Again took the scooter to a service station and they have been looking into it for the past 5 days!!!!
They already replaced the fuel injector and still, the reading jumping up and down. Now they will replace another part!!!
Also rattling from the front I told them for 2 services, but still, it's not ok.
I'm getting annoyed and I'm trying my best to calm down. Since I do have a car, I could manage without a scooter, whenever service people take a scooter for 3 to 4 days.
For an almost new scooter that runs only 2450 km in one year, this should not happen. Tvs are carrying out R & D on customer vehicles. Also at one time, the service guy said at least 5000kms should be run... Funny example!!!
In conclusion, I don't like the scooter.

It's heartbreaking to put this review for tvs it has failed in the service expectations. I had logged the complaint about this bike on June 29 2024 it was just 7 months old when the LH TRIM AND RH TRIM were getting cracked. I called my dealer and made a note of it. They have failed to replace the parts to date I bought the bike from Mumbai and when purchased had they promised me that the service would be provided all over India I bought the bike in Udupi and found this crack occurred I also went to the Udupi tvs showroom they told they can't do above all they were asking to replace the parts with amount payment where else the crack on trim have been occurred due to negligence of the showroom which feeding the parts. Also when you call the customer service center they close the complaint even before it was attended. So funny when I called them they said the complaint was dissolved because we didn't answer the call when asked to check the call recorder they gave an old call recorder and tried to prove that we the customers were at fault. And so it is a closed horrible company and service center as well CEO and MD should give off their paper if they are not able to keep the customer happy.

I bought this from Aggarwal TVS Jagadhri. Its running is very smooth. Looks are so stunning & premium & its average is 43km/liter in local driving when you maintain a speed between 50-60. I always do its service after 2000kms. It's bigger & heavier than the Honda Activa but it's not suitable for a highly aged person.
