I bought the TVS N-Torq Race Edition 2 and half years ago and it is pure joy to ride it. The peppy engine along with fat tyres gives you confidence similar to a motorcycle. The meter console is decent enough and provides all the necessary information at a glance. Ride quality is slightly on the hard side, unlike all other commuter scooters. The front disc is good, back drum brake needs some work. I have also driven it for occasional long-distance rides without a pillion. The mileage is on the lower side 35 to 38 kmpl compared to all other scooters in its segments. TVS Service is not up to mark, as I changed my service center after completing free services.

I bought this TVS NTORQ in August 2020.. never faced any problem till May 2024. One morning it didn't start, I took it to TVS SBM Motors Chennai. They said some wiring fault, rectified and gave back. Then within 20 days again same fault, they repaired and gave back saying that rat had cut the wire. Within 4-5 days again same problem didn't start, now they said full wiring harness has to be changed. It took 10 days to arrange and change wiring kit, also they changed Ignition coil and sensor. How all 3 items can become faulty same time. NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICES

Tips for other riders
To keep your TVS nTorq 125 in optimal condition, consider these maintenance guidelines: - Adhere to Service Schedules: Strictly follow the maintenance intervals and suggestions outlined in your owner's manual. - Engine Oil Replacement: Change your engine oil every 2500 kilometers or as advised by the manufacturer to maintain engine smoothness. - Tire Pressure Monitoring: Check tire pressure weekly and adjust accordingly based on weekly pressure loss. Correct inflation can enhance fuel efficiency and handling. - Fuel Level Management: Prevent potential harm to the fuel injection system by not letting the fuel level drop below two liters. - Riding Techniques: Employ gradual acceleration and aim for a steady speed. Minimize abrupt braking and unnecessary idling to save fuel. - Cleanliness: Regularly clean the scooter, paying special attention to the textured floorboard, to avoid dirt accumulation that could impact the scooter's components. - Component Inspection: Frequently check brakes, lights, and other essential parts . - Proper Storage: When the scooter is not in use, Park it in dry location to protect it from weather damage.
