Ridden for (If Owned) | 5000-15000 km |
Got mileage of | 38 kmpl |
Buying experience:I purchased this bike/scooter on april 28, the buying experience was great, hassle-free and quick. I took a test ride before and was impressed by its broad 12" tyres (both front and rear) which made sure the bike won't slip when braking at high speeds. Another thing that charmed my eyes was the look and lights.Riding experience:Smoother than activa 125 and active 4g/5g (have drove them all), it was even better than tvs jupiter which is considered the smoothest one. The front telescopic and rear hydraulic suspension makes sure you don't feel a jerk while riding. Braking is amazing with the 220mm disc brakes. Overall, i got no complaints about the riding.Details:1. Looks great and different, would stand out among the rest because of the dual tone and edgy design.2. Stylish rear headlights resembling an aircraft sheath.3. Halogen headlamp with drl white led which is another feature that makes it stand out.4. Fully digital meter with trip, lap, best ride and other loads of feature (best in its league).5. Sports mode and street mode.6. Amazing engine and engine sound, the only scooter with 3 valve engine (125cc).7. T-shaped rear red braking light, looks great.Servicing:All the services were great and i never faced any issue with the scooter.Just keep it clean and maintain a 24 and 36 psi tyre pressure on the front and rear tyre respectively.Pros:1. External fuel filling.2. 22l under-seat storage (largest in its segment).3. Broad 12" tyres, tubeless.4. Amazing disc brakes.5. Edgy grab rail and design.6. Dual tone colors.7. Broad seat.8. Oil heat level display.9. Low fuel reminder.10. Power and eco mode display.11. 125 cc engine with great power and torque.12. Least turning radius.13. Pass light.14. Engine on-off switch.15. Drl lamp.16. Two hooks provided for storage.17. Under seat light provided.18. Under seat charging facility.19. Bluetooth connectivity, displays time and helmet reminder.20. Last parked location feature.21. Auto choke.Cons:1. Seat could be more comfortable and soft.2. Leg space could be broader.3. Could provide a choke option along with the auto choke feature. There are really no cons considering the price and the super extra features you get. So,Value for money:10/10.
Tips for TVS Ntorq 125
1. Maintain a 24 and 36 psi tyre pressure for dual riders. 2. Keep the digital display clean. 3. Don't ride on 50+ speed for the first 1000 kms. 4. Don't ride on power mode for long. 5. Follow the instruction manual care tips.

Good Performance but comes with cost

The scooter is quite good. It has a massive pickup but drinks oil like no other. However, maintenance costs are much higher compared to other scooters in this price range. You will have a guaranteed engine breakdown after 5+ years or over 50000 km. Ntorq is great, but the handle is quite heavy, which makes it difficult in cities. The mileage drop is massive and parts are expensive. I spend around 4000 to 5000 on maintenance costs every 3 Months. Also after long use, the suspensions are not good and need to change. Overall you get performance but at a huge cost.

My Ntorq Xt is just 26000 km running 1.7 years. Now facing Engine issues

Within 6 months problems like no self-start working, the fuel injector had to be changed, and now after 25000km running issues like draining Engine oil issue, and Engine parts damage. Don't buy any TVS two-wheeler, especially Ntorq. Even the Service center doesn't have an answer and solution for some problems in Ntorq.

It's a good scooter. The mileage is around 40kmpl. not built for bad roads. The main cons are built quality and spare parts quality. Performance is best with roaring exhaust notes. You have to suffer from body noises while riding with low LED light visibility. Overall 3/5. Not meant for older citizens. Not reliable at all.

In simple words, this is a beast machine, and driving it is awesome. The built quality is really good. I have been riding this scooter for the last five months and have had no issues until now. Talking about mileage, mine gives around 35-40 km, which is good for me, and I love the sound of it. Overall performance is good. The sales team helped me with all the documentation, and the experience was nice. Enjoy riding.

Only buy it if you want to keep it for a year or two. High maintenance, need to change one way every year that costs 2000, got my engine seized with fuel injector after 35000km. The service center made a bill of 15 thousand even scooter was under warranty. I am so fed up with expensive parts and service. The only good thing is performance and satisfactory mileage.

Pros: Good handling and styling. Cons: Poor quality, and high maintenance costs. I rode my Ntorq for 60000 km after experiencing complete engine damage. I have to replace the accelerator cable every three months due to damage, and I encounter new problems every day. I would not recommend buying a TVS product; consider opting for another company. Please improve the quality of TVS products to avoid wasting money.

I bought the TVS N-Torq Race Edition 2 and half years ago and it is pure joy to ride it. The peppy engine along with fat tyres gives you confidence similar to a motorcycle. The meter console is decent enough and provides all the necessary information at a glance. Ride quality is slightly on the hard side, unlike all other commuter scooters. The front disc is good, back drum brake needs some work. I have also driven it for occasional long-distance rides without a pillion. The mileage is on the lower side 35 to 38 kmpl compared to all other scooters in its segments. TVS Service is not up to mark, as I changed my service center after completing free services.

Ntorq is one of the best-looking scooters. Performance is great, and the engine note imitating is music to ears.Handling is disappointing, suspension is poor. Even Yamaha ZR and Hero Maestro are ages ahead on these points. Now the most painful point is mileage. 4 liters of petrol runs only for 100kms in moderate traffic. I'm in a small town, there is never any traffic jam or slow traffic here. I'm unable to imagine mileage in city traffic with bumper-to-bumper traffic.Service centers of TVS are universally scam centers. I've moved to 3 towns it's the same problem all over.My good running Ntorq when I gave for normal service, they stole brake drums and put in old wored out drums which started squeaking from the same day. Even the service charge was 1200 which is high. Loose headlights complaint ignored.Later after one month, I had with same problems, they charged 2000 saying lot of work, but did not resolve any. Simply said change to new brake drums and change which switches panel. Total cost 3000. Total seamsters.I would avoid buying a TVS at least to avoid the scam service.

I have to replace the accelerator cable every three months due to damage, and I encounter new problems every day. I would not recommend buying a TVS product; consider opting for another company. Please improve the quality of TVS products to avoid wasting money.

Excellent Moto-Scooter

Good styling, average handling, pathetic mileage
