The scooty troubled me in starting with the starting problem. When this happened I struggled to take it to the showroom which is 50 km away from my village They said it was a battery problem and fixed that. Take care of battery problems and all over it is good. I liked it but keep colors extra in the showroom. Thankyou.

Tips for TVS Ntorq 125

Keep fuel above 1 litre .

I bought my NTORQ 2 years ago, I didn't find any problems except one issue that is if you give throttle aggressively an annoying sound will begin and the service people say to not give acceleration roughly. I loved the vehicle but I kinda faced discomfort with the service as their service was not so worth it.

  • Very bad quality spares of TVS service

    Vinay

Buying and riding experience is good for the daily commute,
Maintenance & servicing - my concern is all about the TVS spare parts that are added to this Ntorq 125, all most all the spare parts compromise 3000/7000 kms prior to their warranties I had to change the TVS tires due to their quantity it got faded just in 12000km which is actually to be at mim of 25000kms run, the CVT belt and rollers at 17000kms which actually to be at 24000km as per the given service manual, here I spent 11k just in two paid services after the free ones, which lost my trust on so-called genuine spare parts of TVS.

Pros and cons - TVS spare parts are not genuinely for its product support they can vain even more before their actual warranty, and the replacement costs are higher than the other Market prices (attached the samples for same)
I recommend if you already have a Ntorq look for some known service centers with relative spare parts at the market.
Hence I strongly not recommend Ntorq 125 and TVs motors for its after-sales services.

  • Good looking scooter in this segment

    Anshu Raj

Buying experience - I bought from Patna showroom it was easy to take a loan from tvs credit .
Riding - best in pickup, good exhaust sound,
Look - excellent, good performance but I have doubts about mileage it gives 30-35km only
Good service and maintenance, you have to pay for lube oil and other components during service they will only give free service on labor cost.
Pro- good look, good acceleration, bigger wheel, Bluetooth connectivity,
    Cons - mileage,
I will update after some months of use

  • Performance A1, Reliability sucks

    Amit Chaudhary

The buying experience was really good. Seamless. But that is expected after all they want u to buy their product.
    PROS:
The scooty looks awesome. (I Bought an SSE Wakanda one)
    Revving is awesome.
    Riding it fast feels good.
The exhaust sound attracted me to buy it.
    There are so many features.
The headlight on the high beam is very very good.
    Had really good servicing experience.
Runs smoothly even at very high speeds.
    Cons:
One week in, I noticed the accelerator could turn to the opp. side. I went to the service center & they told me that it is fine and all of the stores have that & assured me that it won't cause any issue.
One month in, I was going for a ride with friends 50 km away & the acceleration wire broke out of nowhere, very disappointing & unreliable.
In total 8 months, it has happened 2 times now.
If I complain to the service center, they say the design of the scooty is poor & the acceleration wire is small, that is the reason it breaks. I mean what the hell!
Thinking of selling & buying something else now.
    Other cons:
Stiff suspension. Not suitable for Bangalore roads lol.
    NOT RELIABLE
The mileage I got is: 30-35 kmpl only

  • TVS NTORQ Comfort and Convenience Review

    Tarun Pandey

The TVS NTORQ is a popular scooter, known for its sporty design, performance, and tech features. If you're considering buying one, here's a general overview of what you might experience during the buying process. Research the features such as the SmartXonnect system, Bluetooth connectivity, and other tech features. The NTORQ typically comes in several variants with different features.
This is a great opportunity to experience the scooter’s handling, comfort, and performance firsthand. You can negotiate the price, especially if you’re buying during a festive season or if the dealership has ongoing promotions. Ensure you get all the necessary documents such as the registration certificate, insurance, and warranty papers. The time taken for delivery can vary based on availability and customization. Ensure you confirm the expected delivery date.
The TVS NTORQ is designed to deliver a sporty and enjoyable riding experience. The scooter features a well-padded seat that offers good comfort for both the rider and the pillion. The riding position is upright and comfortable, which is ideal for city commuting and short to medium rides. The NTORQ is equipped with a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine that delivers brisk acceleration and responsive performance. The scooter offers quick acceleration, which is beneficial for merging into traffic and overtaking. The NTORQ can reach a top speed of around 95-100 km/h, which is adequate for urban commuting and short highway stretches. The NTORQ comes with telescopic front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension. The NTORQ features the SmartXonnect system, which includes Bluetooth connectivity. The NTORQ offers decent fuel efficiency for a scooter of its performance level, with mileage figures typically ranging between 40-50 km/l, depending on riding conditions and maintenance. The TVS NTORQ stands out with its distinctive looks and impressive performance, making it a popular choice among scooter enthusiasts.
The NTORQ has a sporty and aggressive design that appeals to younger riders. The rear section features a stylish LED tail lamp, giving it a modern and sharp appearance. The scooter is built with a mix of high-quality plastics and metal components. The NTORQ is powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It produces around 9.4 bhp (brake horsepower) and 10.5 Nm (Newton-meters) of torque, which is adequate for both city commuting and occasional highway rides. The suspension setup and seat design contribute to a comfortable ride over most surfaces. Servicing and maintaining your TVS NTORQ is crucial to ensure its longevity and optimal performance.
Typically recommended after 500-1,000 km or 1 month, whichever comes first. Regularly check and change the engine oil as per the service schedule. Inspect and clean or replace the air filter to maintain engine efficiency and performance. Regularly clean the scooter to remove dirt and grime. The NTORQ’s aggressive and sporty design, including sharp lines and bold graphics, appeals to a younger audience. While the NTORQ handles well on smooth roads, its suspension might feel a bit stiff on rough or poorly maintained surfaces, leading to a less comfortable ride.

    Tips for other riders

Proper maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your TVS NTORQ. Typically, the first service is recommended around 500-1,000 km, and subsequent services should be done every 3,000-4,000 km or every 6 months. Regularly check the engine oil level and quality. Check the air filter regularly, especially if riding in dusty conditions. Inspect the spark plug for wear or carbon build-up. Regularly check the brake pads for wear and replace them if they are worn out. Inspect the battery terminals for corrosion and ensure they are clean and tightly connected.

The light isn't that bright for long rides and highway rides at night had to add additional fog lamps for good visibility at night. I didn't get mileage above 50kmpl overall I got everyone is 42-43kmpl.

    Rikaz

Speed up to 107 kmhr. mileage 42-45kmpl in the speed of 60-70 km hr on single riding highways up to 49 kmpl speed 60-80.
The light isn't that bright for long rides and highway rides at night had to add additional fog lamps for good visibility at night. I didn't get mileage above 50kmpl overall I got everyone is 42-43kmpl.
