This is one of the most powerful 125 cc bikes, I am a great fan of this bike .... Cruising speed - 50-60 kmph Very comfortable for touring. If you want to go on a trip with this bike, believe me, you never felt disappointed with this machine. A legendary 125 cc bike tvs phoenix 125 . The top speed of this bike is almost 120 kmph. Please dear tvs company please launch this bike with bs6 engine...

Tvs phoenix - a pleasant surprise
Siddhartha Swarup Parida
I have owned my phoenix for nearly 8.5 years now at the time of writing this review. Yeah, took my time with it. Here is what I think of it.Pros1. Solid reliability with low running cost2. A full tank can easily last for 500-600 kms of mixed riding. I ride fast with always speeds above 60 kmph so that is my take.3. Great looks for a commuter4. Suspension is comfortable for longer rides5. You can do long-distance rides on it with significant luggage. I did a 850 km long journey with even mountains and long narrow back roads, this bike surprisingly held up well.6. Higher economy speed of 60kmph. Great for highway cruising.7. Lightweight so easily managed in city traffic.8. Tvs after discontinuing this still provide amazing service of this model and cheap too.9. Has a surprising top end for a 4-speed geared unit.10. Can be amusing to ride every time you get on it for it's quirky nature.Cons1. Desparately needed the 5th gear2. Lightweight means higher speed stability is a question of how efficient is your riding3. Lacks basic instrumentation like time or distance to empty even when it has a fully digital instrument cluster4. Vibrations are always persistent5. The sweet spot is 45 kmph which is not ideal for faster traffic conditions6. Has had historically better 125cc competitive from other companiesHaving said all these, after all these years of owning one, i enjoyed every bit of it as it is still my first ever ride. Tvs phoenix is a great blast from the good old days when motorcycling used to be fun and fuel prices weren't burning holes in everyone's pocket! cheers.

Tips for other riders
1. All weather tyres usually from Ceat help save fuel and are a great comfort to ride 2. Use synthetic High-end engine oil for better efficiency and performance 3. Don't ever rev it out, it's futile and very vibey.

Very good commuter bike. I like this bike Best cruising speed - 50-60 km/h. Mileage - 55-60 km/l. Good for long rides. Very good pic up Excellent engine power. Top speed approximate - 110-115 km/h.This is a very good bike. One of the best bike in 125 cc segment. Old is really gold. I like to inform TVs company to relaunched this bike with bs6 engine.
