Good bike, with a smooth ride, gives good mileage, is budget-friendly, and easy to maintain, it has a budget-friendly, low cost, beautiful body look, especially when riding on captcha, or bad roads balancing it is very easy due to its flexible body structure, long-distance riding body pains cannot be seen by riding this bike, I love this bike.

The best all-rounder bike, if you want power, is there. if you want mileage, is there (upto89) and if you want performance, is there? If you have any expectations on a 125cc bike, rider- TVS raider will meet all of them. I am driving it for 30,000KM still I have only spent for oil change alone. Low maintenance too.

  • 10000 km review of raider 125

    Noel Biju

The Raider 125 is a comfortable commuter bike with good suspension and almost plushy seats. Tho it'll give a considerable wrist pain in a long ride due to the handlebar vibrations. Tho I do not feel a lot of difference between it's eco mode and power mode there is a little difference in pickup. It has auto turn off feature to save petrol while in traffic. The auto turn off feature works about after 5 seconds of idleing in gear. I like the one touch start option that comes with it. Though it doesn't come with abs as standard it's brakes are good nonetheless. The gear shifting is fine and all but sometimes the tire may get locked up. The middle stand of the bike is annoying at times as it has a tendency to hit some high bumps when the speed is a little high. Also the ground clearance is a bit low when carrying a pillion with considerable weight.the front brake comes disc and it has considerable bite too. With its weight being low and seat height also being low it is a great option for city rides and daily commuting. It's easy to drive in traffic and easy to maneuver too. The initial delivery experience was poor as when we took delivery of the bike and went home the side stand sensor had been faulty and it had been causing the bike to turn off while riding. Though they had changed the sensor free of cost as it had to be taken to the service centre the day of the delivery it was an exhaustive experience. It is a decent bike I would say and I would recommend it for people with daily short commutes. Also it is not advisable to fit phone mount on the raider as due to the vibs the phone Mount may become loose and can result in phone falling to the ground. If you are going for a phone mount do consider some quality ones over the cheap ones. The milage is good even after rash driving it considerably. The display is okay though we cannot change the tripper dash and stuff while the bike is running. It has a great sound which is also a plus point

    Sharath S Nair

This bike is value for money as it has a good mileage at between 45 - 55 km/l if driven carefully it can give an average of more than 60 km/l. Most of all the average depends on the person who is riding the bike. The comfort on this bike is a little above average as it is comfortable for medium-distance rides but the longer you drive the more you start to get uncomfortable. As I experienced after about 40 - 50km your wrist starts aching with a little bit of back pain. Other things about this bike I noticed are the headlight is not that bright and design-wise it gives a sporty look and is easy to ride.

  • Better Power with good Milage and Value for money

    Srikanta Chakraborty

Buying experience- Tvs staffs are very humble and knowledgeable and they suggest to me according to my requirements though I have already prepared to buy this.
Looks- Very decent and stylish look. Idle for office goers and family purposes as well.
Performance- Here I don't talk about its specs it is available on the page. When I took my first test drive one particular word came from my mouth " WOW". I love its exhaust note. I've completed many long rides nonstop like Surat to Mt Abu around 550 km with pillion no issues. When it runs between 75-87km speed the bike gives a buttery smooth performance. I'm very much satisfied with its performance and thanks to the TVS Engineering team for making such a wonderful bike
Cons- The bad thing is its rear suspension. when the pillion sits on the suspension sink and stuck its double stand on the road speed breaker. This is very annoying.
Tips- Many people say it gives 45-55 km/l milage. But it gives me 65-67 kmpl and highway 54-56 km/l. Hyper rider results in moderate mileage. If you want good mileage you have to ride very smoothly with no sudden pickup and breaks. Reset the average meter and drive on 5th gear around 3500-4000 rpm then see the result

  • One of the greatest mistake of my life to buy this bike

    Dinesh Gope

Very low mileage in comparison to what the company claimed
You have to change the battery after one year because the company uses a very ordinary battery. The break creates a very loud sound. Power is gradually decreased. Very poor performance not comfort for a long journey. High maintenance charges. Chain sprocket issue.

The looks of the bike are good but some things can be better like the speedometer lags showing the bike is in 2nd gear even if it is in neutral rear brakes can be better and and kick start would not hurt bike fuel cap is a little hard to handle indicators are so fragile like it breaks with a smallest push or collision it's annoying.

  • If you any expectation on 125cc bike, rider- TVS riders will meet all that.
