Reviews of TVS Raider 125

I was using suzuki gixxer sf 150cc bike since 4 years & now I changed over to new red color rider 125cc which is fabulous in design & looks. Also I would like to thank TVS R&D people for understanding customers requirements & implementing it with latest bs6 3 valve engine which i find most economical for good mileage in sports segment bike with eco & power modes. I mostly like its
1) front led lights which has good visibility at night riding.
2) It has been provided with usb charging port for long riders.
3) one of the best sound of engine i have heard till date in 125cc.
4) it is provided with more ground clearance then Honda, suzuki with split seat option for mobile & valet storage.
5) Smooth riding experience without jerk & feels comfortable for back seat person while riding due to monoquoqe suspension.

Good bike, with a smooth ride, gives good mileage, is budget-friendly, and easy to maintain, it has a budget-friendly, low cost, beautiful body look, especially when riding on captcha, or bad roads balancing it is very easy due to its flexible body structure, long-distance riding body pains cannot be seen by riding this bike, I love this bike.

I bought at a reasonable price of 120000 compared to other brands it has the best price tvs raider. The riding experience was excellent when going alone but you feel uncomfortable when ladies sat on one side of the rear seat. Coming to looks, you get the look of a sports bike and racer book, the bike won't shake at all when you ho on 100, 105. Service is good and maintenance is too low.
Pros
Led light, charger port, eco and power mode, mileage, stand indication, digital meter
Cons
Low ground clearance.

Everything is fine except self-start with me, it starts with one touch, but when I stop (turn off the ignition) or it bike stop due to higher gear in low rpm, it's difficult to re-start, it may take 4, 5 self to start again,
It happens many times, in city traffic, I have to push a bike with my hand to move.
Handle vibration on 60, after 30km ride I can't feel my finger due to vibration. 55kmph or less and 80kmph or high are safe (less vibration).
visited 3 times 2 service centers of tvs nothing fixed, still facing the same.
Handling, seating, look and feel is best as per 125cc bike.

Mixed experience:
1. Buying experience was nice, bought it on EMI, and it was super easy to connect with the salesman at the Horamavu TCS showroom. Got the delivery within 2 days. 5 stars for buying experience.
2. I was amazed by the kinda performance it was showing initially on a such low 125CC bike and was all praising but after driving it for 1100 km in Bangalore traffic, I would rate 3, for power as it vibrates after reaching 60-65 km. I drive around 50 km up & down daily to & fro the office (KR PURAM - Diary circle - one of the busiest traffic in Bangalore) Fuel average is 48-49kmp. Easy to ride within the city.
3. Look is good, though the headlight look could've been better.
4. 1st service had cost 800 change, looks like gonna have frequent service requirements.
Pros:
Light weight easy to maneuver within such a busy city like Bangalore.
Mileage though was committed of around 60kmp but 48-49 is still fine
Cons:
Major cons vibrations after reaching 60-65kms
The electronic features such as gear indicator, fuel gauge, and full tank to zero are inaccurate.
Have smart ideal stop if vehicle ideal for 3-4 seconds but this doesn't always work so an engine kill switch should've been better in Bangalore conditions.
Overall it is okay with this price range except for the vibration.

I brought my tvs raider from kottyam tvs the staff was polite and friendly the bike riding experience is fun you would like to ride it good pickup comfortable aggressive riding style instrument cluster is rich with information and statistics rich and the best part is fuel consumption the bike provided me a mileage between 60 to 65 after second service I believe it would give me more anyway I am happy with the bike a great head Turner.

Best in the 125cc segment. Looks, performance, mileage, and maintenance, everything is good. I have driven 11800 km and completed 3 services, till now I haven't faced any problem. Coming to the mileage I got 67kmpl including both city traffic and highway (mileage depends on riding style) overall I was satisfied with my bike. Before buying this bike I used to see many reviews of this bike and I didn't believe some points, but now I have experienced what I didn't believe before. I recommend this Raider 125 to those searching for the best in this segment. Just give a try to this bike really it surprises you.
