Piaggio India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the BS6-compliant Vespa Notte 125cc scooter. The updated, BS6-compliant 125cc, single-cylinder, three-valve motor with a fuel injection system produces 9.78bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 9.6Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. In comparison, the BS4 variant of the Notte 125 made 10bhp and 10.6Nm.
The changes are limited to mechanical upgrades. The styling, on the other hand, remains unchanged. Thus, the BS6-compliant Vespa Notte retains a matte black paint along with a retro design. The scooter continues to use a round headlight at the front, round-shaped rear-view mirrors, curvy body panels, and a flat saddle.
The anchoring hardware on the Vespa Notte BS6 continues to use a 149mm front drum brake and 140mm rear drum brake. A front disc brake is not available even as an option. The safety net includes CBS tech as standard. The shock absorption duties are handled by a single sidearm front suspension with Anti-Dive Characteristics and dual-effect hydraulic rear shock absorber.
Vespa Notte is available in the following colours in India.

Dream became regret

I was a great fan of vespa. Based on my own vespa sxl 125 on 2018. This is my 3rd scooter. Riding is okay but I feel the chance of falling to grip is higher, and very poor suspension system. Cracked the body part 2 times without any reason, fuel meter not working properly, noise from the engine side, etc. Within one year. I had so many bad experiences with dealers and their services like never before from other company dealers. Don't even think about buying it, listen to me otherwise, you will regret it very badly like me!

Elegant quick powerful - Italian heritage at its best.

I bought a used vespa notte and not a new one as I'm moving abroad in august 2021, and I just needed a scooter for daily and weekly errands. I'll be giving this scooter to my friend once I leave India. I got it for cheap, only cost me 50k which is almost half of it's current price. It's an amazing scooter, definitely a head turner. 9 times out of 10, people will look at it and stare at the elegant Italian design. I was waiting for the primavera to be launched in India, but it's too late now so I decided to get this one. Service experience was fairly good, cost isn't too high to maintain as others say (maybe that's because there are 2-3 service centers within 20 km from my place) The position of sitting is amazing and convenient for people of all heights. Generic scooters like activa / Jupiter have a low seat-to-floor height. Vespa and aprilia have a longer seat-to-floor height which is much more comfortable and does not feel like you are crouching on the scooter. Ride quality and build quality are superb. The scooter feels absolutely premium, as if it's the Ferrari of scooters. Acceleration is quite good even though its 125cc, although the suspension can get wobbly sometimes and feel like you're about to fall off if you take on bumps at a high speed. But it's really reliable Brakes lack any bite at all, you will never feel the brakes being applied on this scooter. It's almost an advantage as much as it is a disadvantage. Whenever I apply the rear brakes, it is an ultra-smooth reduction of speed and I feel absolutely nothing unlike other scooters that give jerks when you brake. Front brakes have some bite to them but still are very very smooth. Be careful, smooth brakes aren't always an advantage, they can lead to an accident. I do frequent oil changes and tyre's pressure checks and use Indian oil Xtra premium petrol which gives me a mileage of about 42-50 km/l. Probably higher on highways. Friends have suggested to use shell petrol for even more mileage and smooth combustion. All in all, it is the perfect package for a scooter. It has the best styling - retro look which is much better than the wacky straight lines of generic scooters. It has a very premium feel to it. It is a legacy. The vespa badge is one of the most renowned and famous badges in the world Go for it, you will own a piece of Italian legacy.

Amazing riding experience
Prateek
It is a classic scooter with good riding comfort and decent look. Brakes are amazing and at high speed, it is very much stable. I found the mileage is more than 45km per lt. ( because i check type pressure and engine oil regularly). From my 25 years of scooter riding experience, i can say it is a good product to purchase. Note:- vespa should improve its service network.

Poor engine and service quality
Latif
The engine quality and service quality is very very poor at guwahati, assam. My two months old vespa notte 125 stopped in the middle of the road twice during this two months and i have to reach home by walking. I will suggest not to buy this scooter for daily basis. Look is average but it is very light at front side.

Stylish and attention seeker

Abhijeet Sharma
Looks and performance is really awesome. All black edition is an attention seeker. Amazing to drive, but after sale service is not up to mark. Combi braking system shouldn't be in this price and also the speed it generates. Disc brake is much needed. Can't put on emergency stop with combi braking system. Otherwise a very good scooter for daily routine.
