  • Yamaha aerox 155 - disappointed with the rear suspension. Stiff like a rock.

I own a Yamaha aerox. Very disappointed with the rear suspension. Stiff like a rock...Beware you can easily suffer a spine injury. Don't know if Yamaha engineers have tested this for Indian road terrain. If they have & find it suitable, then they are not fit to be called engineers.

  • A power packed maxi bike

    Jacob Emmanuel

A maxi that most scooter lovers would have been waiting for. Starting with the engine, the 155cc pushes you further and it loves to rev. The r15-derived engine speaks for itself. You may not use it for a grocery shop ride (i don't use it personally) but this sweetheart is more of a bike than a scooter. Its stylish seating and impeccable dynamics add to the charm of this machine. Well, initially, you'll be directed to keep speeds upto 60kmph, but after a couple of services you can test it out for the top speed and performance. It's been great so far. The mileage is around 35-40 but comes on, as mentioned earlier, it's a sporty maxi that you can hop on even for your long drives.

  • Amazing maxi powerful machine

    Vishal Yadav

This is really an amazing scooter, I was waiting for it since 3 years. It was not launched in India because of that I have to purchase Aprilia sr 150 which is also a great scooter. Now it's time to take this scooty at home.
The real maxi powerful machine in India is better than most of the bike in term of space, comfort, easy ride on highway and in city, no worries to shift gears.

  • Coolest scooter !!

    Vikram

It was a good buying experience overall.
While I was buying on road price was 163,000 where I found it a bit expensive but yeah when u ride u will forget all, the performance and pick up which this gives is un comparable with other scooters easily goes 100-110 without any struggle, damn those looks whenever I stand in signals most of the eyes are here!so far more than 20 random people asked me for the details abt this. Service is quite affordable around 600 bucks.
    Pros:- looks,performance,r15engine,
Cons:-poor rear shocks,5.5l fuel tank, no aftermarket parts, even your tyre is worn-out you need to import as of now but in upcoming months things will change as the sales of aerox are high in numbers.
Overall not a family scooter but yes if someone like me looking for a difference with no compromise in performance it will be good to go.
    Happy riding.

Had a very good buying experience. The day I saw the launch event of this bike(i say bike because it does give you motorcycle feel), and fell in love. Then I went to showroom to check out this beast and one thing was sure that this bike has very good road presence. It's big, attracts alot of eye balls. People stopped in traffic to ask which bike this. Riding experience is really good. It's kind of stiff but you won't have any problem. In highway this bike flies. The performance is so good. You won't feel guilty in any way. In terms of looks this is the best looking motorcycle out there.. No doubt.. Had one service and it wasn't costly at all. Cost me in total of about 600rs. The only cons i feel is the not good panel for petrol filler. And the charging port cover isn't good. That's only cons in my opinion. And people who are saying it has only 5.5l tank, so what.. If you ride properly it will give you around 40kmph mileage. Which is far better when you keep things in mind that this is 155cc motorcycle..

    Prasanth V

I am Prasanth, living in Chennai. I have been the proud owner of my Light Fury (Aerox 155) for the past year. Performance and power deliverance. Best bike for the long run. Good looks and style.
Service experience is not good. Vibration during slow start. Pros: it is one of the best bikes in the long run.
The best mileage after riding the bike is between 60 to 90.
    DLR looks too good.
Performance and power delivery are good.
Control during top speed is good.
Cons: Overall weight is less which reduces the speed during high wind in highways.
The rear suspension is too hard for a single-person

Change oil for every 2500KMs. check for lubrication service center may leave as it is. Extra coating cost 650/ coat it is not worth as they tell. Rear suspension is still hard after 10000KMs. Paint peel off at certain parts. apply PPF coating for tank parts and front mask. Maintain speed between 60 to 80 to get better milage.

  • Beast of a Machine

    Prathamesh Pagare

You'll hear that the Aerox is among the most fun scooters people have ridden, even some claim that it's better than riding their bikes. How true is that? Here are my first impressions of my Aerox 155 (2024 model)
ODO: 855KM (16 days after purchase)
Comfort - The seat is comfortable, and the side footrest which seems to be a confusing factor for many, let me assure you your feet will stay planted on it quite easily. The issue begins when you talk about how tall you are, if you're over 5'9, good luck as you will feel cramped due to the spacing between the front seat and the front body.
Cruising speed - I don't go too hard just yet, max I've done is 70-80, pulls it off very beautifully thanks to VVA. Stays extremely stable. Regarding heat, maximum stress etc I'll have to answer that later.
Suspension in the city - Feel bumps/undulations like crazy. Potholes are a nightmare. Speedbreakers are manageable 90% of the time. Going at high speeds and turning corners, the stiff rear helps you stay stable. The real issue is when you add a pillion. The rear shows its stiffness and the front shows its short travel time even harder with a pillion. My girl hates riding with me but loves how smooth and stable it is when she rides it herself.
Plastic Quality - Amazing. New to the riding world but I often heard Yamaha's quality is superb and it shows. Exceptions: Cheap flexible plastic panels for the fuel tank and charging socket. The charging panel is especially annoying to shut down sometimes. Very silly to fiddle with it after paying a fortune for this.
Overall, I love this scooter to bits! It's my first purchase and first foray into the riding world, and I couldn't be having more fun. It is on the pricier end, but worth it if you've set your sights on this machine. Otherwise, you can wait for the upcoming Hero Xoom 160 and then compare.

    Hisham Fazeel

  • The bike with power of pulling eyeballs.

    Hisham Fazeel

  • My Light furry

    Tips for other riders
