Reviews of Yamaha Crux

1. Solid built body, very sturdy (ideal for bad roads).

2. Power is good (due to light weight).

3. Acceleration is good (due to light weight).

4. Headlight is very good.

5. Battery is not maintenance free.

6. Suspension is okay (could have been better).

7. Seat is straight and long (most ideal for a family man).

8. Gear shifting is smooth.

9. Engine is very refined (the sound of the engine is very smooth, very different from other 100cc 4 stroke bikes)

10. Upto 90 kmph no vibrations at all (beyond that one can feel slight vibrations).

11. My top speed on a straight/plain highway was 95.

12. Spoke rim wheels are old fashioned (but they are way better than "cast alloy wheels" in the case of extreme bad roads and rural roads).

13. In city & highway, spoke rim wheels become a huge burden when the tube inside gets punctured or deflated (happened many times).

14. The front tyre 2.50 x 18 is very thin. Leads to less grip (have a tendency to skid on rainy days and on wet tram lines of kolkata streets).

15. Mileage is 62 in my case (city congestion riding) and 73 (if altogether on highway maintaining at 45-50kmph).

16. Fuel meter is absent, not an issue for me (reserve fuel is 2 ltrs = 124kms in hand to reach the next petrol pump).

17. Long ride (>150kms) is not an issue except the back pain (should halt for some 9-10 mins after every 50kms, good for the engine and the rider).

18. Very much maintenance free and easy to maintain bike. Spares of this bike are cheap.

19. It is for commuting from one place to another. Not a performance oriented or a street racer.

20. Look is classic with chrome finishing (personally i like this look as i am an rx enthusiast and a proud owner of yamaha rx 135 5-speed version).

Using crux from 5 years, no issues yet. I had tvs 125cc earlier for 6 years. The crux is very best who look for efficiency, less maintainers , rough and tuff drivers. Though it is not a high speed bike, its a super performer for low budget peoples. Till today if i fill up 350 rs petrol in bangalore it will travel around 315 kms !!!!. Never break down till now. Parts are also available. I am very happy with it. Its parts are also rustles unlike other brands i have seen after one year. I appreciate yamaha for this bike.

I was purchased this bike in 2016 as per my own riding experience on Yamaha crux is extremely good. Fuel consumption is also less than others if compared with contemporary brands bikes. Yamaha was amazing bike highly recommend all to bike if available to you. Even second hand also can also be privileged to buy.

I owned this bike in 2009. Very convenient bike for city and commuting for 150-200 kms. It never make any big hole on my pocket. After covering near to 90,000 kms, i changed the front original tyre, for a major puncture. It gives a decent 56-58 kms in city and for a long run ,near to 60 kms. Thanks to yamaha for a superb invention. Plan to go for a saluto if i get a best bargain!!

Very much interested to say that this bike should not be stopped. Bcoz I use to go rides for a day cause for my family matters. Usually up and down 600kms does the bike. Frank to say that its worthy, excellent and great. Also well maintained one gives you extra pleasure . Good for offroading too I have done it once. Excellent machine yamaha crux.

I buy crux 2014.Now km34320 i use this no problem and ride with confidence.. 24900km i changed chain sprocket and 29188km i changed rear tyre..After 2.5years change battery .Its my overall replacement of this bike in 5 years. 45-55km speed i am maintaining gives 62-68kmpl... 75kmph without vibration max 94kmph it was achieved.. Yamaha crux is good bike for in this category.. And another one main information i am servicing my bike in local mechanic.. Yamaha service station is not good.. Thank you.

it's great on all aspects but in comfort zone it lacks but otherwise it's a paisa Vasool my uncle owned this bike great bike engine and parts reliability is great and I shocked my uncle will not service he only changes the engine oil and necessary things but the bike runs as new Yamaha need to bring this bike to India mileage is good we got either 60 in city 65 in highway.
