Buying experience is good, looks are killer as well as ride quality is phenomenal and the most importantly servicing cost is very less. And this is very low maintenance bike as well But the only cons is ( top speed )the only thing yamaha have to improve on fz series is power And the top speed because when we are on highway we want top speed but bike does not support us.

Being an owner and riding for 3months(2700km). I'm sharing my personal opinion: Pros: 1)looks and style -naked and perfect in this segment.2) mileage- 55-60 km. 3)good for the daily commute.4) handling and riding posture great.5) refined engine – the 149cc engine comes with blue-core technology, refining the engine for optimum city performance and keeping mileage levels up at all times. Cons -1) underpowered – the weight is a positive feature (137 kg) for city use but maximum power and torque of just 13.2 hp and 12.8 nm means weak top-end performance. The bike struggles to reach 100 kph when riding with a pillion and top speed is achieved with a lot of struggle.2)

    pros:
    1-ABS ,braking gives you confidence
    2-engine is smooth
3-New version has a aggressive sporty look
4- maintenance is not high , a simple 300rs engine oil and few parts extra .which is not going to cost you more than 500rs
    cons:
1-engine power, according to city or daily purpose it is good when we talk about over taking it performance is low
2-over priced according to these segments bike
3- service centre are not well maintained by oswal dealers in delhi (location sant nagar)
you feel that it's better to take your bike and find some other options
4-staff behaviour, they are just sitting there to just sell the product and their responsibility is finished, they are not building customer relationship.

Its my dream bike ,i am riding my bike daily, its been 6 month and more, it gives good experience and there is no problem till now.The muscular look of the bike is most attractive , getting mileage above 55km/hr. It's really an awesome experience. The maintenance cost is really low. The extra fitting in muscular part is not much better , need to improve that part.

  • The best commuter bike

    Joshua Michael

Pros:-1. Comfortable for riding, even for long rides.2. The braking system is really good.3. Best for city traffic.4. Gives good mileage.5. Handling is really good.6. Pickup is very good
Cons:- previously Fzs was a sports commuter, but recently Yamaha launched the mt-15. So to stop having a competition between Fzs and mt-15, Yamaha decided to change Fzs from sports commuter to a normal commuter. So, the newer versions are slower than the older versions.1. The fuel tank material is made up of fiber.2. The headlight has enough power to light up the road, but not so powerful compared to other bikes.3. The top speed is a bit low overall it's the best commuter bike and it will be reliable for more years if you maintain it properly.

Detailed knowledge is better than that of buying experience . The new fz s v3 is good in appearance that was fabulous . Design of tank, head light , and tail lamp are more beautiful . Specially the seat , single seat is more comfort for riders and second person( specially ladies) . Engine side is also good bcs of yamaha . Good mileage of 45 km/l . Clutch and gears are smooth( from the review of test drivers ). One minus is price , that is little too compare with other 150 cc bikes.

  • It is good only for short period of time

    Chiranjit Ghosh

    Pros
    Looks good, it comfortable riding
    Cons
Less power, is not durable, the handlebar is easy to break, short passage for pillion driver, cant does not take much load, if you had an accident the bike would crash very easily, fuel tank gets loose with time, it would remove from the body... A fiber fuel tank is the worst thing....

  • Worth buying fz

    Arindam Sahay

Buying experience is good, looks are killer as well as ride quality is phenomenal and the most importantly servicing cost is very less. And this is very low maintenance bike as well But the only cons is ( top speed )the only thing yamaha have to improve on fz series is power And the top speed because when we are on highway we want top speed but bike does not support us.

My favorite bike I ever used was this one. I thought it was the best decision of my life. If any one ask to me. I would recommend it In this range it's really superb and great. Mileage is awesome. I get 52 km per litre. Its also comfortable family bike giving best riding position. I am so happy with my bike. Yamaha is great because their service and product is too good.

    Akshay Matade

  • Overall for a city purpose bike

    Abhay
