Got mileage of | 45 kmpl |
Pros : 1. Good looks 2. Latest design 3. Lower price than latest edition of fz s v3 . (while the only difference in both is silver design at tank. 4. Still more attractive than fz s v3. Especially black color.Cons :1. Not much if you are not in love with the latest design of fz s v3. (silver design on tank).Note: i am comparing fz v3.0 v/s fz s v3.Bcas if anyone want to save some money and still want the latest design, going for fz v3.0 is always a good choice.

Amazing low end torque.

Amazing low-end torque, unlike most similar other bikes, FZ has high initial torque and goes from 0 to 60 in 5 seconds but the problem is it tops at 110 kmph (if you are alone and have to push after 100, but if there are 2 people, then you have to push after 90 to go to top speed). Refined engine, no noise, no vibration. low weight also easy to ride around in traffic and easy to do cornering. Beginner-friendly bike. Service and spare parts are overpriced.

Power packed despite small engine

150cc is generally a smaller engine but with Yamaha that's not the case. With the right fuel and oil, the bike performs amazingly well. It's great in terms of handling because of the thick rear wheel and front disk brake. Maintenance wise it isn't much costly. I have regularly changed the oil which costs 250-350rs and regular services anywhere outside of the showroom would cost 200-300RS

I bought this bike in September 2023. Completed 5500km till now. Gone for a long ride and off-road rides as well. Let me share some pros and cons.Pros: 1. The engine is excellent. It's a Japanese engine and there is no way I can doubt it. I have achieved 103kmph top speed till now. Could have achieved more but due to the lack of an empty road, was unable to achieve it. 2. Breaking is amazing. The ABS saved me so many times from fatal accidents. Rare engine braking is good too. 3. The tyre pressure and quality are nice. It's a radial tyre and it helps to control the bike smoothly. The rare wide type gives an amazing grip on the road. 4. Exhaust sound is bold. It suits the bike.5. The clutch works like butter. The mileage I get is 45-48 on the local streets and 55 on long roads. Cons:1. The tank quality is really poor. Even if it is fibre, you can tap it with your 1 finger and it will bend and come back to normal.2. The provided leg guard from the Yamaha showroom is pathetic. It will bend even if you hit it with a cricket bat. 3. The silver colour plate right beside the gear paddle (life side) and right beside the break paddle (right side) will make your shoe black. Because the silver plate releases a black colour once your toe touches it while applying the break or changing the gear. 4. The bike will start vibrating once you cross 63kmph speed on your speedometer. You can not watch anything on the rare view mirror properly after crossing 70kmph5. Yamaha used to provide back tyre leg guards with BS4 engines. Now they provide half mud guard which makes the bike dirty right below the pillion seat. If anyone sits on the pillion seat during the rainy season, their pant will get dirty for sure Rest, the bike is amazing. Best for long rides and senior persons can also sit on it. I chose Yamaha instead of Hero, TVS and Bajaj because of engine reliability and service.

The buying experience was good; the dealer provided the bike on time.Big tires give a steady riding experience. The bulky tank gives a sporty look.Mileage is also between 45-50 based on riding. One servicing mechanic did even bother to listen to my request for suspension adjustment he told me there is not any setting.Pros-Sporty lookBig tires steady rideSometimes exhaust feels good.Mileage Cons-Fiber quality was not good even after a single-handed decent use tank cover lock was broken.Fiber quality is not good and gets scratched easily.Low-quality paint on the brake and clutch lever. The main dislike of bikes is the rear suspension, I sometimes feel like riding bicycles that hard it is.With pillion suspension works but in the single seat it is worse. For suspension, I am regretting to buy this and I will not recommend it to anyone.

The Yamaha FZ series has long been a staple in the naked bike category, offering a blend of performance, style, and reliability. The latest iteration of the Yamaha FZ continues this legacy, making it a compelling choice for both novice and experienced riders.Design and Build QualityThe Yamaha FZ boasts an aggressive and muscular design, characterized by its sharp lines and sculpted bodywork. The bike's bold fuel tank, sleek headlamp, and minimalistic rear end give it a contemporary look that stands out on the road. The build quality is solid, with high-grade materials and a finish that speaks to Yamaha's attention to detail.Engine and PerformanceAt the heart of the Yamaha FZ is a refined 149cc or 249cc engine (depending on the model), known for its smooth power delivery and impressive fuel efficiency. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox that offers precise and smooth shifts. The bike delivers a balanced performance, with enough power for spirited city riding and sufficient torque for a comfortable highway cruise.Ride and HandlingThe Yamaha FZ excels in the ride and handling department. The diamond-type frame provides a sturdy foundation, while the front telescopic forks and rear mono-shock suspension ensure a smooth ride over various road conditions. The bike's low center of gravity and lightweight design make it incredibly nimble, allowing for easy in tight city traffic and confidence-inspiring stability on open roads.Braking and SafetyEquipped with disc brakes at both ends and optional ABS, the Yamaha FZ offers strong and predictable braking performance. The bike's braking system provides excellent feedback and ensures safety in emergency braking situations. Additionally, features like wide tires and a well-cushioned seat enhance rider comfort and safety.Features and TechnologyThe Yamaha FZ comes with a digital instrument cluster that provides all the essential information at a glance, including speed, fuel level, trip meter, and more. The LED headlamp and tail lamp offer superior visibility and a modern aesthetic. The bike also features a sporty exhaust note that adds to the overall riding experience.Fuel EfficiencyOne of the standout aspects of the Yamaha FZ is its fuel efficiency. The bike's engine is tuned for optimal fuel consumption, making it an economical choice for daily commuting. Riders can expect impressive mileage, which is a significant advantage in the current economic climate.

Amazing low end torque.
Rahul R
Amazing low-end torque, unlike most similar other bikes, FZ has high initial torque and goes from 0 to 60 in 5 seconds but the problem is it tops at 110 kmph (if you are alone and have to push after 100, but if there are 2 people, then you have to push after 90 to go to top speed). Refined engine, no noise, no vibration. low weight also easy to ride around in traffic and easy to do cornering. Beginner-friendly bike. Service and spare parts are overpriced.

Power packed despite small engine
Abhishek Kothari
150cc is generally a smaller engine but with Yamaha that's not the case. With the right fuel and oil, the bike performs amazingly well. It's great in terms of handling because of the thick rear wheel and front disk brake. Maintenance wise it isn't much costly. I have regularly changed the oil which costs 250-350rs and regular services anywhere outside of the showroom would cost 200-300RS

Excellent bike

I bought this bike on 11/01/2024 with an EMI of Rs.20k down payment with BOI bank. If talk about riding it a very comfortable in the long run average is also good around 42-48 km per liter. About looking it looks decent in this price range performance is also good. I get 2 free services from the companyPros - I like about Yamaha it is very stable while riding also breaking system is good for this price rangeCons - Nothing much but yes Yamaha can give more colors on FZ

Sporty look but hard suspension
Amit

Don't buy in mandya showroom. They espect more than 5k compare to other outlets..They charge 141000/- but we got receipt for just 130k.We completely disappointed for there response after buying. They are not ready to give receipt for paid amount. We just frustrated by asking bill every time but we failed to claim our rights. Kindly take appropriate steps to build trust
