I have been using this bike for 3 years now and this is my honest opinion of it. Firstly the most important aspect of this bike is it's value for money proposition. It is not just the cheapest 250cc bike but also very pocket friendly in terms of service and maintenance. The highlight of this bike is it's bullet proof engine. Surely it is not the fastest nor the most refined engine but is does it's job very well 99% of the time. You can be sure that this engine won't leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere. I used to own a pulsar ns200 before and every time before planning a trip i had to check its oil and coolant levels and in spite of every precaution you could still end up with some very difficult situations. With the fz 25 I don't have to worry about all that. You just have that peace of mind trusting the Japanese reliability. Also the handling and suspension are good enough if not the best. The thing about fz 25 is that is was made as a practical bike for all purposes and that it has a engine that is good for city and highway, suspension that is decent for handling but also provides comfort, brakes that are potent enough but lack that sharpness. So this bike will do everything you want it to do well enough at the cost of not being the best in any particular thing. The cons of the bike are noticed only when you spend time with it- the harshness of engine above a particular speed, a feeling of instability at higher speeds. These are very minor issues and can be lived with but one thing you should know before buying is that if you are an experienced rider then you will get bored of this bike very easily that is it does not excite you and its not because of the power, it has more to do with the engine character which feels very commuter friendly. I recently rode a gixxer 250 and it blew me away. Although the performance is on par with the fz 25 the gixxer just feels more better at everything be it accelerating, cornering or braking. It makes you heart race which the fz 25 fails after a period of time. All in all given the price difference fz 25 is much better vfm than the gixxer 250 but if money wasn't an issue gixxer 250 is the better bike in my opinion.

Owning Yamaha is free from any problems. Want to upgrade my Yamaha from 150 to 250 for weekend rides and occasionally long rides and this bike served my my all purposes. Because of the light, it is easy to maneuver in the city. I have experienced 2 service centers and both have not given me any trouble instead suggested things to maintain my bike. The only 1 con I can say is only for pillion-riding seats for rides.

The bike is amazing and has served me well for the past 5 years. I've ridden it every day, maintenance is affordable and easy to do even on your own. The only sad part is that it only has a 5-speed gearbox, and even on the 5th gear, it still has plenty of power and wants one more gear to fully use the power on hold. The bike looks great and all but needs a 6-speed gearbox to utilize it's full power

Honest Review After Driving 39000 km In 5 Years

I have been using this bike for the last 5 years. The bike is very good to ride in the city or on highways. The special thing is I never had a back pain issue while riding on this bike. Daily I am riding 50km in city traffic. I am getting 34 mileage per liter. The best part of this bike is the seating position. My height is 6 feet 4 and 4 inches and I never feel discomfort on this bike. I have completed more than 39k km driving and then given this honest review.

Better than royal enfield. Superb engine refinement, mileage around 37-40 kmpl which is amazing. Beats all royal enfield bikes in performance and re is nowhere close to yamaha's engine refinement, however, I know RE does not make performance bikes. And even in 250cc segment fz25 is little underpowered but atleast its better than RE . The most amazing part is engine refinement which is what Yamaha is known for and best mileage which are my top reasons to buy this bike. However this bike has an issue with ground clearance which is manageable if you ride alone but need to be taken care of, with a pillion rider

1. Budget-friendly2. Easy & comfortable to ride 3. Funky look with decent performance4. Low-cost service 7 maintenance5. Pros - You can do long & city rides. It's worth its prize on that 250 cc segment and performance is best, brakes are excellent, tire grip to the drifting is best, and services ok but need to improve.Cons - 5 no gears instead of 6 & little low power as compared to 250cc Very smooth, comfortable yet powerful bike. Just got it a week ago and I really liked it. I am 6 feet tall and I guess it would be comfortable for people of any height. The exhaust sound is really impressive too. People are noticing my bike on the roads.

You can go for N250 but this bike is big and looks good and attracts peopleComfortable and easy trick. Maintenance of this bike is very easy. This bike lacks only 2 things 1 additional gear and instrument cluster but when you drive it in city you won't need 6th gear, go for it.
