Best bike in 250cc segment and value for money, best ride quality and handling yamaha nailed it once again. My friends suggested me to go for ktm, but we all know ktm is just for power hungry people, fz25 is good for daily commute as well as occasional long tours. This is my first bike and i am highly satisfied.

I have purchased fz25 for daily commuting and for occasionally long rides. My experience with the is very good. Haven't faced any issue with the bike. It rides very smooth, acceleration is pity fast and high speed stability is awesome. One down fall of the bike is that it only have 5 speed gearbox. Yamaha should have provided the bike with 6 speed gearbox which would have made the bike perfect.

My first bike and the best bike till started riding. When you start riding, immediately you fall in love with this amazing muscle boy. Completed 1500 kms. Its gives more than what you expect. First service done it cost you around 1000 Rupees. After 1st service you enjoy the true power of FZ25.
    Pros:
    1. Amazing Comfort (both rider and pillion).
    2. Best Mileage (43 plus mileage when you throttle between 60 to 70 continuously.
    3. Tyre grip is very good.
    4. Build quality and Exhaust note sounds superb.
    5. Smooth gear shift (after 1st service).
    6. Great Pickup.
    Cons:
    1. Headlight (if you are a night rider its difficult, you must use pass light)
    2. Lack of ABS (We neglect upto some extent).

  • Yamaha is all that you want. Don't hear the peoples talking. First own it .Than i bet you love that machine.

    Aniket Shinde

Yamaha is all contained equipped good machine. It has all things that u want. The only thing that you have to buy it. It is a machine with a good exhaust that don't make a loud and irritating sound. It has its own sound. It have a good performance even after the thousands of km & it is really good than all other bikes on the indian road rather than the other bike. You think that yamaha takes more money than other bikes . But one thing make in mind it is not like a plastic body low quality material. Yamaha is one time investment it doesn't need maintenance like other bike.

The bike is just amazing .The torque you feel is not anywhere less than amazing . The perfect upright position helps you to cruise at speeds of 100 to 120km/hr without any strain. Talking about the engine ,it's very smooth and best suited for city traffic as well as longer rides . Just eagerly waiting to know whether yamaha will launch an fz25 v2.0.

This bike is excellent in terms of comfort, and has a pretty good riding experience.Looks stunning but performance is not up to the mark for 250cc standards. Maintenance costs you 1000 rs per service. Only buy when you have a yamaha service center near you.It has excellent handling and good revv happy engine, bike has good maneuverability and is easy to ride in the city. You can go for this bike if you are ok with the price.

After using the bike for around 6 months on hilly terrains of kashmir i will list out the pros and cons of the bike.Pros: refinement of yamaha engine its butter smooth. Good power at low end good for driving in the hills.Dual channel abs for better safety. Mileage of 36 to 40 km depending on your riding style. Most comfortable seat among all 250cc bikes next to honda cbr 250.Pillion seat is comfortable too. Handling is great and looks too.Now coming to the cons. The shifting of gears is a bit difficult sometimes as shifting is not smooth sometimes. The headlights are just terrible at night. Instrument cluster not feature loaded atleast should have a gear shift indicator. Side view mirrors not wide enough.Being light in weight bike is not stable after crossing 100km/hr speed.

This is my 1st bike. After very long discussion i had finally went for this bike because yamaha was reduced its price around 25k so I feel its worth it to go for it. Its power figure look low on the paper but believe me go for a test drive it will blow you by its low end torque and also gives you a big bike feeling while riding. And about mileage i am honestly telling that its depends on you if you are a hardcore rider I mean if you are always revving and accelerating more then it gives 33-35kmph. But if you are stable and calm rider then i am giving you surety that it will give you around 38-40 kmph No any other 250cc bike in this segment never give you this mileage . Engine is smooth and from Japanese manufacturer so trust it blindly. Breaks are from brembo and awesome stopping power. Everything it just awesome of this bike and value for every penny. So all good with this bike but i have only one issue that is its meter console it is very small. so hope yamaha will upgrade this. If you can ignore this then its a best machine and very fun to ride.

Bought my fz25 on March 17 2019. It has an amazing riding experience, comfortable for both the rider and pillion in the city as well as long runs. It has great torque and comparatively lesser weight than its rivals which gets you to escape city traffic real quick.
It's not a very tall bike, so a 5'3 feet person can easily ride this bike without any issue, but the ground clearance is also not bad so you have to worry less in the bad roads as well.
And lastly, Yamaha's built quality and reliability is exceptional. Truly speaking, I haven't expected such a wonderful performance from a budget motorcycle but for now, I am using this for almost every purpose riding and this bike never lets me down so far. More than 10000 kms with it. Many more to go.
Last but the least, I am not sure it's the best motorcycle or not at this price point but you will not regret buying it and this bike will justify your penny.
    Ride hard!

It's okay if you change the engine oil between 3.5-4k kms for the best performance of your motorcycle. Chain lube is important to remove the slackness especially it's monsoon lube your bike chain in every 1-1.5k kms

    Rahul Ghosh

I have purchased fz25 for daily commuting and for occasionally long rides. My experience with the is very good. Haven't faced any issue with the bike. It rides very smooth, acceleration is pity fast and high speed stability is awesome. One down fall of the bike is that it only have 5 speed gearbox. Yamaha should have provided the bike with 6 speed gearbox which would have made the bike perfect.
