MT 15 is worth buying. The reasons are:
Looks: Mt 15 is easily the best and most quirky-looking naked in India below 300cc category. The vermillion white color looks sensational. The rear of the bike also looks quite fabulous and reminds me of MT 07/09
Engine: Arguably the best engine below 200cc available in India. Fantastic NVH levels with adequate power coupled with lower weight make it a hoot to ride. The 6th gear makes it an effortless bike on highways. Also, it returns an impressive mileage of 40-50 km/l if ridden at a sedate pace.
Technology: It comes mated with a Slipper clutch, single-channel ABS, and VVA tech. The slipper clutch and VVA work flawlessly in this bike. Furthermore, the backlit instrument panel not only looks good but also shows an array of ‘useful’ features such as dynamic FC, average mileage, average speed, twin trip meter, gear indicator, LED projector lamp, and clock.

I have owned MT 15 V2 since 2022, this bike is good for city ride, the handling of this bike is very good, performance is at its peak, the bike gives good mileage, and it's a nice sporty bike that a youngster needs, Yamaha service is so good that he gives good service, and the paint is also good. The Pillon seating position is bad, this bike has a radiator fan issue and sometimes the headlight looks less.

    Buying Experience:-
I bought this Bike in Sri Vari Yamaha showroom in Padi, a Blue Square zone. The staff were very welcoming and helpful in explaining the specifications but not too deep. That might be due to people walking the showroom only after going through the specifications online.
    Riding experience:-
Oh man, It's a different feel. This bike becomes part of your body and listens to your brain to reflect your actions. Excellent comfort, nimble, lightweight and short radius and whatnot. Take a test ride to feel it.
    looks & Performance.
Look is Dashing, Such an aggressive look and its signature eye & mouth dome look like staring with aggressiveness. It is an eye-catching bike and you can find it easily from far in the roads.
Excellent performance bike with VVA. it's not easy to get mileage and performance in a single engine. this engine which is the same as R15 performs and satisfies both commuting and racing needs.
    Servicing & Maintenance:-
So far I have completed three services and the experience is smooth and good. I feel the bike as new after each service.
    Pros: - Mileage and performance
    Style
    Short turning Radius
    VVA
    Cons:- Pillion Seat.
The horn placed above indicator switch.

The Yamaha MT-15 is a sleek and agile streetfighter that packs a punch. Its 155cc liquid-cooled engine delivers impressive power and torque, making it perfect for city commutes and spirited rides alike. The design is sharp and modern, with aggressive styling that turns heads on the road. Handling is precise thanks to its lightweight chassis and nimble suspension setup. However, some riders may find the seat a bit firm for longer journeys, and the absence of ABS on some models could be a drawback for safety-conscious riders. Overall, the Yamaha MT-15 offers an exhilarating riding experience with a perfect blend of performance, style, and agility.

    2. Agility: The MT-15's lightweight chassis and agile handling make it well-suited for navigating through city traffic and taking on twisty roads with ease.
Upright Riding Position: The comfortable upright riding position reduces strain on the rider during longer journeys and enhances visibility in urban environments.
Engine Performance: The 155cc engine provides a good balance of power for both urban commuting and spirited rides, with responsive throttle and smooth acceleration.
Styling and Aesthetics: The MT-15's modern and edgy design, along with its distinctive LED headlights, contributes to a stylish and eye-catching appearance.
    3. Naked Bike Design: The MT-15 follows the "Dark Side of Japan" design philosophy, featuring a naked bike style with minimalistic bodywork, exposing the engine and other components.
LED Headlights: The bike is equipped with angular LED headlights that not only enhance visibility but also contribute to its aggressive and stylish appearance.
Muscular Tank: The sculpted fuel tank adds to the bike's muscular and dynamic look, enhancing its overall street presence.
Digital Instrument Cluster: The digital instrument cluster provides essential information, including speed, fuel level, gear position, and more, in a modern and easy-to-read layout.
    4. Service and maintenance
Proper service and maintenance are crucial for keeping the Yamaha MT-15 in optimal condition. Here are key Service Intervals:
Follow the manufacturer's recommended service intervals outlined in the owner's manual.
Regularly scheduled maintenance checks to ensure that essential components, such as the engine, brakes, and suspension, are in good working order.
    Oil Changes:
Change the engine oil and oil filter at the recommended intervals to maintain engine performance.
Use the recommended oil grade as specified by Yamaha to ensure proper lubrication.
    Brake System:
Regularly inspect and replace brake pads if necessary for optimal braking performance.
Check the brake fluid level and replace it according to the recommended schedule.

Keep tires properly inflated to the recommended pressure for safety and performance.
Regularly check tire tread depth and replace tires when they are worn out.
    5. Pros of Yamaha MT-15:
Aggressive Styling: The MT-15 boasts a sharp and aggressive design, appealing to riders who appreciate a sporty look.
Powerful Engine: Its 155cc liquid-cooled engine provides a good balance of power and efficiency, enhancing overall performance.
Agile Handling: The lightweight chassis contributes to nimble handling, making it well-suited for urban riding and quick maneuvers.
Comfortable Riding Posture: The bike offers a comfortable and upright riding posture, reducing fatigue during longer rides.
Feature-rich: Equipped with features like LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, and ABS, the MT-15 incorporates modern elements.
    Cons of Yamaha MT-15:
Pillion Seat: Some riders find the pillion seat to be a bit compact, potentially affecting the comfort of the passenger.
Limited Touring Capability: While it excels in city commuting and short rides, the MT-15 may not be the ideal choice for extensive touring.
Narrow Powerband: The power delivery might feel more focused on higher RPMs, potentially requiring more gear shifts in city traffic.
Ground Clearance: Riders might find the ground clearance slightly low, which could be a concern on uneven or rough roads.
Price: Depending on the market, the MT-15's price may be relatively higher compared to some competitors in the same segment.

    Tire Maintenance:

    Sachin Richard
