Yamaha R15S Summary
Yamaha R15S is a sports bike available in only 1 variant. The Yamaha R15S is powered by 155cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 18.1 bhp and a torque of 14.2 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Yamaha R15S comes up with anti-locking braking system. This R15S bike weighs 142 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 11 liters.
India Yamaha Motor has updated its portfolio with the launch of the new YZF-R15S V3.0 in our market. This new variant of the motorcycle uses a single-piece step-up seat instead of the split-style unit on the YZF-R15 V4.0. The motorcycle is available in a single paint option – Racing Blue.
Yamaha says that while the YZF-R15 V4.0 is being appreciated by customers across India, the company’s research has shown that the buyers want a more viable option to commute with a pillion, without having to compromise on the Racing DNA of the YZF-R15.
The mechanical specifications retain the 155cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, four-valve engine Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) setup. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor delivers 18.34bhp of maximum power at 10,000rpm and 14.1Nm of peak torque at 8,500rpm.
The feature list is similar to the YZF-R15 V4.0, although this variant misses a traction control system and a quick-shifter. The feature list on the YZF-R15S V3.0 includes a multi-function LCD instrument cluster with a gear-shift indicator, dual-channel ABS, assist and slipper clutch, and a side stand indicator with engine cut-off function. The hardware continues to use a Deltabox frame and an aluminium swingarm. The suspension tasks are handled by telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock. The braking hardware comprises single discs on both wheels.

The buying experience is good enough and the looks of this bike is a very good city and highway experience is good you can take it for long drives service is good and very nice maintenance is very low you can consider for this bike to everywhere this bike fuel efficiency is very good as compare to another bike Yamaha is very good to making bikes and their service center is good and staff treats us nicely maintain your bike with very low cost.

Best bike in sports category in budget

I have the bike r15 I have been using last 3 years and my bike mileage is nearly 45 in my driving. The comfort is good in this budget. We have to drive this bike in lean towards of course it’s a sports bike that’s why. Overall I like this bike in budget in the sports category and good enough mileage. I own a blue colour others colours are also good that’s your choice.

Of course, it is now a bit ergonomically friendlier and roomy enough for larger riders too. This bike is very special for me it is not because I love this bike but because I have a lot of memories with it. Its all about the experience with my friend. We both used to bunk class and roam around on the bike. We hardly manage money for petrol but those days are memorable. One thing I wish to tell is that this bike has something special which is a beautiful experience .

Got the bike within 6 months riding posture is uncomfortable performance is easy to maintain bad build quality great mileage parts are a bit expensive riding posture gets okay when you are used to it i have riding it for over a year now don't use aftermarket accessories too much not at all comfortable for pillion rider

The dealership experience was perfect when you buy a new bike, bike riding experience is very much harsh, the Handle position is very low it will start paining in your palm and shoulder once you ride above 20KM, not suggested for a long journey, Suspension is on the stiffer side it is tuned for track only, in the normal road with breaker and potholes, its oil shield will damage as happened in my case after rinding only 6600KM. Service cost is OK. If you want a bike that looks aggressive and sporty then you can consider this, considering small engine power and performance is top-notch, it has good road conditions it flys up to 130-135kmph effortlessly, but if you are a regular commuter and do long journey don't go for it.

It's a good looking bike but disgusting comfort. My bike is in the showroom because I damaged the shockers. Parts are too high priced but not available.Lot of problems for villagers, I can't carry a single bag can't carry anything also problem for women and about bad road is bad for rider.
