Awesome bike maintenance cost is low upto 2000.max. after every recommended kms.Like 1000.To 1500 kms. Engine oil cost is upto 550 rs only as compared to kawasaki ninja 300.
economical bike..Only cost is quite high but the bike deserves it. Maintenance can be easily accessed at any yamaha centre's.Parts are also easily available
Tips for Yamaha YZF-R3 [2016-2017]

Pros:engine refinement, looks, riding dynamics, stability, smooth gearbox, light clutch, instrument cluster, handling, etc.Cons: price and mileage in city is not good .If it will come with the price of rc 390 than it will rule in the heart of everyone like ktm bikes do.Ruler of highway in 300 cc segment i like throttle experience. Great bike in compared to rc390 vs dominar vs ninja 300 vs apache rr310.

It's a sports tourer bike , it has great road clearance and comfy ridding poster so tourer and dual cylinder makes it rush adrenaline top speed . I just love it. U can pull bike limits it will never get stress , it has mrf zapper it's the worst tire for its power , if u want see the real power of r3 go for rossie 2 perilli r mechlrain tyres

The bike is very nice.
I love the ride.
Very stable and very nice for daily commuting
42 bhp is enough for every day ride and on long highway trips as well.
There is plenty of power on offer
and you can roam around 20-30 kmph on 4-5 gear with any rpm lag.
The only disappointment is it doesn't have any features like the new ktm duke 390 but it is very good as compared of performance .
The average of bike is a bit low at -18 kmpl in city.
But it is the best bike. Go for it with out any doubt.

I enjoying the ride on this bike too much i like it because it's a good racing and compatible bike for me and in long journey u could never felt any problem while riding on this it shouldn't be good for long root to travel and the sound of bike is very good at least while u drive the bike at 100 to 110 speed u could never felt that u r sitting on a bike because u don't get any other external forces work while on riding

R3: ninja 300's worst nightmare
Shidush Contractor
If you are a daily commuter that also wants a bit for the occasional weekend ride and some street cred, the yamaha is for you. The r3 is labelled as "the super-bike you can live with", and it does live up to the versatility factor. The handlebars are taller, the foot-pegs aren't as rearset, and the motorcycle does not seem all that bulky. You can flick it around in traffic as well as enjoy the straights. But, the problem with the tagline to it is that it is, by no measure, a super-bike. And this becomes more evident as you take the r3 into a corner. The cost-cutting chassis of the r3 is just not as responsive as the delta-box frame on the r15, and the mrf's, although grippy, have a profile that are too flat. And so you'd want to push the bike hard into a corner, you'll stick your knee out despite the front-set foot-pegs almost scraping, you'll weigh the adamant chassis down, and yet the edge of the flat-profile tyres will restrict your lean angles and actually scare you to lean harder. You could stick some pirelli's or michelin's on it. Most of what i've said is irrelevant for the "hey look, i have a fancy twin cylinder jap bike" guy. The headlamp design is the best, and the motorcycle comes in two stunning colours: black, for those that enjoy subtlety, and blue, for those that want to stand out and celebrate being just that similar to the signature r1.

Perfect all rounder bike.Perfect for commuting, perfect for touring, perfect for track uses. No one will never regret for buying this bike for ever. The only complaint i felt was the stock tyres, they have no grip unless they are enough warmed. If u r going to buy this bike, change the stock tyres to pirelli or with something better.
