Yamaha is looking to relaunch its entry-level performance motorcycle - the YZF-R3. The bike was recently shown at a dealer conference, and the company revealed its intention to launch it in India. This bike was sold in the country a few years ago but was discontinued when BS4 emission norms kicked in.
The 2023 YZF-R3 has gone sharper and more aerodynamic. It might not be as aggressive as its bigger siblings and is closer in styling to the older-gen R1. The motorcycle comes with a full fairing with split headlamps and an air intake. Then there is the split seat setup with a short tail section.
As for features, the R3 comes with a dual-channel ABS, an LCD instrument cluster and LED lighting for the headlamp and tail lamp. Moreover, it is also equipped with upside-down forks with golden fork bottles. But when compared to its rivals, the KTM RC 390 and Ninja 400, the R3 only has decent equipment.
Now, the Yamaha R3’s engine hasn’t changed much since 2019. It has a 321cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that is good for 40.4bhp and 29.4Nm. As for hardware, the motorcycle comes with upside-down forks up front, a mono-shock and discs at both ends with ABS.
The YZF-R3 is expected to be around Rs 4 lakh and will go against the Kawasaki Ninja 400. Regarding launch time, expect it to be launched around the festive season.

The Yamaha YZF-R3 bike buying experience was great excitement I had done my research and spent time watching reviews and comparing with other models of the same category such as the Kawasaki Ninja 300 KTMrc 390 evaluated price performance suitability, customization, and add on after sale service rider community experience sharing financing and offer. the riding experience of the Yamaha YZF R3 is exhilarating yet approachable The 321 cc engine delivers smooth responsive power seating that comfortably strikes a good balance between sportiness and comfort suspension is firm for bumpy roads overall it's a great experience. Yamaha YZF R3 boasts a sharp aggressive design inspired by the bigger r series sleek bodywork and twin-led handling give it a bold and modern look with an aerodynamic profile and sporty graphics. It delivers solid performance with a 321cc engine producing 42 hp offers smooth acceleration balanced powerband it's lightweight design ensures nimble handling brakes suspension sporty ride. Yamaha is easy and affordable to maintain regular servicing oil changes brake checks chain adjust required for every 4k to 6k km first happens after 1k km yamaha servicing ensures genuine parts cost moderate compared to others. Cleaning air filter tire pressure bike runs smoothly. It's pros lightweight agile handling stylish design and beginner-friendly performance.Cons lacks advanced features like traction control and can be slightly uncomfortable for long rides.Service maintenance regularly checks and maintains tire pressure chain tension oil levels and always follows the manufacturer service schedule to ensure optimal bike performance and longevity.

An excellent all rounder !

The R3 is definitely expensive , but it has a high revving engine that evokes a sense of emotion in you. It is a purely mechanical motorcycle, that skips on electronic aids, but honestly it makes up for that in spades by blending usable performance in the city with comfortable touring capabilities.

The Yamaha YZF has an eventful introduction to the fleet

Yamaha R3 performance, engineAnother very similar aspect when seen in light of the outgoing R3, is the engine, and if you have ridden the BS4 R3 the memories will come flooding back. The 321cc parallel-twin engine still makes 42hp and it still loves to be wrung out all the way to its 12,000rpm redline. But low-speed tractability is also very nice – you can lazily ride around in 4th or 5th gear below 40kph, and the R3 responds without any signs of complaint. City riding should be quite peaceful, but the clutch is a little heavier than I’d have liked for bumper-to-bumper traffic.

Tips for other riders
If I recall there were a few riders upwards of 60k, even up to 80k with no real issues. Other than normal motorcycle maintenance and replacements, the first 'major' thing that needs to be done is the valve clearance check. R3's very reliable and somewhat bulletproof. 32,000+ miles and running strong.

It's a Yamaha so if they told me to pay 10 lakhs for it I would definitely buy it. Because once you ridden Yamaha you will love it. I have more than 5 Yamaha including bikes and scooters. Riding experience is to the next level. Let's not talk about looks and performance because anyone even a child also falls in love with it just like me. Service is like you have to consider it as your child otherwise it will Empty your wallet. Pros: You will enjoy your life each and every moment while riding it. It's literally The Powerbang.Handling, Breaking, Power, and Comfort to the next level.Cons: Lack of Service center ( Trusted ) in the Mumbai area.Yes, it's a bit more costly than other technological machines but you will get Yamaha's Reliability with it. Raw Power. Love you, Yamaha.

Keep changing oil after 3000 to 4000 km. And clean chain sprocket after 500 kms. Dont crash it. Ride safely, if you buy new then give yourself and bike lil bit time to know each other because its a raw power. Dont take it lightly. Once you know this machine then there is no one is happier than you. Thank you.

Highly Overpriced for a 300cc segment

I did ride the Yamaha R3 before, These guys launched with almost everything the same but they truly lost their customers with the pricing literally mocking indian customers, Instead one should go for Aprillia Kawasaki Honda with more power & features at the same price.. loosers Yamaha. Truly an unexpected pricing.
