The Yamaha Saluto RX is Yamaha’s entry-level offering in the lucrative 110cc commuter segment. A successor to the Yamaha Crux, the Saluto RX adopts a brand new platform and engine with BlueCore technology.
Cosmetically, the Yamaha Saluto RX draws inspiration from its bigger 125cc sibling, the Saluto. It gets the same conservative styling complete with a host of elegant paint schemes. The front of the Saluto RX features a bikini fairing with a curvy headlamp unit, while the tank is sculpted to give it a slightly muscular look. The instrument cluster is minimalistic and integrates an analogue speedometer and fuel gauge along with other basic functionalities. Under the 2018 update, Yamaha has updated the colour palate with four new shades with corresponding new graphics.
The Yamaha Saluto RX is powered by an 110cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, delivering 7.4bhp and 8.5Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a four-speed constant mesh transmission. Given the Saluto RX’s target audience, Yamaha has developed the engine along the lines of BlueCore technology, to improve the efficiency without compromising on the performance. The Saluto RX tips the scales at just 98 kilograms, and this weight plays an important role in helping the bike deliver a company-claimed 82kmpl. Suspension duties are managed by telescopic fork up front and dual shock absorbers at the back. Braking is done by drum brakes at both ends and they come equipped with Yamaha’s new Unified Braking System (UBS).
The Yamaha Saluto RX competes with other commuter motorcycles like the Hero Splendor iSmart 110, Mahindra Centuro, Honda CD 110 Dream and the TVS Victor.
Yamaha Saluto RX is available in the following colours in India.

If you are looking for average ... you should buy this bike, I have the last 7 years, only do regular service and change oil, and my bike average is 82/per ltr. Value for money. I purchased only 64000/- only. I know it's discounted, but I'm really happy.1000% buy against splendor or below 100,000/- bike ...

I am having a cold start problem from the date of purchase, in service center also not clear this issue. In all my service I intimated this problem to the service center. At the time they will do something. Then the issue will continue. This problem is my bike or all the bike has the same issue. The worst bike I had ever.

I have never seen this worst bike. When I go to the nearest shop for parts of this bike always not available servicing and maintenance of this too costly. My 63000 rupees totally waste. Speed over 60 riding bikes vibrate. Company written mileage is 82/l.But the reality is mileage only 55 to 60/l.So I never suggest buying this bike.

Bought yamaha saluto rx on april 2019 & it started causing problem from first week of purchase & there were several problems like shocker leak, rusting, and other in 6 months, no action was taken by dealer & company to resolve the problem. Poor quality product by yamaha also worst in class after sales service.

Have owned this bike more than 2 years, I will say that the riding experience for single person is superb. It feels like riding on the wind. I will not recommended people to ride it with triple load. Even 2 loads with heavy person feels a bit heavy. Fuel efficiency is very good. I don't have to worry about the fuel at all. the bike should have a bit more weight, 98 kg feels more like a bicycle than a motorbike. It's a good commuter vehicle. I have also reached at a speed of 120 kmph with 2 loads. Overall good experience but could have had a little thicker rear tire.

I bought this bike in the year 2019 and it took 2 months for me to get the color i want which is ( matt black) . The overall weight of the bike is 105kgs where you feel very light when you ride even in the heavy traffic.* design is very classy and it's a replica of old legend yamaha rx 100.*servicing and maintenance you can do it for every 3500 kms or 3 months whatever comes first.#pros: light weight bike, super mileage , servicing and maintenance at a reasonable price which is around 1500 and the last best part is mileage will go to 80kms/litre if you maintain it well but 70kms/litre is for sure.#cons: no cons.
