While the bike boasts overall commendable qualities, its seating position leaves something to be desired. Riders often find themselves slightly leaning forward, which can be uncomfortable. However, aside from this aspect, the bike performs well in all other aspects Fighter Attitude
It's really nice, mostly the look of a sports and smooth bike and the average is best. Thank you, Yamaha, for providing the most special bike. It's a favorite because of the look and the price is also affordable for everyone. If my sports bike is the best bike for my budget, then go for it, and everyone thanks me for changing to the right feedback. My riding experience is very good; I use my bike every day to go to work.

The Yamaha Saluto is an amazing Bike, Comfortable riding on this bike and an easy handling bike. Performance and Look both are amazing in this class bike. The servicing cost is very low. Only time-to-time servicing is done, No extra maintenance cost of this bike. If Yamaha did not close this bike sale, 100% of this bike would be a superb selling bike for Yamaha. Saluto is one of the best mileage, Low maintenance, and service cost riding performance bikes.
Request to Yamaha Company please relaunch of Saluto again.

I purchase Yamaha Saluto 125 drum break on 06.07.2019. I review after 3 years of running 35000 km.
    Pros-
Run 40 average speed in local road milage give 72 km/ltr.
Sudden pickup is good compared with other bikes in the same range.
    Con:-
    Starting problem in winter season
Halogen light is deemed after a few days.
The main problem is the seat is very hard, not comfortable for long distances. Heavy use may be affected by the bone problems.

I purchased Yamaha Saluto 125 disc in first quarter of 2016. Since then I have driven it for nearly 3 lakh km because I am a salesman. Really this bike is value for money. I never faced any problem on the road because I really take care of it and take my bike for its regular servicing . I never use any low quality or duplicate parts or cheaper engine oil. Still i am getting mileage of 55 km/l in town and 50 to 70 km/l on highways depending on driving speed. I would like to thank the entire team of Yamaha for making this bike the best bike in 125 category.

  • Could have been better

Buying experience: I purchased my bike from nalagarh (h.P.), which is a sub-dealer. So, had to visit show-room 2-3 times to get it delivered. However i couldn't get desired colour. Riding experience: Talking about riding experience, as it has (approx.) flat seat, so you'll not feel lazy or tired even after 1-2 hours of driving. Seat is long enough for two persons+1kid. It feels very light while biking due to light plastic material used. Bike head become very shaky while traveling over rough roads or bumps. Looks & performance: Bike has classic & simple design/look, which i personally like. Although i am not happy with its performance as it doesn't seems like 125cc bike. It feels very less power while shifting to 2nd (or 3rd) gear. Now, main reason to choose this bike was its mentioned average (78 kmpl). Although i calculated several times & it falls between 53 to 58 kmpl. Servicing & maintenance: Compared to bajaj/hero/tvs, yamaha service centers are very less in quantity. So even if you've to change your break-leathers, you'll have to search a lot. I personally visited 80kms for 1st four free-services. However servicing quality was good as service technician was well-trained & accurate.Pros:1) long seat2) classy look3) light-weight4) servicing quality is good.Cons:1) shaky bike head while riding.2) doesn't feels like 125cc i.E. Delivered power is less.3) actual average is way lesser than mention average.4) yamaha bike parts & service centres are rare (specially for small towns).

Both suspensions are stiff too much. Its not comfortable to ride at all. Only good thing is it's mileage. The quality of the plastics used in it is never good. The visor always gets shaking while riding on rough village path. The gear makes a lot of noise at the time of shifting. I am not happy to ride.

1.1 such a great bike for all purposes. I will get mileage for this bike 74 kms . I don't create rumor. This bike is same as yamaha fz v1 engine. Sound of the engine is same. When compared to other 125cc bikes, this one is better than to all. Because i am a mechanic. Yamaha is better for the engine while compared to other companies. Its my suggestion. Thank you.

The main problem is the seat is very hard, not comfortable for long distances. Heavy use may be affected by the bone problems.

    Ajit Kumar Mala

Thank you.

    Shivam Kumar

The Yamaha Saluto is an amazing Bike, Comfortable riding on this bike and an easy handling bike. Performance and Look both are amazing in this class bike. The servicing cost is very low. Only time-to-time servicing is done, No extra maintenance cost of this bike. If Yamaha did not close this bike sale, 100% of this bike would be a superb selling bike for Yamaha. Saluto is one of the best mileage, Low maintenance, and service cost riding performance bikes.
Request to Yamaha Company please relaunch of Saluto again.
