Although Yamaha in India is better known for its performance-focused 150cc bikes, the brand also sells a range of able commuter bikes that are targeted towards those looking for comfortable, fuel-efficient bikes with good quality all around.
The YBR 125 comes from the same range. The bike features a no-nonsense yet stylish design and comes with a fuel efficient power-train. Speaking of which, the 125cc air cooled, 4-stroke engine mated to a 4-speed gearbox promises a satisfactory fuel economy and good performance, thanks to all of 10.9bhp and 10.4Nm of torque on tap.
The YBR 125 comes with a host of features including a bright multi-reflector headlight, broad and comfortable seat and electric start as standard.
Priced at Rs 54,500 (ex-showroom), the Yamaha YBR 125 is being offered in three colors - Red, Black and Black-Red colours. The bike currently competes with Bajaj Discover 125T, Hero Glamour and Honda’s CB Shine.
The ARAI mileage of Yamaha YBR 125 is 57 kmpl.

Overall a good commuting bike but its a bit under powered in its category fuel average was normal parts are expensive but comfortable in ride. Need some improvements like availability of parts in cheaper rates there should be a kill switch and dipper option but at the end i am satisfied after one year of use.

Bike is nice but the services are so expensive and bad 2nd problem is start in winter self is not working! And biggest problem is wheel is so so so much thin In cuts you don't found confidence. And the lights is low in high beam. Seat is so long. That is the best thing. The bike is very comfortable.
