Comfortable ride for thin boys.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox 150cc engine,my r-15s gives me 55km/l. Bettert than rs200's fuel eficience. Rs200 only gives 30km/l. So r-15s is better for us.

Ride quality & handling it has double disk brakes so perfect breaking system. Yamaha known as their handling system.

Final words if you are heavy body or big guy.. This bike will not suit on you.

Pros

we are living in india.. So we first think about "kitna deti hai?". It gives 45kmp.

Cons

by compares rs200 or duke.. It has no pretty looks according to money.

Riding experience is completely different with r15s , even though slightly bending to front is required that does not hurt you any more. Yamaha is the best in terms of breaks handing front and back disks stops you as required. My top speed is 128km but no vibration no shaking same comfort when we are riding on 60km speed.

It makes you kind of feel that people on roads looking at you bike and keep asking you questions about your bike , yes it happened to me 10-12 times, i think that's enough to know how the bike looks and style.

My first paid service costs me 2000/- i feel that not too much it's reasonable because i changed my disk pads of front wheel. Most amazing thing with my bike is it is giving 38-42 mileage irrespective of speed (economy speed 40-50, my regular speed 60-80).

There are many to say this kind of positives but only one thing i feel disappoint that, at initial days my hands got hurt in traffic. For me it took one month to habituate with bike handle and get out of pain but no back pain. Till the date it is 1.6 Months for my bike but i never get disappointed it always keep rocking me.

The bike has looks, good mileage ,city like Kolkata i used to get 38-42 kmpl(in city) depending on my riding speed, traffic jams etc and in high way i get 50-56 kmpl in city i ride in 40-65 kmph in high way 60-80 kmph. About top speed i get around 144 kmph. The bike is very smooth and runs very well in city as well as highways.About comfortable it is better than v2 and v3 with pillion/without pillion, if comfort is your first criteria then you should go for fz25 but once you ride r15s after few weeks you will habituate.The bike's top speed stability is very good,no vibration issues. Some part's of this bike are costly but it long last very well,you don't need to change it many times. Till now in 3 yrs i ride my r15s 38640km and i loving it. If you want look, standard performance and along with a good mileage then go for it.

This is my 2nd bike in yamaha. First one was yamaha r15 limited edition and yamaha r15s is the second bike in yamaha. Buying the bike was ok for me as i have faced little difficulty. Riding the bike is awesome. I feel fresh when i ride the bike everyday. I just fell in love with it. I take care of it like a baby. I fell in love with it so much that even i tattooed the bike on my hand. Looks fabulous and great performance on road. Servicing i always feel some incompleteness. Never reached my expectations in servicing and i maintain very well.

Looking prefect riding ..Super bike for long tour ....Good mileage bike but price is to high compare to rs200 ..But everything is good nice bike handlebar and twin-headlight are not so good tail light is not lead so bike no have abs that also one disadvantage of this bike

First of all i'm not good at english, sorry for that.. I'm righting this review only because i should. I'm using this bike for more than a year, driven more than 20000 km, my personal top speed is 147kmph *_* yes true!!!, i used this bike for almost every scenarios like long driver for more than 350km non stop at average of 110kmph, local driver which make me do gear change fast and frequent and make sudden cuts easily, fast diver like even at 147kmph completely bike will be in your control, slow driver makes me feel like sailing in slow boat at unmoved ocean, rough driver near hills like nagalapuram, ooty, even i used at chennai beach's lol... In all this scenarios this bike makes me feel happy and makes me fall in love with her day by day. She never makes me disappointed till now in anything like maintenance, mileage, performance, comfort. So overall one of the best among best bikes - r15s. Thanks guys..

Its very easy to handle and maintain.

Overall performance is very good..

Its going 0 to 60 km in june 3 to 4 seconds

and it's back tyre are very broad to braking.

So u can easily handle in very faster running time also...

Wear helmet and have a safe drive.

Only issue i faced is with tyre. 130 is company recommendation. Only coz of this tyre i met with 3 accidents. It gets locked very quick. But when i upgrade to 140 i didn't face any issue. About 45 to 47 mileage i am getting.. Service center experience was very poor.
