5000-15000 km

Got mileage of

40 kmpl

I have bought r15s when it was launched and I am extremely happy for my decision. Best part of r15s is the seat is comfortable if we compare it with v2 or v3. Average is also good because it is 150 cc. White and blue colour looks awesome and it is unique. If you are stylish family man, r15s is the best choice.

Good looking for your personality. This enhances power delivery across the rev range, making it suitable for both city rides and highway cruising. The Delta Box frame, which is a trademark feature of the R15, provides excellent stability and handling in corners. It’s a very agile bike, great for riders who enjoy spirited riding. The bike comes with dual-channel ABS as standard, which enhances safety, especially during hard braking. The disc brakes provide excellent stopping power and control.

Visual appeal. It's a combination of sporty and classic.
Reliability: i used my r15s for my daily basis almost driven for 45 kms/day. I never felt any pain in my bodies still date. Having aggression riding position but not like v3, it's a plus point.
Performance: surely it'll give u 50km/litre in traffic and 55+km/litre in highways. When you maintain economy that was around 65-85 ( yes! this is economy speed of this bike.)

its been 3 years i have been using this bike. only problem i face is from the service centre peoples only. once i have completed the free services and when i started needing the spare parts the trouble rises. they may not have the spare and when they have they charge a lot.
i ride a lot in this bike. riding these bike in highways is a best feel. of-course its a sport bike. but its not soo hard to ride in normal roads with potholes in it. i had even offroad it. no road seems to damage the bike from my experience.
should check for brake pad wear and should change break pads. also don't keep engine oil so long .try to check it within 3000-5000km and change it also. use only branded oils.
the problem i face still is trouble on engine self taking when kept under direct sun light. when bike become hot keeping it in open sunlight it wont stand for a couple of self igniting.
no issues on starting up when kept in cold climate or shelter. these issue occurs only when kept in road side parking in hot climate exposed to direct sunlight.

keep your engine oil fresh always. check it regularly coz its the blood of the bike. chain should be cleaned and lubed or else it will get damaged soon. cleaning and lubing can give u a smooth ride experience and more life to chain and sprocket. break pad's are much expensive in service centre. still that break pads gives an awesome breaking. use only better break pads if buying from local market or else break pad will damage the disc. i changed tires once and used mrf. still now no other issues for me.

its been 3 years i have been using this bike. only problem i face is from the service centre peoples only. once i have completed the free services and when i started needing the spare parts the trouble rises. they may not have the spare and when they have they charge a lot.
i ride a lot in this bike. riding these bike in highways is a best feel. of-course its a sport bike. but its not soo hard to ride in normal roads with potholes in it. i had even offroad it. no road seems to damage the bike from my experience.
should check for brake pad wear and should change break pads. also don't keep engine oil so long .try to check it within 3000-5000km and change it also. use only branded oils.
the problem i face still is trouble on engine self taking when kept under direct sun light. when bike become hot keeping it in open sunlight it wont stand for a couple of self igniting.
no issues on starting up when kept in cold climate or shelter. these issue occurs only when kept in road side parking in hot climate exposed to direct sunlight.

keep your engine oil fresh always. check it regularly coz its the blood of the bike. chain should be cleaned and lubed or else it will get damaged soon. cleaning and lubing can give u a smooth ride experience and more life to chain and sprocket. break pad's are much expensive in service centre. still that break pads gives an awesome breaking. use only better break pads if buying from local market or else break pad will damage the disc. i changed tires once and used mrf. still now no other issues for me.

Reasonable price Feels like a sports bike, cornering is awesome. Looks great as-usual. Performance is great, give around 43 kmpl in city limits breaking is awesome! Servicing is moderate when compared to other 150cc bikes. Pros:Every thing is good in the bike. Cons:No abs, Headlights may have been better, No tail-lamp led lights.

  • Enthusiasts looking for a sporty, entry-level bike with good performance.

    Avinash Abhinav

Good looking for your personality. This enhances power delivery across the rev range, making it suitable for both city rides and highway cruising. The Delta Box frame, which is a trademark feature of the R15, provides excellent stability and handling in corners. It’s a very agile bike, great for riders who enjoy spirited riding. The bike comes with dual-channel ABS as standard, which enhances safety, especially during hard braking. The disc brakes provide excellent stopping power and control.

I'm crazy about sporty bikes. I chosen this bike for the more riding posture offering to rider and i really enjoyed it. The looks is pretty cute look than any 150 cc sport bikes. The dual headlight r way better looks than single headlight. I service my bike to my friend. He is good mechanic and he had work in Yamaha's showroom.
    Pros
Very comfort seat handle posture(if u love to ride sporty bikes)
Engine is killing smooth and quite powerfull to compare with 150cc's.
Handling control and also the cornering performance is easy with the low body weight.
Comfort with both tall and short people
No vibration in low,.Mid or top range
Breaking is good both rear and front
    Clutch is smooth
    Cons
    Headlight power is too low
    No abs
Less pillion comfort for long rides

Visual appeal. It's a combination of sporty and classic.
Reliability: i used my r15s for my daily basis almost driven for 45 kms/day. I never felt any pain in my bodies still date. Having aggression riding position but not like v3, it's a plus point.
Performance: surely it'll give u 50km/litre in traffic and 55+km/litre in highways. When you maintain economy that was around 65-85 ( yes! this is economy speed of this bike.)

Only issue i faced is with tyre. 130 is company recommendation. Only coz of this tyre i met with 3 accidents. It gets locked very quick. But when i upgrade to 140 i didn't face any issue. About 45 to 47 mileage i am getting.. Service center experience was very poor.
