Yamaha YZF R3 performance-based bike I never owned it, but I have ridden it so many times and I just love it if you are going on long trips, it is not very comfortable mainly because I have pain in my lower back whenever I drive this for a long time. In my point of view, it is value for money and good-looking as well.

R3: Beast in the segment

- Buying Experience: Smooth process at authorized dealerships. - Riding Experience: Thrilling with a powerful 321cc engine, balanced for city and highway rides.- Looks: Sporty, aggressive design with modern aesthetics.- Performance: Strong initial, mid-range, and top-end power from the parallel-twin engine. Best in the segment -Servicing/Maintenance: Reliable options, scheduled services, and genuine spare parts are available.-Pros&Cons: Most powerful and only twin-cylinder in the 300cc segment in India. Unbeatable in both the initial and top-end. Feels a bit overpriced.

The best 300 I would say!!
Aldrin Pf
This bike is a gem. It offers the best things of its rivals, refinement of the ninja 300 and almost the same power as 390s. Being in a 300cc segment it offers a better pick-up than a ninja and better cruising speed, top end with less stress compared to the 390s. Cons: built quality is not great as the ktms, and all parts won't be readily available in service centers.

Totally overpriced and average looks
Aneez
The price is totally vague 3 lakh is totally overpriced.. Looks isn't that good compared to other bikes in same price range... Never owned this bike but as a customer point of view.. I wouldn't buy such an overpriced bike... Unless i got lakhs lying around. As a bike lover.. I my opinion, I would prefer buying a kawasaki ninja instead of buying an overpriced average looks vehicle.

Great mechanically with some shortcomings
6 years ago
Yashas
Pros:1. Stonking engine 2. Good build quality3. I've ridden the non ABS variant but now the inclusion of ABS is really welcoming4. Braking was great. And now with ABS, I hope that braking performance got better.5. Good for touringOverall, great mechanicalCons:1. Price - now with Kawasaki making a great move by launching Ninja 300 at approximately 3lakhs R3 seems to be pretty overly priced2. This bike is not a pure "R" series bike as it doesn't offer that level of sportiness as compared to other R series bikes like R6 or R13. After having ridden RC390 and Yamaha R3 back to back, I really felt that handling of R3 is not that great, probably because of the weight 4. Looks are subjective but with that asking price Yamaha should have upgraded the design especially the front end5. And yes, mileage is around 25-28kmpl on the highways and in the city traffic, mileage drops down to single digitOverall it is a good bike but it hasn't got enough bling to attract potential buyers. It gets the job done but it is not a proper sportsbike. Now with Kawasaki offering Ninja 300 at 3L, Yamaha have got to up their strategy because Ninja 300 is a perfect alternative for R3. And if you want a great track tool just get RC390.I ride my friend's R3 and to be frank he's now thinking of getting a bike more sportier.
