Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the new XPulse 200 4V in the Indian market. This new variant of the motorcycle will be sold alongside the standard XPulse 200 (two-valve) in our market. The BS6-compliant, 200cc, four-valve, oil-cooled engine produces 18.8bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. Hero MotoCorp claims that the four-valve motor offers power across the mid and top-end speed range and delivers stress-free engine performance even at high speeds.
Other changes to the motorcycle over the two-valve version include the revised switchgear that comprises an integrated starter/engine cut-off button. Hero MotoCorp also claims better illumination from the LED headlight and improved cooling through the seven-fin oil-cooled. The features also include an LED taillight, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, and a single-channel ABS.
The styling cues remain unaltered, although the company has new colour schemes and updated graphics on the XPulse 200 4V. The motorcycle is available in three new colour options – Trail Blue, Blitz Blue, and Red Raid. The motorcycle retains a round headlight at the front, a wind-deflector, sleek taillight, raised front fender, wire-spoke wheels (21-inch front/18-inch rear), and a tall-set exhaust.
The hardware on the XPulse 200 4V retains 37mm telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, and petal-type disc brakes. The motorcycle tips the weighing scale at 158kg (kerb). Hero MotoCorp will also offer the Rally Kit for the XPulse 200 4V. The optional kit will bring a longer travel suspension, flat saddle, knobby-pattern tyres, and a new side-stand to the motorcycle.

Fantastic riding experience with hero x pulse 200 4 v. Bought from singla automobile, pandav nagar. They encouraged me to buy this bike. Riding on x pulse gives you fantastic moments rather than royal enfield. The looks are attractive, graphics are captivating. It gives you 36 kmpl. It could have worked on the centre stand in a better way. The Centre stand touches the earth on all speed breakers irrespective of speed breaker height. Despite of centre stand, x pulse performance is really good. It gives me immense pleasure when I ride on this. Everybody looks at the bike, which means it is priceworthy.

The buying experience is very poor they work like,Outside pan shop abused each other in front of customers and after selling the bike i had the experience of my number plate going to lose then I go to the showroom singla agency prahladpur they told me we can't do just a 5-minute call they have to put just two screws on number plate but they said no to me.About the service center experience, they are good but they are not well experienced for people over there because I am having a problem with my bike for 6 months vibration problem and it's going to switch off every time but they can't do anything all that.

The buying experience was brilliant; I took three test drives of xpulse 4v and 2 test drives of xpulse bs6 before making my decision. All the test drives were from the same store, and the staff was helpful. On the day of purchase, the store took care of everything and made the process super fast and easy. They gave me bike within 2 hours, including all the documentation time. It's been 1 month since i bought this bike, and i have ridden it for more than 1900km within a month. I do enough touring usually but haven't got the chance for proper touring on xpulse. However, I have driven it for around 150-200 km in a day thrice, and trust me; it is capable. Talking about the seat, I don't like it much and got it replaced on day 1 from khajanchi, karol bagh. Spent the purchase day in karol bagh only; got backrest and top rack installed, got seat cushiony, added auxiliary light (stock headlight is not so useful in dark), and changed leg guards. I could not find a decent windshield, and that is necessary, which i am still looking for. After the seat change, seat height has increased by around half a centimeter, and i am 5'7". Seat height is actually not an issue once you are comfortable on it.This bike glides through rough terrain; i sometimes go to rough terrains of sonepat just to enjoy it. It moves like a breeze; however, I feel handlebars could have been a bit higher. Will get a higher handlebar soon as handlebar risers are not easily available.Xpusle 4v is pretty; you will know it when you see how people look at it. In almost every parking, people are staring at it, and i get a lot of questions about the bike. This bike is brilliantly capable off-road; however, highway performance could have been better. Traffic maneuvering is quite easy, but I sometimes feel wobble at high speeds (above 115kmph). My 8 year old avenger 220 is way more stable at speeds over 115kmph (but that's obvious given its cruiser ergonomics). However, you can easily maintain a speed of 95-100 kmph constantly without feeling any significant vibration. Engine is refined and smooth, and gear ratios are lovely (can go 90+ in fourth gear, and you can pick up from 30 kmph from fifth gear). To be honest, I am pretty sure that I can do 800-1000 km in a day easily, given its overall performance and capabilities.Let me tell you about its mileage. Before the first service, I was getting easy mileage of 40 kmpl as I was not riding above 70kmph. Got my first service in the first week, and as soon as I started revving harder, the mileage dropped to 36kmpl. I think 36kmpl is fine, but my eight-year-old avenger still gives a constant mileage of 33kmpl (provided it's a bs3 bike).Maintenance of xpulse is not an issue; my first service cost me just inr 1110, which is majorly the cost of the full synthetic engine oil (as the first 5 services are free of labor charges). Xpulse has a warranty of 5 years or 70k km, whichever is earlier, and this is such a relief. This warranty covers all of the engine (all the major parts) and suspension. I go off-road tension-free knowing that I am covered. Now, i will make a quick pros and cons list.Pros: - value for money (every penny you spend on xpulse is always well spent)- great road presence- decent mileage (when driven at decent speeds)- refined engine- gear ratios- off-road capabilities- easy to maintain- 5 years warranty cover- brilliant service reach of hero- lightweight (makes off-roading breeze)Cons- headlamps (you would surely need auxiliary lights if roads do not have proper lighting)- inconsistent mileage (only if you hit the revs hard)- "slight" heating (can be felt in traffic situations)- no center stand (not a con for me but others might have a problem with this)- lightweight (can cause little inconvenience while carrying luggage on tours)Note: my rating is actually 4.5 stars as there is a little scope of improvement which can be addressed easily.

Xpulse 200 4v user experience beyond the specification sheet.

Although the hero customer sales executive don't know about this machine I did my research before buying this so I did know pretty much about the bike but people at the hero were quite supportive and curious to know about this machine from me ha ha, the overall buying experience was nice they do adjust some bit here and there to sale this bike with maximum customer satisfaction. I got the colour I wanted and got the same-day delivery as well. I have been riding motorbikes for the last 5-6 years and I do get some skills so the riding experience on this machine was super nice, got agronomics, upright seating position and light weight help the rider to ride this bike with more confidence and comfort, this bike performs really well in all kind of roads and high altitude but it mostly meant to be ridden along with pillion this bike loose bit of its power and character. It's a 200cc bike but it can't cope with its segment bikes as the engine is designed to generate lower-end power so the high speed is not that smooth but one can easily cruise this at 90-95 kmph with ease and comfort while getting good mileage. Also, it's meant to do off-road and long touring but when it comes to cornering this doesn't suit that because of these agronomic and off-road tyres bike loses its grip from the road. The bike does get the fabulous look, it's really fresh for the roads I really mean it, whenever I stop at any traffic light the other person next to me surely gonna give me a compliment or ask me which bike is this, is it customised or company made. The maintenance is cheap once can really use that money to go for long rids and get some modifications to make it a better machine but like it, a hero bike but the engine oil I quite on the expensive side also its a new machine for the service guys at hero so you need to be present there to see that everything happens in the right way also many parts are not available in service centre too. Pros:- Ready to go bike for anything1. Vfm2. Fresh looks & appealing design 3. Comfortable agronomics and suspension for any kind of road. 4. Cheap to maintain and higher mileage 5. Best machine to own for regular commute and occasionally touring. Cons:- hero tag (need to make customer service better)1. Some parts feel the cheap quality2. Spokes wheel that gonna take a lot of effort for puncture repaired3. Tall height might be a problem for some people4. Pillion seat not comfortable5. Parts availability issue.

Bike is good according to prize. If dual brakes are provided with ABS then it would have been good for safety purpose.Overall it's a good bike. If little more power would have been there then we would enjoy more. Personally I love hero just because of comfort. I have glamour bike and have great experience with this. Now hero understands indian roads better.Everything is good and main attraction is it's prize.
