Bajaj recently launched the 2024 Chetak Urbane in India at Rs. 1,15,001 (ex-showroom, Pune). The Chakan-based brand updated its EV offering a fair bit and now offers it in four different paint schemes. The options are Matte Coarse Grey, Cyber White, Brooklyn Black, and Indigo Metallic.
All the colour options mentioned above are single ton schemes. The Chetak only gets black colour on the seat cover, mirrors, floorboard, and the wheels. This gives the body paint a nice contrasting theme. The Chetak Urbane comes with a 2.9kWh battery with a maximum range of 113km. The charging time is four hours and 50 minutes and the top speed is 63kmph for the standard trim. If the buyers opt for the TecPac, then the Chetak also gets hill hold, reverse mode, full smartphone connectivity package that includes tamper alerts, OTA updates, and the top speed also increases to 73kmph. ‘
As of now, Bajaj has the two models of the Chetak on sale –2024 Chetak Urbane and the 2023 Chetak Premium. The latter is priced at Rs. 1,15,001 (ex-showroom, Pune). If you are looking for a sportier electric scooter, then Ather 450S and the 450X are also your possible option.
