In love with the power available on tap. My average speed is now higher than what it was earlier as the Scrambler loves to pick up speed on demand.The power delivery is very linear and not scary. A lot of reviewers have suggested that the sweet spot for highways is between 100-110, I felt that the bike is least strained between 60-80km/hr.The seating is higher so the view over traffic is much better than my old commuter.The bike actually gives the feeling of riding a big bike but is nimble enough to glide through traffic.The matt green khaki color is a looker.

Great but not for everyone

I recently bought the Scrambler 400x. I also have a d400. For daily commutes, I prefer using the d400 as it is better to maneuver in the traffic and the suspension is soft. For longer rides ( >60km) I would recommend scrambler 400x. Personally, I use this bike mostly on weekends but the refinement and mileage are pretty good and the maintenance cost is also good. Overall, it is a good bike

Service interval is 1 year or 16000 km. My other 400cc bike has service interval of 4 months. Maintenence cost is good compared to other bikes as spending 3k yearly once (excluding parts of the bike) is better than spending 3k thrice a year

This bike has it all! I bought the Scrambler 400x not too long ago in Hyderabad and have put a decent number of kilometers on it already. It can cruise at 100 with no problem, and the transmission feels like butter. The potholes feel like they are not even there. It is perfect if you commute daily through a mix of highways and rough patches of roads like I do. I did think the handling would be bad at first, but when I rode it for the first time, it felt really easy to control, even for a beginner like me. I would say that it can be scary to drive if you have no experience and are on the shorter side. I mean, I am 6'1 (and a noob), and I got scared the first time, but you get used to the size and weight pretty quickly. It is quite peppy, and the brakes may feel spongy to a few who have only ridden sporty bikes, but they are perfect for the kind of use this bike is built for. I bought this bike at the Kukkatpally Triumph showroom, and I would recommend you buy it from there if you are in Hyderabad because of its fast and easy delivery. The only con I have noticed so far is that it heats up very quickly in city traffic, but that could just be because of my lack of experience riding a motorcycle. It is a beautiful, quick, and easy-to-handle bike that can be driven almost anywhere.

With its engaging ride, thoughtful design, and a nod to the past, the Scrambler 400 X stands out as a worthy addition to Triumph's storied lineup.Triumph has struck a good balance between the Scrambler's off-road capability and on-road comfort. The upright riding position is comfortable for both short city rides and longer journeys. The wide handlebars provide excellent control, and the well-padded seat offers enough support for extended periods in the saddle. However, riders with taller frames may find the seat a bit cramped during extended rides.

For Rs 2.63 lakh what does the Triumph Scrambler 400 X bring to the table? In terms of its competition, it is more expensive than something like the Scram and the Adventure 411 from RE, but it still is cheaper than something like the KTM Adventure 390, even the base model. It still makes a very compelling case for itself in terms of an overall package because it offers you what you would want from a motorcycle of this sort both on- and off-road with the switchable traction control, ABS, the slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle, and it rocks the boat in the 400cc scrambler segment as it stands.Of course, the Triumph Scrambler 400 X isn't a hardcore off-roader, and I have my doubts about it being a good distance tourer as well, but l will reserve that judgment for a later day. Now what it is, is a fairly simple motorcycle whose specifications are geared towards catering to enthusiastic and adventurous riding styles in true Scrambler fashion. And if that's what you're looking for in a motorcycle that offers great value for money, this is one quality machine that certainly won't disappoint.

Nice bike to drive and comfort was okay. I bought this bike for 2.7 lakh and it looks good when compared to other me.The performance was superb and the services were brilliant. The riding experience was good, On the first ride I travelled 150 km which made me very comfortable and I wasn't tired after the ride.
