DSK Hyosung might launch the GD250N in the next month. We recently saw the 250cc naked sports bike displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo.
According to a report published on a website, DSK Hyosung has confirmed the launch of the GD250N in April 2014. The bike that was displayed at the Expo looks good with its street-fighter looks. The GD250N gets inverted forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. With 17-inch alloy wheels, the motorcycle comes equipped with 300 mm petal type disc brake in the front and a 230 mm petal disc brake at the rear.
The production version of the GD250N is expected to carry the fully digital instrument cluster that the bike showcased at the Auto Expo had. The lines of the bike accentuate the meaty tank, split-seats and the rear. Another highlight of the bike is the large under-belly exhaust can.
The GD250N is powered by an all-new 250cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine that produces 28bhp of power and 24Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gear-box.
We can expect the Hyosung GD250N to compete with the KTM Duke 200 if launched in India. Any which ways, if the bike reaches the dealerships in India anytime this year, priced anything between Rs 1.6lakh to Rs 1.8lakh, Hyosung can find a lot of buyers for this bike.
