Exclusive: The New Kawasaki Ninja H2

Kawasaki has released a teaser video that shows few glimpses of their upcoming motorcycle the Ninja H2. This new motorcycle will be unveiled at the Intermot show which will be held on September 30. Meanwhile, in order to keep the hype alive, the Japanese manufacturer  will be releasing another video, tomorrow, on its official website, www.ninja-h2.com.

This teaser video had a black background but the fuel tank of the motorcycle can be seen. It looks quite sporty. Kawasaki says the Ninja H2 captures the spirit of the 750cc Mach IV H2 that, along with the 500cc three cylinder H1 and the all-conquering 903cc Z1 Super Four. 

Well, all these are few observations from the teaser video but if rumours are to be believed, the Ninja H2 might get the new supercharged four-cylinder engine that the company unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show last year. But it gets very interesting. There is a small text hidden on their official website which says “The Ninja H2 was not designed with meeting regulations a primary concern. Kawasaki’s latest flagship is the result of a pure exercise in pushing the limits of motorcycle technology with the goal of creating the ideal road sports bike.” It further adds that the Ninja H2 is the latest flagship motorcycle, which means it is taking away the flagship motorcycle tag from the mighty Ninja ZX-14R. 

If you look at the teaser video closely, the windscreen resembles the one in the Ninja ZX-14R but this one is slightly taller. The fuel tank looks big and gets sharp styling.  Kawasaki has made sure to keep this as secretive as possible. But if it’s a supercharged engine, will it cross the 300bhp mark? We say, everything is possible.
