BMW Motorrad recently revealed the 40 Years GS special edition variants of its middleweight adventure series – F 750 GS and F 850 GS. Here we bring you the detailed images of the special edition F 850 GS and the F 850 GS Adventure.
The special edition bikes are distinguished by their exclusive paint theme. The ‘40 Years GS special edition’ features dual-tone paint that comprises black and yellow colours. The bikes also get '40 Years GS' logo on the fairing side panels.
The motorcycles use black as the base colour, while parts such as knuckle guards and the seat feature the yellow shade.
The tubeless-tyre compatible wire-spoke wheels on the F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure get a gold finish.
Standard features on the 40 Years GS special edition include a USB charger, cornering ABS and traction control.
The F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure also receive a taller, adjustable windscreen and a GPS mount.
Both motorcycles use an 853cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that makes 92.5bhp at 8,250rpm and 92Nm at 6,250rpm.
