Ola Electric has registered its highest-ever sales and registration in August. The brand said that it has sold over 19,000 electric scooters last month.

According to the company, last month's sales performance has helped it achieve 400 per cent year-on-year growth. The brand's market share has been maintained at around 30 per cent in August, and this figure could increase in the next few months due to the upcoming festive season.

Last month, Ola Electric launched a host of new scooters to cater to the growing Indian market. It also launched its most affordable variant – the S1 X in three variants. The most affordable lot is Rs 89,999, and the mid-spec retails at 99,999. The top-end S1 X+ is on sale at Rs 1,09,999.
