A good budgeted scooter in this segment

I bought the scooter April'23 and ride near about 50kms daily. The performance is satisfying to me. The suspension quality is poor. I got a mileage of around 70Km in sports mode. The speed 55km/h can touch with a full charge, the average speed is 50km to 52km/h. The servicing and maintenance cost is very low no major issue has occurred with me till date.

Buying Experience:I had an exceptional buying experience with Ampere Magnus. The process was smooth and hassle-free. The dealership staff were knowledgeable and guided me through the various models available, helping me choose the one that suited my needs best. The paperwork was handled efficiently, and I felt confident in my purchase decision.Riding Experience:The riding experience on the Ampere Magnus was truly remarkable. The electric scooter provided a silent and smooth ride, making it perfect for both city commutes and leisure rides. The acceleration was impressive, and I found the handling to be very responsive, making manoeuvring through traffic a breeze. The comfortable seating position added to the overall enjoyment of the ride.Details about Looks, Performance, etc.:The Ampere Magnus boasts a sleek and modern design that caught my eye from the moment I saw it. The build quality is top-notch, with attention to detail evident in every aspect of the scooter. In terms of performance, the Magnus exceeded my expectations. It had ample power for city riding, and the range per charge was more than sufficient for my daily commute. The digital display provided all the necessary information at a glance, enhancing the overall user experience.Servicing and Maintenance:When it comes to servicing and maintenance, I found Ampere’s support to be excellent. Scheduled maintenance was easy to book, and the service centre staff were professional and efficient. Any issues or concerns I had were addressed promptly, ensuring that my scooter remained in top condition at all times. The overall cost of ownership was reasonable, with minimal maintenance requirements thanks to the electric drivetrain.Pros:Silent and smooth rideImpressive accelerationModern designResponsive handlingLow maintenance costsCons:Limited range compared to some other electric scootersCharging infrastructure may be limited in certain areas

Worst ride quality causing body pains decent speed and range
1 year ago
Kamlesh
I bought this bike in April'22, uses only for my office commute, which is 13 km away from my home. The complete charging time is nearly 5 and half hours while it charged to nearly 75% in 3 hours. I generally drive in high-speed mode and get around 80-85 km range. Till now, I have driven nearly 2700 km.The buying experience was good.. Get it delivered in the expected time. It has never stopped during any ride. However, the major disappointment is its ride quality. The suspension system is so bad that one can feel every uneven surface of the road and each and every jerk will be transferred to the body. After one month of riding this bike, I am feeling body pains daily. I asked the service center to check twice and in that course, they adjusted the suspension to the maximum possible, but of no usage.. I have raised this issue to their head office a month ago, but no revert yet. So, overall a decent speed and range, but the worst quality ride.Ps: I also own 2014 hero karizma and have ridden that in the same route for the last 5 years without any issue.

Perfect commute vehicle for working people at a decent price

1. Buying experience was awesome - dealer vip wheels kolkata2. Very smooth to ride. Good torque. High pick up in high mode. Balance good. Good speed control options with high and low modes. Battery backup is great. The low mode can give around 100 and the high mode 80 km. Excellent commute vehicle. Looks like activa but actually longer. Has more legroom left for 6feet tall person. Two people can comfortably ride this scooter. Can ride in rains. It will also perform when waterlogging is low.Servicing required as per km driven. Can tolerate Indian road conditions with minimum service. Looks very good on the road. Not like a typical electric scooter.Cons - Loading over 150 kg can slow the vehicle down especially when moving up a bridge. The battery takes longer to charge. No fast charge option(but at this price ok). Build quality is good but when you compare to petrol scooter of the same price then not up to the mark. Better build than hero optima and ola. Magnus ex can withstand accident and fall to quite an extent.

Poor quality accessories. Do not recommended to purchase. Battery backup is poor

Very poor quality accessories. The material of plastic is not ulto the mark. Sit broken. Battery charger fuse. Poor body quality. 70km mileage/charge but as per the company declaration/promo it is 110 km/ charge. If parts are broken/damaged, no time limit is fixed. Very very poor service. The company needs only 1st-time sales. No after-sales service.

Dealer has monopoly in service, they charge Rs 300 but they do nothing. They use wd 40 spray 5-6 time but they charge Rs.80/- and same bottle used for other customers and again they charged Rs.80/- with same bottle. In service they only tighten the screws but they charge Rs 300. If you don't service they said the warranty doesn't cover it. Spare parts are very expensive..
