After discontinuing the Pulsar 220F in India for a few months, Bajaj Auto is all set to bring back the motorcycle in the market. It has already started arriving at dealerships and select dealers are even accepting bookings for the bike. These might be indications that the official launch of the Pulsar 220F isn’t too far.
Bajaj had discontinued the Pulsar 220F in 2022 to make way for the new-age 250cc Pulsars in Bajaj’s portfolio. However, the demand for the 220 certainly hasn’t deteriorated, especially in some parts of the country like the Southern region. Now, whether Bajaj will introduce it in select markets or across India is something not yet confirmed.
As can be observed from the spy images, Bajaj hasn’t executed any visual changes to the bike. It continues to sport a half-faired design with a huge front fascia, a muscular fuel tank, and a long tail with a split-type seat. In terms of features, it will expectedly be the same as the previous bike with an LED projector headlamp, LED tail lamp, semi-digital console, and a 15-litre fuel tank.
The engine and hardware package of the Pulsar 220F will also probably be the same. It is powered by a 220cc, oil-cooled engine that produces 20.11bhp and 18.55Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Suspended on telescopic forks up front and old-school dual springs at the rear, the Pulsar 220F rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. Bringing this 160kg machine to a halt is a single disc at both ends accompanied by a single-channel ABS setup.

Great bike but too much maintenances

The riding experience of this bike is truly great — it offers good power and feels amazing to ride. However, it requires a lot of maintenance. I had to replace the one-way twice this year, and the starter frequently gives problems. The mileage ranges from 30-35 kmpl, but unfortunately, this bike has also given me some very bad experiences.

It was stylish in 2007 but after there was no change in design, or colors, everything same. adding F after 220.

No doubt the bike is very Good in power pickup, but the build quality is poor, and the design boring and irritating chain set sound, and the fiber body on the tank and behind the pillion seat, the body of the bike sound rather losing bolt, etc.. especially when you think about sports bike. you always require smooth engine sound, colorful design, sharp edges, etc.

Nice combination of design, handling and power

This bike has been the choice of youth for more than a decade with thrilling power, handling, and a sporty look. It's the best bike for long drives at starting range. Very quick to get rid of the crowds. Tough competition to R15 and Gixxer. I'm going to purchase one soon. If Dual-channel ABS is provided, it's gonna be quite safe for high-speed drives.

The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is a true classic, offering a balance of power, reliability, and comfort that’s hard to beat. While its design leans toward an old-school look, the timeless simplicity is appealing, especially for those who prefer function over flash. The 220cc engine provides solid torque, making city and highway rides smooth and enjoyable. Its sturdy build ensures durability, and the bike’s low maintenance cost adds to its value. If you’re after a no-nonsense, powerful ride with a touch of retro charm, the Pulsar 220F is an excellent choice.

Number one sports bike in low cost

Number one sports bike in low cost as well as low maintenance. Bajaj Pulser 220F is easy to control and properly breaks with high speed. The best thing about this bike is that it has dual suspension and a DTSi engine which makes it comfortable for rush roads.Best bike for off-roading also. Best price value for money

220f Look like a jaguar

Owned from 2015 onwards. Good performance city mileage 35 kmpl highways long ride up to 40 kmpl stylish service costs approximate up to Rs, 2000 to 2500. every 5000 kms needs to improve suspensions like Rs 200. Also altering the front doom set like r15 means looks more good to visually looking. For 220 performances with the average cost. I like it.
