Got mileage of

28 kmpl

Booked the bike just after its launch, and riding it now for the last 3 months. The journey till now has been super smooth. I wanted a bike with quick pickup and an engine over 600cc and BSA suited well with my requirements.
Pros - Quick pickup, retro design, a cool looking design, decent mileage, a very well-balanced sound of Exhaust (not too low and not very loud), comfortable seat, and seat height is also a plus (good for short height riders)
Cons - Availability of spare parts. Had to wait for a couple of days to get a few spare parts like a back guard, and double/center stand.
Overall a pretty good bike in this segment. Best for daily rides. Being a heavy bike the handling is also very good to maneuver in traffic.

The BSA Gold Star 650 is a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern performance, designed for those who appreciate the art of motorcycling. Its timeless design, with retro details like the classic round headlamp and chrome touches, evokes a sense of nostalgia, while its single-cylinder engine offers smooth, reliable power for the modern rider. This bike isn’t just about the ride—it’s about the connection you feel with the road, the hum of the engine, and the freedom of the journey. Riding the Gold Star 650 isn’t just transportation; it’s a soulful experience.

I've been riding my BSA bike for 4 months and I'm impressed with its smooth ride quality. The bike's suspension system and comfortable seat have made the long ride easier, even on rough roads. • It comes with lots of features

    Boss

It comes with lots of features that will be useful for your daily rides as well as the tour I have personally experienced
The bossy exhaust sound and pop and bangs under deceleration only add to the delightful personality of this mill.
However, once you pick up the pace on the highway and approach 100km/h of speed, the vibrations start making their presence felt on the pegs and the handlebar. And they keep on increasing with the rise in speed. Moreover, almost every time I rolled off the throttle, the bike decelerated with a jerk, especially at slower speeds. This was an issue with the fuelling of the engine and should be easily fixable.

  • BSA Gold Star 650 is more than just a motorcycle

    Isha

The Gold Star 650 instantly commands attention with its retro-inspired styling. True to its roots, the design pays homage to the original Gold Star, from its round headlamp to the teardrop-shaped tank adorned with the iconic BSA badge. The bike offers a relaxed yet confident ride, especially on open highways. One noticeable omission is a standard USB port, which would have been a welcome addition for long-distance touring. It is a motorcycle that speaks to the heart, I am glad I bought it.

  • Disastrous Experience With BSA Gold star

    Vijay

Bought the vehicle on my first visit to the showroom as the vehicle has irresponsible styling and performance. But unfortunately, the vehicle got stopped while running all of a sudden. The vehicle is not registered yet, driven less than 180 km. With great struggle, managed to take the vehicle back home and complained to a service station. Terrible service experience as the team responded after 4 days after recurring calls. The vehicle was given back to me as everything was done and no major issues. The day I took the bike back from service, the vehicle stopped with the same fault on the same day. The battery is discharging while running. I am writing this as I am waiting on the road without any help from the Classic Legend team for towing or repair. Pathetic service and vehicle quality. Suggest people go with a reliable brand. Mahindra's backup is just an eye wash.

  • Offers nothing in comparison to competition

    U Dey

This motorcycle is too little too late. BSA and especially the Mahindra group offers absolutely nothing in comparison to the existing competition. The only benefits are silly sentiment and any collectible value of the first-year production chassis number. I wouldn't recommend any two-wheeler that has been promoted by the Mahindra group. Their four-wheelers are priceless, their two-wheelers are valueless. Their two-wheelers service centers are the opposite in facility and experience when compared to their lavish-looking showrooms. They are selling you a lemon for which all parts accessories and servicing cost a lot more than the resale value of this BSA. Go with well-known well-established brands and models.

In terms of design, the bike follows modern classic design language with retro aesthetics with traditional styling that incorporates vintage-inspired elements such as round headlights, chrome accents, and a minimalist elegant fuel tank. It gets highland green, insignia red, midnight black, dawn silver, shadow black, and sheen silver color options.

  • Classic BSA review

    Aditi

The BSA Gold Star 650 is a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern performance, designed for those who appreciate the art of motorcycling. Its timeless design, with retro details like the classic round headlamp and chrome touches, evokes a sense of nostalgia, while its single-cylinder engine offers smooth, reliable power for the modern rider. This bike isn’t just about the ride—it’s about the connection you feel with the road, the hum of the engine, and the freedom of the journey. Riding the Gold Star 650 isn’t just transportation; it’s a soulful experience.

  • Satisfied with the purchase

    Arwa Petiwala

I've been riding my BSA bike for 4 months and I'm impressed with its smooth ride quality. The bike's suspension system and comfortable seat have made the long ride easier, even on rough roads. I've recommended BSA bikes to several friends and family members, and they've all been satisfied with their purchases. Keep up the great work, BSA

  • Finest retro classic

    Prathmesh

Overall the bike is good. This bike has a good retro look also while riding the bike you get extra confidence because of the Pirelli tires and Brembo breaks. I felt the suspension was also good also I liked the refinement of the engine.
The Low-end torque is also superb. Gear shifting was good. I love the bike.

    Aakash

Bike with insane power, just a throttle away to make you fly, the handling is top-notch, and with speed comes great breaking and it was breaking with ease, great ride BSA, it feels blessed to have a retro-themed bike with a modern touch to it just to glide through Mumbai traffic with ease, seating height pretty impressive even for a 6 feet tall guy. Big upp
