    Buying experience:

I have purchased this in a sale, when the bharat stage-3 bikes were taken down by the goverment. I got it in discount and purchased at 50,000 inr on road price (the latest onroad price for maestro edge is 65000 approx). The showroom staffs is very friendly and they help in the servicing time too.

    Riding experience:

Well when its comes to riding it is reliable and comfortable. The good thing about this scooter is it has passing light (most of the scooters don't have that), so it is easy for me to drive in the highway. The seat has good amount of space so it is comfortable for the back seater. The bad thing about this scooter is its literally starts vibrating when the speed hoes beyond 50-60kmph.

    Looks and performance:

The looks of maestro is almost perfect except the front side of the scooter. I don't like the front look much. Otherwise the rest body of the scooter looks great!

Performance is overall good. I rate 4 out of 10 performance wise.

    Servicing & maintenance:

Well it is nearly about 5000km and i have done two servicing till now. I maintain my scooter well enough and everyone should maintain their scooter. We should avoid rash driving because it is a scooter not a sports bike. We should change engine oil every 2000-2500km and at first we should change engine oil within 500-750km.

    Pros:

    1. Good looking scooter suitable for mens mostly.

    2. It has passing lights and side stand indicator which is very useful.

    3. Comfortable to ride in local high traffic area.

    Cons:

    1. I am pretty much unsatisfied with the mileage. I am getting 30-35kmpl mileage now. I was expecting to get atleast 40kmpl.

    2. The scooter vibrates alot when it crosses 60kmph speed

Now it's been 1 week since i brought it and till now i am not facing any problem it has eye catchy look and design from which i impressed. I used to ride daily sometimes on rough road or ground where are many small rocks but it gives me very comfortable ride and there are very less vibration at some good speed the best part of this scooty is it has all features in one place that is in ignition key. Since it is pretty annoying to get down from vehicle to open fuel cap or seat but in these case hero has fulfilled all of these you can easily do what you want and for that just use key isn't that simple. I brought the zx version of maestro edge which has really eye catchy design and it also gives a sporty look to it. Since my first servicing is on 500 km which i haven't done yet but i know it will good as i saw some more scooty same as my one in the showroom where there are came for there first and second servicing and that was pretty good i am happy to brought it at such good price with all detail which i saw on this website.

    4. Excellent engine performance

    5. Ride quality is also too good

    6. Eye catching styling

    Sudeep

Worst gearless ever seen, in-fact worst mileage even compared with royal enfield classic 350 , feeling sad for buying this. No proper response even after several complaints at hero service center. It gives an avg mileage of 30 kmpl ,even while riding it for a long time it gives us back-pain, it is very very bad instead go for activa 4g which is very good gearless vehicle.

  • Star of the day always

    Mohan Kaushik

One of the amazing gearless wheels I've seen. I am very grateful that hero has finally come up such a futuristic, sharp and smart edges to it, making it dead appealing to male audience. 10 stars for looks. Buying experience was good. Riding feels like true adrenaline rush.. As i don't have to worry about constant gear shifts in crazy traffic and cruel potholes of Mumbai. Front telescopic suspension and rear unit spring suspensions absorb most of the shocks very effectively, which traditional spring suspensions cant do.. Blessed with good servicing team here at my locality, who makes sure the mileage of my wheels remains at optimum level. Pickup and braking systems are great and the overall traction control of the bike is awesome. As per the instructions given to me by my dealer and service center, initially one should drive in economy range only. Once the total kms exceeds 2k kms, we can increase our speeds but not to high.. Due to all this i get good city and highway mileage on my bike. Very happy with my maestro edge. :)

  • Almost satisfied with maestro edge but the mileage is less than expected

    Ashish Paul

  • Maestro edge a good practical scooter for city commuters

    Suvajit Ghosh

    Buying experience

i bought this scooter from hero showroom kolkata, i had a very good experience there, they gave me a test ride at first. The sales executive made me each and every specifications of hero maestro.

    Riding experience

myself 6 feet height and i am absolutely comfortable in this scooter compared to other scooters, the part digital speedometer really gives a good view of the console, side stand indicator is an added feature and it is a good feature. The engine is smooth enough cruising about 50 to 60 kph. The turning radius is decent which is an advantage for city traffic commuters. Hero's cbs (combi brake system) is a safety feature also added to most of the bike and scooters including this. Cbs works when we apply the rear brake, this system applies brake force to the front wheel leading to stop the vehicle without skidding.

    Details, performance etc.

No doubt hero had launched maestro edge targeting male customers as this scooters looks masculine. The v shaped tail lamp add exhaust cover guard gives maestro a more aggressive looks. It gets a class leading boot space along with usb mobile charger and boot light, it even has got external fuel lid which means this scooter is very good in practicality. The front part seats of this scooter is made up of anti slip material which is one of the safety features hero thought about. Overall maestro stand apart from its rival when it comes to looks and practicality. Well performance is as expected from the scooter of this range and class. The 110 cc engine is decent and well responsive, riding with a pillion does not seems like heavy. This scooter comes with all steel body which is a add on features and goes ahead from most of the scooters in the market. The 10 inch front and bigger 12 inch rear tyre keeps in good grip even in the wet roads. Overall mileage of about 50 to 55 km pl in economy speed range ( 40 to 60 kph).

    Servicing and maintenance

serving cost is very cheap in hero meastro. At first you will get 6 free servicing and then after every 3000 km. Air filter and engine oil needs to be change every after 6000 km and spark plug after 10000 to 12000 km, so maintenance and servicing is way more cheap in this scooter.

Pros: looks, practicality, braking, bigger tyre.

    Cons: no

    Cons: no

Worst gearless ever seen, in-fact worst mileage even compared with royal enfield classic 350 , feeling sad for buying this. No proper response even after several complaints at hero service center. It gives an avg mileage of 30 kmpl ,even while riding it for a long time it gives us back-pain, it is very very bad instead go for activa 4g which is very good gearless vehicle.

The worst scooter of hero company don't buy this scooter and waste your money please think before buying the hero scooters .It was giving only 30 kmpl mileage . Engine sound is very bad and hard sound .We can't drive comfortably. The engine always problematic. Sometimes in running the engine gets stopped on main road.
