  • Best scooter for one who wishes smooth riding even on harsh roads

I bought this scooty in my first salary on emi. I was dreaming of a scooty which is not less than any of the bikes. It's experience is superb. Am a teacher. And this scooter suits me the best. I have the following pros to tell.

    1. I got the scooter on the very next day of booking at rutvi motors davangere.

    2. Its look is stunning, very comfortable while riding.

    3. It goes very smooth.

    4. It indicates when it's lack of fuel in it. It also has the feature of showing service symbols which guides me to let my scooter services.

    5. I can keep my important records in it very safely. Portable charging slot is also available

    Con's :-

    1. I am not satisfied with the mileage of this scooter. It doesn't give more than 40km/litre so am not satisfied with this.

My overall experience is that am gonna rock on the road with my sweet scooter. I enjoy riding this....

1.Buying experience :- it was good.... Actually i was using a honda activa before, being an honda fan i thought to buy honda dio but honda showroom didn't offered me a good deal because i wanted to exchange with my activa i got the good deal in hero showroom therefore i bought this scooter. The on-road price of this scooter is 67k in hubli. I got it for around 50k including tax and insurance .. Which a very good deal (note:-activa which i used was about 10 years old one).

2.Riding experience:- i bought this scooter on june 2016 i rode about 25k kms till now ..Till now i didn't find and major issues..Coming on to the riding it has good low end power it drags good till 45kmph after 45kmph it gets tired the pickup is not constant or linear the pickup is good till 45kmph after that it lags .Top speed i rode is 90kmph that's the max speed you can go. It has some minor vibrations wen ur at 15-25kmph at the handle because of power output out ther..But after that it has zero vibrations u can find after 65kmph.

3.Looks, performance etc:- coming on to the looks it looks good its male oriented scooter.. Scooter does feel bit weight for 110cc.. Engine is very reliable not that smooth when compared to honda japanese engine but hero vibrations are not easier to notice its very minor..Let me tell you about the mileage hero claims it's gives around 65kmpl but i am getting around 40-45 in city i rev the scooter like a bike note that i have taken this scooter to places like off-roads and its so freaking comfortable i have taken to long rides too trust me the suspension is superior i can bet you now 110cc scooter won't have this kind of suspension and integrated brakes works good and overall it's good i am satisfied..

4.Servicing:- this is the part which i don't like servicing sucks because of half knowledge mechanics at the authorised service centres and yeah servicing cost is very low when compared to my old activa

Average service will cost below 450? including engine oil..Etc. Maintenance is low compared to honda and please note i have changed my speedometer cable 2 times of course for free but don't know why it was not working.

5.Overall i am very much satisfied with this scooter let me say you about quality is good than any other 110cc scooter in the market you get loads of features where no scooter gets like boot-lamp, digital speedometer, pass-light(very imp),side stand indicator, led back light ,alloy wheels, telescopic suspension (honda still stuck at old type of suspension which is old)

Pros :- good low end performance, very comfortable, value for money, easy to maintain, good braking ,many features.

Cons :- low mileage hero claims 65kmpl i am getting around 45 kmpl !, service centre is bad, low pickup after 50kmph.

A better scooter as compared to other scooters in its price range . An excellent vehicle for daily commute , best for crowded streets performance is also good the best part is the external fuel filling now you don’t need to get off your scooter for fuel filling . However there is a problem with the digital fuel indicator , the fuel indicator starts blinking even though there is enough fuel and even after getting fuel filled overall this is a superb scooter.

  • Best bike in scooty

    Pradeep

One of the amazing gearless wheels I've seen. I am very grateful that hero has finally come up such a futuristic, sharp and smart edges to it, making it dead appealing to male audience. 10 stars for looks. Buying experience was good. Riding feels like true adrenaline rush.. As i don't have to worry about constant gear shifts in crazy traffic and cruel potholes of mumbai. Front telescopic suspension and rear unit spring suspensions absorb most of the shocks very effectively, which traditional spring suspensions cant do.. Blessed with good servicing team here at my locality, who makes sure the mileage of my wheels remains at optimum level. Pickup and braking systems are great and the overall traction control of the bike is awesome. As per the instructions given to me by my dealer and service centre, initially one should drive in economy range only. Once the total kms exceeds 2k kms, we can increase our speeds but not to high.. Due to all this i get good city and highway mileage on my bike. Very happy with my maestro edge. :)

Looks & performance: maestro edge is fail in all aspects. Its outer shell made with fiber so high chances to brake. It also has less space on leg platform as we can not place a mineral water bubble .Poor mileage. It makes so much of noise when we raise the speed 45kmph. I bought these maestro edge in march 2017.At the cost of around 62,000/- .I felt very bad.

I bought hero maestro edge zx version recently that riding experience was superb driving like car it feels on the road and total bike style super. But little bit mileage is low service and maintenance is ok then everything is perfect for using this vehicle in the cities. Finally i said this scooty is perfect for riding.

  • Best scooter for one who wishes smooth riding even on harsh roads

    Rekha H T
