I really appreciate this bike go for it I travel too much, the riding experience is so awesome, and service and maintenance are lower cost than other bikes, looking an awesome bike, I have been using it for the last year I always feel like bike racer, nice grips, and good control. Hero xpulse 200t red black - bs6 - user review

Buying experience was as usual challenging with availability of black color was very scarce across bangalore. One dealer who had it tried even selling one on display too. Had to compromise and settle down for a red/black one.
Riding experience has been mixed on feelings as after first service the bike stops revving in running condition at 1 or 2 gear lot of times. The gear indicator doesn`t show 70% of the times and i feel its an utter waste of it being there holding space in the tiny display unit.
Looks are great as it gives a different level of design as compared to the popular sibling xpulse 200 4v. The horn is a blunt and bad (awaiting to change it in next service)
Servicing & maintenance - have to go through second service and update as the first one wasn`t impressive even after clocking almost 1.5k.
Mileage when ridden within 50+ kms can clearly clock 40+km/ litre. I feel the bike has 1st gear as shortfall (6 speed gear box would have been great) as crossing 100 km/h is a very tedious process. Both foot pegs and upper side of tank (where thighs rest) vibrates heavily after crossing 85+km /h.
Bike also gets heated up heavily but considering its open air intake is pretty decent... Mirrors are a pain in the butts as the aligning in bad and the design inspired from ktm`s are shabby and pain reaps off when tried to align and doesn`t give clear and wide angle view...
Tank pads should have been incorporated as the tank design runs deep and scratching upper and sides while riding can happen very easily... Have been trying to install the original windshield and suspension socks (rubber) haven`t had the liberty to see them available even at OEM's manufacturers or at hero exclusive showrooms/service centers.
Thank you for reading...

Worst 200cc bike in the world. Please do not buy.

Amar Ibrahim

Bought on October 2019, just few months after this bike launched. Was very excited. But then problem started with buying experience. Vine line Hero Kolkata promised an offer of 5000 cash back, which i never got back till date. As I had bought after exchanging my old TVS apache 160, and I gave them my old bike before I took the delivery. Showroom people did fraud in giving offer. Now coming to the bike, it's the
worst bike ever, why hero why? Please don't cheat people by not selling higher CC bikes. You have failed in making higher CC bikes after karizma. You are best in 125 cc bike but now you can't even make 150cc bikes. I am still paying EMS's for this shitty bike. It pains a lot.
2 There are so many problems. Parts are so cheap. Disc pad needs to be changed after every 1000 kms. Engine problem in 10000 km. Parts are not available. Service center people are saying issue is with the engine. Parts is not available. Then what is the point?
Heating issue. You people don't have synthetic engine oil for this 200 cc bike. Every time I go to the service center they come up with so many problems that my bill goes above 3000. Every time. service cost of 3000 for hero bike? That too when I have rode just 6000 kms , and since then every time, Are you kidding ? Worst exhaust sound. Seating comfort is like as if you are seating on a brick. Less power engine with less mileage. How? 18 bhp engine you have provided and mileage is of 20bhp engine. Please do something for my bike. Or else I will keep on reviewing about this bike on every possible online platform. I have Bs IV bike.

Buying experience was hassle free, however had worse experience. I got the bike from Phoenix Hero showroom in Hubsiguda, Hyderabad. They didn't lubricate the chain which I also failed to notice initially, due to which engine overheated, had to visit the showroom very next day to get rid of the problem.
Its been more than 20 months with the xpulse 200t, firstly I would like to thank hero motorcorp for introducing such low maintenance bike. That's the only positive thing other than seating position. I am an insurance surveyor by profession, so my daily commute is more than 50+ km and occasionally use the bike for highway rides of 200+ kms.
Coming to bike review, bike is very easy to handle, its very nimble, seating position is great, however engine is not smooth and one can feel vibrations in foot pegs and handle bar post 5000 rpm. Gear shifts are one more big hassle in the bike, according to hero service engineer standards its fine, but one has to struggle a lot to downshift and upshift gears in traffic. Faced issues of vehicle wobbling so had to change tyre 2 times and whole rear wheel assembly once, guess what the problem is not solved yet. Interesting part is hero service engineers are unable to find why the bike is wobbling and handle is shaking even at speeds of 20kmph. Engine noise was there from the first day of the purchase however hero engineers says its absolutely fine.
What you can expect from this bike ? well its just a normal bike with good seating position and offers 40kmpl mileage. Other than that nothing positive about this bike, and forget to mention that the ABS of this bike kicks in when bike hits the speed breaker or when tyre falls into pits, which jams the front brakes.
